1. What is Big Bang Nucleosynthesis?

In physical cosmology, Big Bang nucleosynthesis (or primordial nucleosynthesis) refers to the production of
nuclei other than H-1, the normal, light hydrogen, during the early phases of the universe, shortly after the Big
Bang.

2. What are the 4 light elements in the Big Bang Theory?

During the formation of the universe some 14 billion years ago in the so-called 'Big Bang', only the lightest
elements were formed – hydrogen and helium along with trace amounts of lithium and beryllium.

3. What are the light elements found in the universe module?

Formation of light elements Light elements which includes Hydrogen (H), Helium (He), and small amounts
of Beryllium (Be) and Lithium (Li) were formed through nuclear fusion in the big bang nucleosynthesis.

4. How are the light elements found in the universe module?

Formation of light elements Light elements which includes Hydrogen (H), Helium (He), and small amounts of
Beryllium (Be) and Lithium (Li) were formed through nuclear fusion in the big bang nucleosynthesis. It is
an observed fact that most of the matter in the universe are the three lightest elements: hydrogen, helium, and
lithium. These elements were present during the initial formation of the universe, with the heavier elements
being later formed in massive stars

5. What is the process of formation of elements?

Elements and the 'Big Bang' theory

As the cloud of cosmic dust and gases from the Big Bang cooled, stars formed, and these then grouped together
to form galaxies. The other 86 elements found in nature were created in nuclear reactions in these stars and in
huge stellar explosions known as supernovae

6. How did the light elements formed in the Big Bang Nucleosynthesis?
Protons and neutrons made up the majority of the early universe, according to big bang theories. Nuclear
processes created the first light elements between a few seconds and a few minutes after the Big Bang, namely
deuterium, helium, and lithium nuclei.
