EDITORIAL
A while back I wrote a piece about the continuing claims from various sources that we are all doomed to a
violent and fiery extinction by a variety of cataclysms and apocalypses of assorted kinds. Now, I don’t know if
you noticed, but apparently in 2016 (which has come and gone) we were faced with ‘The Tribulation’. Accord-
ingthto the American prophet Nancy Lieder, the rogue planet Nibiru which is the late Zechariah Sitchin’s famed
12 planet, was due to swing past us again on its (according to Sitchin) 3,500 year orbit and bring with it the
dreaded ‘Nibiru Cataclysm’, which, in turn, would cause a pole shift and destroy most of humanity. I should
add that I have an immense respect for Zechariah Sitchin, whom I hold on an equal status with Erich von Däni-
ken, because both of these man opened a great many minds to hitherto unexpected possibilities. For good
measure, it was also speculated in some quarters that the arrival of the planet in our solar system would
herald the arrival of the Annunaki who would leave Nibiru and arrive here on Earth to wreak havoc and gen-
eral mayhem among the remaining population. The original Lieder prophecy was first made in 1995 and
stated that this horrific event would occur in May 2003, however for reasons best known to Ms Lieder (who
apparently receives, .i.e. channels, the information telepathically via brain implant) this date was later re-
vised. She said she gave this date a kind of ‘white lie’ to fool the establishment, but refused to give another
date.
Ms Lieder is the founder of the website ‘Zeta Talk’ and a self-proclaimed emissary of beings she calls the Zetas
from Zeta Reticuli. Among other startling announcements from Ms Lieder is that the spectacular Hale Bop
comet (which, a few years ago due to clear night skies I viewed on several occasions) was in fact a fake de-
signed to dupe the masses by concealing the real arrival of Planet X (i.e. Nibiru). Hale Bop was in fact, accord-
ing to Ms Lieder, only a far away star being foisted on us as a ruse. When Hale Bop was proven absolutely to
be a spectacular comet, Ms Lieder modified her original posts to remove any mention of her previous opin-
ions. Not to be put off, in 2012 she claimed that none other than American President Barak Obama had at-
tempted to announce the presence of Nibiru near the sun, but ‘external pressures’ (unspecified) had been
brought to bear and the announcement was never made. Following her 2012 announcement she went on to
claim that several world leaders planned to announce the arrival of Nibiru, again near the sun, on October
20th 2014, when this did not happen she said ‘consternation amongst the establishment’ has caused the an-
nouncement to be dropped. Although this magazine always promotes an open minded approach to all things
phenomenal, why do they do it, why do they invent stories like this? No harm in it I suppose, but when it’s
demonstrated to be wrong or misguided why go on? Well, it’s a prime example of ‘cognitive dissonance’ (CD)
in action. CD is what allows cults to function; the believers know it cannot be true, but still they persist in their
beliefs and the more evidence they are shown that they are mistaken the more ardently the cling to their
beliefs. One last thing, I do hope you have had a very happy, safe and merry Christmas.

A couple of years back I was awarded the
2014 MUFON Symposium to manage in July
of 2014 and we held it outside of Philadel-
phia in Cherry Hill, NJ. I gave a lot of
thought to the theme of the event and
selected “UFOs and the Media”. I thought it
was a very pertinent topic and also knowing
the mentality of people on the east coast, I
knew they needed a topic and speakers
with showmanship as opposed to boring
scientific reviews. I researched the topic for
my lecture and here is what I presented on
why the media has failed in its responsibil-
ity to cover UFOs properly.
When you listen to President John F. Ken-
nedy’s 1961 speech on secret societies, you
have to wonder what the young President
had discovered. His speech sends chills
through my spine every time I listen to it.
Kennedy said, “We decided long ago that
the dangers of concealment of pertinent
facts far out way the dangers cited to justify
it. There is a grave danger that an an-
nouncement for increased security will be
ceased upon for censorship and conceal-
ment. No one should censor the news, stifle
dissenters or withhold from the press and
public the facts they deserve to know.
There is a conspiracy which relies on covert
means. Preparations are concealed not
published. Mistakes are buried not head-
lined. Its dissenters are silenced, not
praised. No expenditure is questioned, no
secret is revealed.” Those are powerful
words which we can view in a different light
53 years later.
I next moved on to review my appearance
on the highly edited Anderson Cooper show
in April of 2012. The show actually aired on
Tuesday April 24th ten days after it was
taped and of cause they edited out my best
responses to skeptic Joe Nickell. They did
not edit out anything that Joe said. They did
edit out the audience’s laughter when Joe
said the witnesses saw Jupiter. Edited out
was my response that regressive hypnosis is
a tool we use no different than a polygraph
and that Joe Nickell has no medical back-
ground. Edited out was my statement that
the witnesses showed courage and integ-
rity, which received applause from the en-
tire audience. Edited out was my analogy
that the 12 witnesses to these 2 cases could
make up a jury yet they would be believed
inside the courtroom but not outside the
courtroom if they witnessed a UFO. Edited
out was my statement that we kept the
stealth fighter a secret for 12 years when
asked how the government can keep this a
secret. Edited out was my response that
whole punch clouds only occur during
freezing temperatures and it was 53 at
O’Hare airport for that sighting. The skep-
tic received twice as much airtime and the
last word on the show. The shows website
had nine pages of comments; more than
any other show that they have done. All
the comments were against the skeptic
and psychic. I should’ve known the Pro-
ducer was playing me when he said he
was a UFO fan but yet never heard of
Project Blue Book or the 1952 UFO wave
over DC. They introduced a psychic me-
dium to minimize the seriousness of the
show. Just like Project Blue Book and fol-
lowing the Brookings Institute’s recom-
mendations to not tell the truth regarding
UFOs, the outcome was predetermined.
I read this quote on PAKALERT News last
week, “Do you ever get the feeling that
the mainstream media is feeding you a
very watered-down and twisted version of
the news? Do you ever get the feeling that
the government does not believe that the
American people can actually be trusted
with the truth? It is exasperating to realize
that the news that the public is being fed
every single day is very heavily filtered
and very heavily censored. In a world
where “spin” is everything, simply telling
the truth is a revolutionary act. Fortu-
nately, the Internet has helped fuel the
rise of the alternative media, and millions
of Americans that are starting to wake up
are turning to the alternative media for
answers to their unanswered questions”.
Internet news is a problem also but it is
situations like this that convince me that
there is a conspiracy to discredit Ufology
and only make my belief stronger in it.
One comment I made of significance was
that the government monitors every cell
phone call, text, email and website.
Anderson disagreed. I had just read an
article in March 2012 in “Wired Maga-
zine” regarding the NSA monitoring center

