Analyze

the costs associated with caring for the chosen cats and dogs. If there are cost differences
between the types of animals, determine why.

Cats:

Maine Coon: For caring this cat is between 90-430 dollars per month, these because they
require a specific type of food. With this money you can have between 25 to 40 pounds of cat
food or 430 ≤ x ≤ 90 represented as an inequality.

Persian Cat: food, grooming, vet visits, and insurance, you should budget between $100 and
$185 per month, also because this requires its specific food. With this money you can get
between 185 to 100 or ≤ x ≤ represented as an inequality.

Dogs:

Chihuahua: To maintain this dog you need a budget between 100-350 dollars, these because
small dogs like these breed they require a special food. With this money you can have between
26 to 34 pounds of dog food or 350 ≤ x ≤ 100 represented as an inequality.

Siberian Husky: To maintain this dog you need a budget between 90-180 dollars, they would
eat any type of food, they have a strong body they will eat every type of dog food. With this
money you can have between 25 to 29 pounds of dog food or 180 ≤ x ≤ 90 represented as an
inequality.

Create

Using the Animal Care Guidelines, create a proposal for feeding the animals with a monthly
food budget of $1000. Include information that can be used to show a potential donor how
many more animals could be served with an increased budget.
We propose a monthly animal feeding program with a budget of $1000. This program will be
focused on providing high-quality food for animals in need, including those living in shelters,
sanctuaries, and wildlife reserves. Our aim is to ensure that these animals are well-fed and
healthy, which will enhance their quality of life and increase their chances of survival.

Our proposed monthly food budget of $1000 will enable us to provide food for a certain
number of animals. The exact number of animals that can be served will depend on the type
and quantity of food required by each animal species. However, based on our estimates and
previous experience, we believe that we can serve approximately 200 animals with this
budget.
1000 ≤ x ≤ 200 as an inequality.

1.After viewing the proposals, what impressed you? Explain.

We were impressed as a group because the other groups had good proposals related to the
care of animals, how to feed them and how to give them a good shelter.

2.Are there any aspects of your proposal that you would change or modify? Explain.

Not really because we think our proposal is good enough to not having the necessity to change
it or modify it.

3.What are some of the job functions of a shelter operator?

Care for the animals held at the shelter by feeding and giving them baths, taking them for
walks Help in cleaning and sanitizing cages/kennels daily.
