Stage Brief – Little Moonlight
Good Morning/Afternoon
Welcome to stage X of this IPSC competition at NITSA
My name is X. I am the Range Safety Officer for this range. My colleague Y
will be keeping score today.
Before we begin, Y will take a roll call. Please answer when your name is
called. You will compete in the order the names are called.
ROLL CALL
This is a level 1 course and while it is not a mandatory requirement to have
completed the IPSC black badge course, in the interests of course safety I
would appreciate it if you could make me aware if you have not completed
the course or if this is the first time you are competing.

I will now give the stage brief so please pay attention. You will have 5
minutes after the brief to walk the course. You may not move beyond the
area marked by the red barriers.

This stage has 5 Paper targets, 3 Poppers, 1 Steel Plate and 3 No Shoots. You
will require a minimum of 14 rounds. There are a total of 70 points available
for this course of fire.

You will begin standing the box. Arms relaxed. Gun in holster. Magazine
loaded. Chamber empty. Hammer down.

On the start signal you will engage the targets in any order. You must engage
paper targets T1 to T5 through the window. There are no mandatory
magazine changes
In order to keep things moving I would ask that everyone takes a turn at
helping to patch targets. Do not patch if you are next to compete. Do not
patch until Y gives the OK to patch.
The 5 minute walk-thru period begins now.
Y will call the first 3 competitors so please be ready to start immediately
after the walk-thru.
