Accomplishment Report

(Day 1 to Day 8)

Raiza A. Daroy 3/8/23 BSE – Social Studies

Day No. 1 – March 01, 2023

A. Activity/ies conducted
 Payment of Practice Teaching Fee.
B. Short Narrative
Prior to beginning my off-campus teaching internship trip on March 1st, 2023, I made
sure I was able to handle my obligations at school. I made sure to pay my practice
teaching fee at the Pangasinan State University - Bayambang Campus Billing Building.
We lined up calmly and attentively as we waited in line with other teaching interns from
other majors. I made sure I had a small piece of paper with my name, ID number, and
payment purpose before it was my turn. I politely thanked them and said good-bye while
patiently waiting for the receipt. In order to be a good role model for everyone who
understands the importance of adhering to regulations and following instructions in order
to prevent disturbances and misbehaviors, I made sure to practice the appropriate manners
for a future educator. As an aspiring educator, it's critical to remember that fostering a
respectful, welcoming climate in the classroom enables pupils to express their own
opinions. You may instill kindness and honor in students by treating them with respect at
school. This raises their self-esteem and helps them understand their value.

Day No. 2 – March 02, 2023

A. Activity/ies conducted
 Letter distribution to the principal of the partner school;
 A brief introduction to the cooperating teacher and school dean;
 The topics, timetable, and designated grade level for the internship in teaching.
B. Short Narrative

On this day, we sent the school principal our letter of intent from practice teaching
along with other teaching interns assigned in Calasiao Comprehensive National High
School. The school principal welcomed us after we introduced ourselves and introduced
us to the appropriate department head based on our majors. They made a call and decided
who we would be assigned to after we met with the heads of our respective departments.
We finally met the cooperating teacher after a short wait. After a brief introduction,
Ma'am Joy Anne Fernandez, our chosen cooperating teacher, showed me the faculty room
for the department and the quarters for teaching interns. After that, she gives me a
rundown of what I can anticipate during my first week of an off-campus teaching
internship. She also provided me with her timetable and allowed me to select the section I
would be in charge of in grade 9. She also provided me with the topics, which I required
to prepare my lesson plan and instructional materials. Ma'am Fernandez provided me with
a ton of advice and materials to use to make sure that my preparation was thorough,
accurate, and competent. She also provided her phone number and Facebook account in
case I ever had any questions or reservations about the things that I was supposed to
accomplish.

Day No. 3 – March 03, 2023

A. Activity/ies conducted
 Development of a semi-detailed lesson plan for the first week of the teaching
internship;
 Scheduling of weekly class activities.
B. Short Narrative
On the third day of our asynchronous activity, I began my day by completing the
assignment that my cooperating teacher had given me. I gave my semi-detailed lesson
plan considerable planning, design, and analysis. The school calendar gives my topic two
weeks to complete, therefore I need to plan the activities I'll assign my students. To
ensure that my students learn well as a result, I must make sure that they are in line with
my learning objectives. Making a lesson plan is really difficult, so I decided to look for
inspiration and direction in the resources that were provided to me and those that I sought
out on my own.
Keep in mind, as a future teacher, that successful lesson planning affects students'
learning outcomes in a variety of ways. An effective lesson plan: Aids in teaching
students and teachers to comprehend the objectives of a module of instruction. permits the
teacher to convert the curriculum into instructional activities. By preparing lessons in
advance, teachers can avoid winging it in the classroom and arrive each day ready to
introduce new ideas and facilitate engaging dialogues. Students can easily become
disengaged without a lesson plan, and teachers could find themselves unsure of what to
do next.

Day No. 4 – March 06, 2023

A. Activity/ies conducted

 Development of a semi-detailed lesson plan for the second week of the teaching
internship;
 Scheduling of weekly class activities.

B. Short Narrative
Regardless of the amount of specificity, lesson preparation is crucial because it
connects the objectives of the curriculum with the regular teaching and learning that takes
place in a classroom. Lesson planning, at the very least, introduces the factor of time by
dividing the curriculum into units presented each session. I started my day by finishing
the assignment my cooperating teacher had given me on the fourth day of our
asynchronous engagement. I spent a lot of time preparing, designing, and researching my
moderately complex lesson plan. The school calendar allotted a week for completion,
therefore I need to plan the tasks I'll give my kids. I need to make sure that my learning
objectives are met in order to guarantee that my students learn effectively as a
consequence. It's incredibly challenging to create lesson plans, so I made the decision to
explore for ideas and guidance in the materials that were given to me and those that I
independently searched out. Never forget that lesson planning improves organization and
provides a feeling of direction in regard to the curriculum for the teacher. Also, it makes
the teacher feel more assured when presenting the lesson. It offers a helpful foundation
for future planning and aids the teacher in creating lessons that are adaptable for various
student needs.

