Fuedal work and poverty:Philippine Experience

Philippine Experience. Poverty is the most source of "ruin"of nations especially here in Asia,
along with the other country Philippine was ranked among the poorest country in southeast Asia,
to Macaranas feudalism si that system of land ownership and work relations during the middle
ages, and the emegergence of landlords owning a vast tracts of land by virtue and conquest or
land grabbing by helpless peasant or tribal group he also believe that one of the reasons why
Philippine was become a poor country is the feudalism done by the Spaniards during their
regime, during this regime the Spaniards form a kind of government where they've divided the
country into different level of administration. The province headed by the Spaniards as the
provincial governor, and further divided into cities, municipalities and the barrio. The city was
headed by gobernadorcillo and the barrio is headed by the barangay de cabeza. In the other hand
we have the American Regime during this time the feudalism take an effect in the American Free
trade policy by Paybe Aldrich, wherein through the prerequisites of land tilting, that it would be
almost impossible to small farmers to title their parcel, only the rich and educated classes who
could take advantage of a manipulated land registration system and managed to have certified
titles to their landhdings, at the end of the United state occupation the small farmers were in the
same condition they were in during the Spanish era.

In the past decades until now we can see that every country has it’s poor side and being
poor is one of the main problem of country’s problem that need to be address, in the Asian
country Philippine was ranked as one of the poorest country in the world, why? For the reason
that either the corrupt government or the elite people are the one taking control in our community
especially to our peasant people this is where the feudalism takes place in the Philippines.
Feudalism was started in Philippines by the Spaniards who colonize our country for 300 years,
during this regime they’ve formed a government where in they have the upper hand or the power
to rule in our country, because of this assigned positions. Every Pilino has oblige to follow the
every order of the Spaniards who is in power during that time, they were force to work under this
colonizers in order for them to survive. But what’s most unacceptable in that kind of government
is they’re collecting tax to the workers but that tax is not even used to improve the community
for the people but that collected tax only used by the government officials to improve their life
sustainability, just like in our modern society corrupt officials are everywhere where in they only
think about their instead of helping the environment to improved in order lessen the main
problem of our country which is the poverty. And in American regime this is where the people of
the Philippine had gain the freedom to trade products during this regime the Filipino has gain the
freedom to grow or create their own goods and trade it to other products in order for them to
sustain their everyday life. But like the Spanish regime feudalism activity also happened during
this regime where in the elite/rich and the educated classes of people are the who has the
advantage of a manipulated land registration system and managed to have certified titles to their
land holding because during this regime they are giving concern about the importance of land
reform for this reason the Filipino people that didn’t have a vast land for their own, are working
for the rich people that have the bigger properties and during the trade the poor people didn’t
have the right to title their parcels and the one who will do it is the land owner. At the end poor
people are just a working tool to the rich and educated people, this also happen in our current
society where in many poor people are working for the rich people and follow their instruction
and didn’t have the right to oppsed their master to have a salary and sustain their every day
needs.

Filipino people and the Philippines had gone through a lot of experience and challenges
being poor person is one of them that should be address by our government this problem has
caused a lot to the Filipino people, it became normal for us to become poor which can caused to
person to not strived more in their reason for them to become more poorer. In connection to
feudalism, feudalism can become the caused of a person or community to become poor because
of the wrong way of governing or leading the community to its path, we should be aware on
what will the effect of our actions and be a intelligent citizen. If I was the author of that article I
will tackle not only the poverty and the feudalism work here in Philippines but also on how and
why we should address this kind of problems we should take actions to improve our community
and take awareness in the wrong way governing the community.
