Kingmaker
Kingmaker, a video or an interview about the Marcoses that aims to present their achievements
and experiences they have faced in their life. Because of this video, I watched how people
suffered from Martial Law that was proclaim by the Former President of the Philippines,
Ferdinand Marcos. I am a bit disappointed on the other Filipinos who forgets the mistakes and
chaos that was because of the Marcoses in the past. Filipinos didn’t learn their lesson, instead
they still choose the Marcoses to lead in our country, that’s why Political Dynasty should vanish
in our country but it’s definitely impossible. It seems like nothing happened, it seems like no one
was hurt, well in fact there was 70,000 people incarcerated, 35,000 people was tortured, and
3,200 was killed. Other students still thinks that Martial Law was an advantage in our country
well infact it was not. I really suggests that we should have the knowledge about choosing a
good leader, a leader who has the dignity and principles that he/she can use to make our
country urbanized, modernized, and organized. We, Filipinos, should choose a leader who has
the credibility to lead our country, a leader that has the potential, knowledge, credentials,
platforms and most specially, skills that can make our country od.e of the most uplifted country
in the world.
