KS DEBUGGING STEPS

Note:
1. In factory, the controller has been set the parameters. In generally the users don`t need to change the parameters.
2. Default control mode is terminal control mode (P0.06=1), if you need to use manual mode (press OD/CD to open/close door), please set
p0.06=0.
3. Default door arrived contact is normally closed (P6.00=1), if you need normally opened, set P6.00=0.
4. The situation you can`t change the parameter: a, make sure you input the right password, default with no password.
b, when the motor is running, you can`t change some parameters, you can pull out the OC/CD
terminal, and reset the power.
YOU CAN USE THE FOLLOWING STEPS WHEN YOU CHANGE THE CONTROLLER、MOTOR OR ENCODER.
Step 1: Reset default parameter
With the latest panel or the controller (with one will be fine)
Series Specifications
YS-P02 or YS-P03 Controller with V1.04 and above
KS centre opening 800 P8.10=11 P8.10=01
KS series
KS centre opening 900 P8.10=12 P8.10=02

Outside the specification, just choose the nearest one.


For example:
If you have the 1100 centre opening door, just set P8.10=12
If you have the 700 centre opening door, just set P8.10=11

Step 2: Check the encoder direction. (Make sure it is right)


Reset the power on. First screen on the panel is encoder pulse. Move the door, the encoder pulse should increase in open direction, and reduce in close
direction. If it is opposite, please change P2.01(0/1).

Step 3: Do motor learning


Remove the motor belt, set P0.06=0, and P1.06=1, press OD

Step 4: Door width self-learning


set P2.05=1, then press OD or CD key, the door machine will do “open door- closed door- open door- closed door”. The door width will be stored to
P2.06 and P2.07 at the end of self-learning.
Notice: If it close-open-close-open, just change any two phase of motor.

Step 5: Modify OD/CD curve


Press OD key or CD key, manually open/close the door to observe the OD/CD curve, and then properly change the OD/CD Acc/Dec point (P3.04/P4.04)
and time (P3.05/P4.05).

Step 6: Enter elevator operation, set P0.06=1 to terminal control mode.(Let the elevator control the door)

Outside the specification, just choose the nearest one.


For MS series:If the opening exceed 1450,should use 150W motor(motor nameplate shows 1.56/0.90A),you should also set P1.02=0.90;
Big opening(four panels centre opening>3200,six panels centre opening car door>3500,three panels side opening car door>2100)
should use 230W motor(nameplate shows 1.91/1.1A),should also set P1.02=1.1A;
If the opening exceed 1950, should also set P1.05=5.6
For example:
If you have the 800 centre opening door, just set P8.10=13
If you have four panels centre opening 1600, just set P8.10=14, then also set P1.02=0.90
If you have six panels centre opening 2600, just set P8.10=14, then also set P1.02=0.90 and P1.05=5.6
If you have three panels side opening 2200, just set P8.10=16, then also set P1.02=1.1 and P1.05=5.6

Step 2: Check the encoder direction. (Make sure it is right)
