Call for By-Election of Year Group Representatives (Class Captains) 2023

Greetings Dear Students

As per the SRC Constitution of the University of Namibia, chapter 9, article 31 SRC Sub-
Committees, there shall be the student Academic Committee comprised of
Representative for Academic Affairs, School/Faculty Representatives and Class/year
group representatives. Therefore, this notice serve to inform student populace year 1-4
that the nomination campaigns are now open.

The election for year group representatives will be conducted as follows:

1. School of education x one (1) representative per year group and phase
2. School of Nursing x one (1) representative per year group.
3. School of Commerce, Management & Law x one (1) representative per year
group.

Example 1: School of education:

- Year one (1) lower/upper/secondary phase x one (1) Representative.
NB: This formula will apply to all other year groups in the school of education (2, 3
& 4) respectively.

INTERESTED CANDIDATES SHOULD COLLECT THE NOMINATION FORMS AT SRC OFFICE.

NB: The by-election process will be completed before 17 March 2023, date of election
and mode are yet to be communicated.
