“Application Of Optics”

Overview:
Electromagnetic radiation (for example, light and infrared radiation), its
interactions with matter, and the instruments used to acquire information
from these interactions are all studied in this part of physics. The study of
sight is included in optics.

Light: how it is created, propagated, and detected is the subject of optics.

It's an interdisciplinary project with foundations in physics, electrical
engineering, chemistry, and materials science.

From contact lenses to fiber-optics communication, optical applications can

be found in every part of our life. The study of optics has led to
revolutionary inventions such as the laser and the holograph.
Explanation of how optics works on camera:

This anatomy shows how optics works on a camera. In camera , we

have two types of lenses there are convex and concave lenses. First, we
have convex lens. This lenses has an important role in capturing still
images and focus camera only to the image. Also, when the sunlight travel
on this type of lenses, it cannot go through in a straight line but rather bend
it inward to produce a focal point. This phenomenon called "Refraction".
Second the concave lens, Concave lenses in the camera serves as a
support to the convex lenses. By the combination of this lenses, the
sunrays that pass through in this two lenses can converge and form a
single point or what we called " Aberration Correction". Lastly, The lens
collects all of the bouncing light rays and redirects them to a single point
using glass, resulting in a sharp image. A sharp image is created when all
of the light beams collide on a digital camera sensor or a piece of film.
