Disodium 2-(4,5-dihydro-5-oxo-1-94-sulfophenyl0-4-
(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-3-yl) benzenesulfonate E133

The Background story

The blue color of Powerade Mountain Blast sports drink is caused by the addition of
food coloring, particularly Brilliant Blue FCF and Indigo Carmine. These artificial,
water-soluble dyes are frequently used to give food and drink items a vibrant blue
color.

As azo dyes, brilliant blue fcf and indigo carmine have nitrogen-nitrogen double
bonds in their molecular composition. Due to the dyes' ability to capture light in the
visible spectrum's orange to green region, these double bonds give the dyes their blue
color.

Conclusion
Based on the results that was retrieved, the results are not entirely accurate because
when measuring the pigment with the app many times it gave out different values.
Which means the App was in the wrong this time because the water was kept constant
and even the measurements were not changed in some way.
