Applicants are advised to consider carefully what they pay for as separate qualifications, as this may
increase the payable amount unnecessarily.
The following examples serve to clarify when to enter one qualification for evaluation:
Example 1:
When you have a final school leaving qualification, do not enter the preceding (mid-way) school
qualification on the system as well, even if you include the documents in your application. If you add
this as a qualification to be evaluated, the system will read it as a qualification in its own right and
automatically calculate the payment due for it.
Secondary School Certificate obtained after Higher Secondary School Certificate marking
ten years of schooling the end of schooling after two more years
Example 2:
When school leaving qualifications consist of several subject statements, for example the General
Certificate of Secondary Education Ordinary Level and Advanced Level subjects, these must be
entered into the "Qualifications to be evaluated" section as one qualification so that only the fee for
one qualification is charged.
Example 3:
Where a Postgraduate Diploma forms the first part of a Master’s Degree (as in the British system)
and you have achieved the Master’s Degree, it incorporates the Postgraduate Diploma. The two are
not separate qualifications, even if you submit the documentation for both.
