TOURISM: NEW NORMAL

One of the industries most

impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic is
tourism, which has a serious effect on
all continents' economies, livelihoods,
public services, and opportunities.
Nations are expected to establish a
"new normal" for the tourism sector in
along with the immediate
consideration of minimizing the
impacts of the global epidemic.
Diversification, a shift to more eco-
friendly tourism models, and investments in new technologies could all help to shape
the recovery. The tourism and hospitality industries now use cheaper technological
labor to replace costly human labor. Successful destinations should also meet five
essential requirements or 5 A’s of tourism that includes 1) Accommodation, 2)
Accessibility, 3) Activities, 4) Amenities and 5) Attractions to entice visitors, create sales
and revenue opportunities. The capability to travel freely will be essential to the
recovery from the pandemic. By navigating airports more effectively and boosting
passenger confidence in health safety, I believe we will emerge from the crisis with a
better passenger experience. I'm confident that it will be a successful outcome for
tourists, authorities, the air transport business, and the economic system.
