MATERIALS:

FOR TOY:
Cotton yarn - Yarn Art Jeans (160m - 50 g (174 yds - 50 g))
or another yarn next colors:
• peach color for a body, arms and hat (#73)
• orange color for a hat (#23)
• beige color for a nose (#7)
• yellow color for a beard and an egg (#35)
• light purple color for an egg and a flower (#89)
• pink color for an egg and a flower (#20)
• light green color for a hat decor and a flower (#69)
• fiber filler

TOOLS:
• 2mm, 1,5 mm crochet hooks
• large needle for sewing parts, scissors
• knitting markers (to mark the beginning of a round)

REDUCTION:

R - rounds
MR - magic (amigurumi) ring
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
hdc - half double crochet
inc - increase, 2 sc in one stitch
dec - decrease, 2 sc together
sl st - sleep stitch
ch - chain Weight of the gnome -
15 cm (6 inches)
Using peach color yarn, a crochet hook 2 mm.
The head and the body are crocheting with a solid
piece. Then arms, nose and beard are sewn on.

HEAD AND BODY


(Place a marker at the beginning of the round)

Begin to stuff the toy.
Continue crocheting
R 29: (3sc, dec) * 6 (24)

Stuff the piece with fiber filler.
Draw the yarn through 6 loops and pull until the
hole is tightly closed. Cut and secure the thread.

NOSE
Use the beige color yarn and 2 mm crochet hook.

R 5: dec * 12 (12)
Leave the tail for seving and cut the thread. Stuff the
piece with fiber filler.
Sew the nose between 18 - 21 rounds from the
bottom of the body.
ARMS (2 pieces)
Use the peach color yarn and 2 mm
crochet hook.
R 1: MR (6)
R 2-9: (6) (8 rounds)
Leave the thread for sewing and cut
it.
Sew the arms as shown on the photo.

THE BOTTOM OF THE BODY


Use the orange color yarn, a hook 2
mm
Begin to crochet between 8-9 rounds
of the lower torso.
R 1: sc to the end round
R 2: hdc to the end round.
Cut and secure the thread.

BEARD
Use the yellow color yarn.
Cut 50 threads (approximately 20 cm
(8 inches).

Take two threads, fold in half and


fasten with a hook under the nose of
the gnome.
Make two rows (2 rows * 7)

Continue to fasten the threads around


the nose as shown on the photos.
You can cut the beard with scissors if
you want.

The beard is ready.


HAT
Use the orange color yarn, a
crochet hook 2 mm.
(Place a marker at the
beginning of the round)

Cut and secure the thread.

HAT DECORATION
Use the light green color yarn
and a crochet hook 2 mm.
Starting in the 6 round of the
hat:
sl st, (5 ch, sl st) * 36
Cut and secure the thread.
EARS (2 pieces)
Use the peach color yarn
and a crochet hook 2 mm.

Make 11 ch, starting in the


second loop from the hook:
1 sc, 4 hdc, 4 dc, inc (6 dc
in one loop), 4 dc, 4 hdc, sl
st.
Leave the tail for sewing.
Cut the thread.
Sew the ears to the hat.
Secure the threads.

FLOWERS
Use the pink color yarn
and a crochet hook 1,5 mm

Make a magic ring.


Continue crochet into the
magic ring:
(5 ch, sl st) * 8
Tighten the magic ring.
Cut the thread.
The flower is ready.

Make 3 flowers different


colours: pink, green,
purple.

Tie the flowers to the hat


between ears.
Cut and secure the
threads.
EASTER EGGS
Use the pink color yarn and a crochet
hook 1,5 mm.
R 1: MR (6)
R 2: inc * 6 (12)
R 3: 12 sc
R 4: (1 sc, inc) * 6 (18)
R 5: 18 sc

R 6: (8 sc, inc) * 2 (20)


R 7-8: 20 sc (2 rounds)
R 9: (3 sc, dec) * 4 (16)
Stuff the piece.
R 10: (2 sc, dec) * 4 (12)
R 11: (1 sc, dec) * 4 (8)

Cut the thread (leave the tail 10 cm (4


inches)).
Drow the thread through the 8 front
post loops.

Tighten the thread, cut and secure it.

Make 3 eggs different colours.


I made 4 eggs: 3 for the hat decoration
and 1 for the photo.

Sew eggs on the hat.

The hat is ready.


Put it on the gnome.
