● Overall, there wasn’t that much of a change in the
data from before implementation to after
implementation. ● More often than not, students seem to be improving on Goal/Objective #3 based on the data. ● There are a few students that performed at a lower level on #3, but most improved.
● There have been small changes for students, but
most of the data remained very similar to the original data with not much change, good or bad. ● This shows that implementation of the goals and plans may have worked a little, but didn’t have enough of an impact on the performance of students. Attendance data remains the same before and after implementation. Homework data remains the same before and after implementation. Columns T and U (End of Unit) Exploratory Question: Are we differentiating instruction enough based on the needs of our students to meet their individual goals? Goal: By the end of the steady beat and rhythm unit, 80% or more of the students will score a 3 or 4 on their final assessment.
15 students scored an 80% or 20 students scored an 80% or
above (3 or 4) on their end of above (3 or 4) on their end of unit test - 60% of students unit project - 80% of students Do the student learning gaps persist? Are the students performing significantly better (in the areas identified) or not? ● There are still learning gaps for the students that were identified as struggling ● Some students show improvement while at the beginning of the process others are virtually the same ● High-flyers are still high-flyers and ● No students had a monumental jump in low-flyers are still low-flyers achievement after implementation ● 80% of students scored a 3 or 4 on their ● A few students performed better on final project, but only 60% of students Goal/Objective #3, and that is where it scored a 3 or 4 on their final test seems the most growth has occured ● Overall, in my opinion, not enough growth to call the implementation methods successful
