People working in careers unrelated to their degree, how are you?

However, there's this creeping feeling of guilt and anxiety whenever I am reminded that this isn’t what I
studied 4-5 years for. 'm slowly expanding my skillset in this unrelated field and I'm sort of scared that I
won't look for a job in my intended field hahaha.

I felt the same before (abt. wasting the degree) pero I guess naka-add sa decision ko to
transition is yung immense stress I got from only few yrs of working. I'm not sure what to
call this mindset pero I realized na who am I pleasing by staying in a field I’m not happy in
anymore, (society's standards, etc?) and how valuable would that opinion be in the grand
scheme of things. Sorry sounds pa-zen lol, Been reading lot of things like this and this

As a geologist, you can also go to Data Science and GIS diba? You can just freelance study those
meanwhile. Having unrelated jobs is also good, it will expand your skillset so you can do more

Also, that's so interesting, I was actually considering a data science career since I'm also very
interested in programming and handling data. I heard some geologists use Python and SQL,
