Full-Time French: New Format and Prices!

Our Full-time French program has been overhauled! Three times per
year, we will offer Beginner and Intermediate level classes for four-
month-long semesters. International students can register and pay for
the entire term ahead of time on our website.

What's changed? Previously, this program had sessions lasting four

weeks, with no guarantee that students would remain until the next
session. With these changes, students and Vanier commit to the full 4
months, which provides a more comprehensive learning experience.
Benefits for international students:
A full, comprehensive French program designed for students to
become highly conversational after the full 8 months
A firm commitment by all students and the college
A consistent, stable learning environment over several months

Our Prices:
$3,300 per 4-month semester
(~300 hours of class)
$100 non-refundable registration
fee charged upon registration
For VISA refusals, all fees refunded
minus the $100 registration fee
$100 discount for students
registering for a second semester

EAP - English for Academic Purposes

We are extremely happy that our EAP program has many students again
and that we have offered multiple levels!
Currently, this program is being offered in hybrid format, with four days
in-person and one day online. This balance has been to the benefit of
students, as both modalities offer different learning experiences!

We will once again host nine EAP sessions in 2023. Please see the
calendar below for the session dates.
Our Prices:
$1,150 / 5-week session (100 hours) ($1,200 as of January 2023)
$25 discount after 5 sessions, $50 discount after 7 sessions
$30 seasonal materials fee + $100 registration fee (one time only)
For VISA refusals, all fees refunded minus a $100 administration fee

Level Evaluations: New Structure

Over the past months, the Vanier Language School has modified the
process that level evaluations are completed, primarily for our EAP and
English/French Oral Communication courses. Level evaluations now
take place via zoom, and students are now prompted to register for a
level evaluation at a time that is convenient for them directly on our
website.
For students needing to complete a written evaluation, they can
download the test on the website as well, and send it to us via email.

By automating these processes, we empower the students to schedule

their level evaluations at a time that is most convenient for them.
