instruction of the activity.
Think a most common things that can create a sound or music repeatedly.

Sound Devices - elements of literature and poetry that emphasize sound..

Four different types of sound devices-

Alliteration - repetition of same initial consonant sounds of atleast two words in a line
of poetry
Onomatopoeia- It refers to the word which imitates the natural sounds of things

Assonance - this is the repetition of vowel sounds at the beginning, middle or end of
atleast two words in a line of poetry.

Consonance - is the repetition of consonant sounds in the same line.

ABSTRACTION:

The teacher will ask the student to summarize the lesson.


- What is the uses of sound devices in the poetry?

APPLICATION:

the teacher will conduct a game called Read, Analyze, Pick out!
The purpose of this games is let the the student read the short poem titled
"Running water " by Lee Emmett. Pick out the words from the poem that exemplify
(onomatopoeia, alliteration, assonance and concsonance.)
