FEAST OF THE PRESENTATION OF OUR LORD: FRI. 2

FEBRUARY 7PM MASS
On this beautiful Feast, we bless the candles that will be used in the
sacred Liturgy throughout the year, and for use in the home. That is
why this Feast is sometimes called “Candlemas”. Blessed candles will
be sold after they have been blessed.

FIRST FRIDAY AND SATURDAY: 2 & 3 FEBRUARY

The astoundingly amazing promise of Our Lord to St. Margaret Mary:
“I promise you, in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My all powerful
love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the first
Friday of nine consecutive months, the grace of final repentance: they
shall not die in My disgrace nor without receiving the Sacraments;
my Divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in that last moment.”

The promise of Our Lady to Sr. Lucia, on 10 December, 1925:

“I promise to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for
salvation all those who, in order to make reparation to me, on the First
Saturday of five consecutive months, go to Confession, receive Holy
Communion, say five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for
a quarter of an hour, meditating on the fifteen Mysteries of the Rosary.”

FEAST OF ST. BLAISE, PROTECTOR AGAINST DISEASES OF

PRAYERS FOR THE SICK

Lord, Holy Father, Almighty and eternal God, by pouring
Your grace into the bodies of the sick, You watch with all-
embracing care over Your creatures. Be present in Your
kindness as we call upon Your holy name. Free Your
servants from sickness, restore them their health, raise
them up by Your right hand, strengthen them by Your
power, protect them with Your might, and give them back
to Your holy Church with all that is needed for their
welfare. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Grant O Lord God, to Your servants lasting health of mind

and body, and by the intercession of the glorious Blessed
Mary ever-Virgin, may they be saved from present sorrow
and given to share in everlasting joy. Through Christ our
Lord. Amen.

God of heavenly power, by Your word You drive away all

weakness and sickness from the bodies of men. In Your
mercy, be with Your servants now, so that their infirmity
may depart, their full strength and health may return,
and they may bless Your holy name. Through
Christ our Lord. Amen.

Our Lady, Health of the Sick, hear ou r prayers.

St. Raphael, whose name means the Medicine of God,
