In today’s world, more and more people can afford a car, get a driving license and drive.
Most affected by this are city centers, wich are full of cars wich is not only bad for the
environment, but also for the inhabitants. But should we make such a drastic choice and ban
cars from the city centers? Certainly, such a solution has many pros and cons.
Firstly, banning cars from city centers may be beneficial for the environment, they will be
less pollution which will increase the quality of air. In addition, people living in this area will
be also healthier, cause pollution may intoxicate our body. Moreover, if the streets will be
less trafficked, It will be certainly safier, when only public transportaition wiould be
premised.
On the other hand, a horrendous amount of citizens will not be pleased with banning cars
from city centers. It may cause even avoiding centers wich can lead to downfall of city’s
economy. Moreover, the public transportaition will be overpopulated, which leads to a
problem of moving around the centers. Lastly, if the cars were banned from the city centers,
how could police or ambulance get to those in need?
Summing up, banning cars from city centers can provide great health benefits, however, it
will meet with unpleasant reception from the citizens, which may lead to economical
catastrophe. There is certainly a hard decision to make.
