PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROPOSAL: PLUMBING DESIGN AND CALCULATIONS

I am pleased to present this proposal for professional plumbing services to design and calculate for your
Proposed Project, as stated hereunder,

Hereunder are the details of this proposal:

Scope of Works
A. Water Supply and Distribution System
1. Prepare the piping layout from the source of water supply to the various points of use.
2. Prepare the design of the distribution system appropriate for the project requirements to
include pumps, suction tanks, gravity tanks and hydropneumatic pressure boosting system,
whichever is required.
3. Prepare the calculations in terms of sizes and capacities of the plumbing devices.

B. Sanitary, Waste Drainage and Vent System

1. Prepare the layouts of the piping for drainage from the different plumbing fixtures, from
point of use until the direction to the point of disposal – the city sewer system.
2. Prepare the piping layout for the vent pipes as required in the drainage system.
3. Prepare the required calculations of the plumbing piping and appurtenances.
4. Coordinate the items in the drainage system in accordance with sustainable practices not
detrimental to the environment.

C. Storm Drainage System

1. Prepare the location of downspouts from the roof in conveying rainwater for use of the
building, for harvesting and recharging.
2. Prepare the layout of storm drain lines of the building, including catch basins, and conveying
the storm water to the city sewer system.
3. Prepare the layout of air conditioner condensate drains and integrating them with the storm
drain system.

D. Signature and Seal

1. Affixing of the signature and seal for the plumbing contract drawings, documents and forms
for the application for building permit and occupancy permit.
 E. Items not included in the scope of works
1. Plumbing Technical Working Drawings in Digital Format.
2. Plumbing Bill of Quantities
3. Plumbing Technical Specifications
4. Design of Sewage Treatment Facility as required by DENR.

Professional Design Fee and Terms of Payments

The fee for the professional plumbing design services shall the sum of Philippine Peso: Fourteen
Thousand (P14, 000.00).

The details of this proposal are as stipulated hereunder:

For the overall design, the calculation, signature and seal, the service fee is determined by
the quantity of water closets with a given corresponding amount as shown below.
a. First water closet ------------------------------------------------ P 1,200.00
b. Succeeding 16 water closet at P800.00/WC ---------------------- P 12,800.00

Total : P 14,000.00

The payment on account of this professional service shall be scheduled as follows:

A. Downpayment: Seven Thousand Pesos (P7, 000.00), representing Fifty Percent (50%) of the
fee, to be paid upon approval of this proposal.
B. Balance: Seven Thousand Pesos (P7,000.00), representing Fifty Percent (50%) of the fee,
upon signing the plumbing contract drawings for the application of building permit.

Consultation/Appearance Fee
If the presence of the undersigned is required during project site coordination meetings and when
required to supervise, a consultation/appearance fee shall be paid by the party concerned, amounting
to One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P 1,500.00) per appearance.