Day No. 5 – March 07, 2023

A. Activity/ies conducted

 Accomplishment of Teaching Internship Worksheet Number 1.

B. Short Narrative
On the fifth day of asynchronous work, my attention was on the teaching internship
worksheet number 1's questions The introduction of teaching internships is covered in
worksheet number 1. It was easy to complete the worksheet because we had our pre-
orientation phase, seminar and workshops, and final orientation phase for the teaching
internship. A professional learning experience that provides relevant, hands-on work
relating to a student's subject of study or career interest is referred to as an internship. A
student can explore and enhance their career while learning new skills through an
internship. The first worksheet serves as a good reminder that internships allow you to put
your knowledge to the test in the real world while concentrating on a specific task. You
might get to learn new things, become accustomed to the workplace setting, observe the
procedures, and investigate the career route you have selected to pursue. An internship
can help you define your objectives and earn experience by putting your knowledge and
abilities to use in professional settings. What you can do and what you need to work on in
your academics will become clear to you. An internship will give you the self-assurance
you need to hone your skills.

Day No. 6 – March 08, 2023

A. Activity/ies conducted

 Accomplishment of Teaching Internship Individual Activity (Objective Writing and

Detailed Lesson Plan).

B. Short Narrative
The sixth day of our asynchronous exercise involves writing objectives and a detailed
lesson plan. As all teachers are aware, teaching is a dynamic and complex process that
necessitates making a variety of judgments. Nonetheless, the forethought involved in
developing objectives enables teachers to more accurately anticipate the academic
demands of all pupils, improving the classes' comprehensibility. Students should follow
the course's learning objectives as a roadmap and to gauge their progress. Good learning
objectives serve as a roadmap for students as they review their course information and get
ready for exams. The most effective learning objectives are those that are both actionable
and measurable. Lesson plan objectives are crucial because they give pupils a specific
learning objective. The statements in objectives describe what the students will
understand and be able to do at the end of a lesson. A detailed lesson plan (DLP) is a
description of the precise methods to teach a particular topic in great depth. A
comprehensive explanation of the lesson topic, class objectives, procedure, time
management, and student practice are all included in a DLP's five sections. Your lesson
plans only need to include information on what you're teaching, how you're going to teach
it, and the goals and objectives you want your students to achieve as part of the
curriculum. They don't need to be elaborate or lengthy.

Day No. 7 – March 09, 2023

A. Activity/ies conducted

 Accomplishment of Teaching Internship Worksheet Number 2.

B. Short Narrative
On the seventh day of asynchronous work, my attention was on the teaching
internship worksheet number 1's questions. I already knew what the environment will be
like at my assigned school since I was able to visit my cooperating school on March 1,
2023. My ability to complete the homework earlier was advantageous. The assignment
asks questions regarding the actual setting in which students at Calasiao Comprehensive
National High School learn, therefore I must be precise and truthful in my responses. I
must bear in mind as I complete the worksheet that a supportive classroom atmosphere
promotes students' ability to regulate their emotions and behavior, improve their attention
spans, and experience less anxiety. Learners are more likely to develop greater motivation
when educators build a positive learning culture, which results in excellent learning
outcomes. Both student conduct and achievement can be correlated with the physical
environment. A high-quality, well-maintained physical environment promotes positive
attitudes and motives that are connected to students' capacity for learning, academic
success, and prosocial conduct.

Day No. 8 – March 10, 2023

A. Activity/ies conducted

 Development of a semi-detailed lesson plan for the third week of the teaching
internship;
 Scheduling of weekly class activities.

B. Short Narrative
My cooperating teacher had assigned me an assignment on the eighth day of our
asynchronous engagement, so I finished it before I started my day. I put a lot of effort into
planning, developing, and doing research for my fairly challenging lesson. Lesson
planning is essential regardless of the level of specificity because it links the curriculum's
goals with the typical teaching and learning that takes place in a classroom. At the
absolute least, lesson preparation introduces the concept of time by breaking the
curriculum down into units that are taught in each session. Creating a lesson plan is
challenging, so I chose to look for ideas and guidance in the sources that were given to
me and those that I independently looked out. As a future teacher, keep in mind that
effective lesson planning has a number of effects on students' learning outcomes. It helps
teachers and students understand the goals of a module of education. makes it possible for
the teacher to turn the curriculum into teaching activities. By planning lessons ahead of
time, teachers can avoid winging it in the classroom and show up each day prepared to
present novel concepts and lead lively discussions. Without a lesson plan, it's simple for
students to lose interest, and teachers could find themselves stuck for ideas.