in Utah. I also referenced this in my book
“Apophis 2029” on page 131. When the
story broke in the spring of 2013, every
media outlet and Congress-person denied
knowledge of what the NSA was doing.
How is that possible when the story was in
Wired and my book the previous year? Are
they all lying, incompetent or just in bed
with the intelligence community? (Did you
know that lead paint was banned because
it blocks the NSA monitoring?)
I next reviewed the state of the media in
America. During WWII, our media and the
Pentagon were working together to pro-
tect the Manhattan Project and that work-
ing arrangement stayed in place when
UFOs started to menace Washington DC in
1952. I mentioned a study which cited that
45% of people believe 100% of what is said
by an authority figure; 30% believe 90%
which means 75% believe everything they
are told and only 25% question what they
are told. According to recent Pew and Gal-
lop research, ratings at CNN, MSNBC and
Fox were down 11% while more impor-
tantly, it was down in the key 25-54 age
bracket by 59% at CNN and 52% at MSNBC.
Newspaper ad revenue was down 33%.
The public had lost faith in the media
which is heavily controlled by political par-
ties and corporations. Mainstream media
should start by telling the truth. News
agencies should not have ratings which
promote commentaries and sensational-
ism. If you want to know what’s going on
in America, watch the BBC.
I next reviewed the SyFy Channels “Joe
Rogan Investigates Everything” show which
aired in August 2013. Rogan said he be-
lieves there is life in space but he needs to
see proof they have visited earth. That’s
the same line Anderson Cooper used. He
constantly related UFO witnesses to drug
users and said all UFO cases occur at night
so they must be dreams. Rogan also said

that people live boring lives and UFO con-
tact gives their lives importance. Rogan had
his mind made up before he investigated
but one has to wonder who did the re-
search for him. Rogan should stick with the
UFC and not UFOs. The media jumped on
the Ray Santilli Alien Autopsy charade in
1995 and Hollywood came to the aid of SETI
who needed $5M in donations to keep
operating. Hollywood makes millions on sci-
fi movies which resulted in 8 of their top 30
grossing movies but donate nothing to MU-
FON. Jodi Foster led the donors with a
$250K donation to SETI who searches for
radio waves which break up into white
noise while MUFON can prove “They” are
already here.
You also have to wonder if you can believe
the media or are some news items written
before they occur. The more important
question is what do you believe and why do
you believe it? The OJ Simpson trial made
CNN. Political campaigns are vastly exagger-
ated. Some video is re-enacted for the
news. Seventy years ago, the rescuing of
passengers from the Lusitania was staged
for the news. It was filmed in a lake with
actors and life preservers. Take a look at
the faces in a crowd the next time CNN
shows you live footage from a Middle East
incident. Everyone is angry in the front two
rows but everyone is smiling behind them
because it is reenacted. Who killed Ken-
nedy? One shooter and two bullets created
seven wounds.
Was Flight 93 shot down? Did the World
Trade Center Bldg. 7 collapse on its own or
was it a controlled detonation? Climatolo-
gists believe Climate Change is caused by
humans yet Meteorologists say it is caused
by the sun. I say it is caused by the earth’s
core. Where were the WMDs in Iraq? What
happened in Benghazi? What really hap-
pened to Malaysian Flight 370? It turned
west then south with no distress signals or
debris found yet U.S. and Chinese military
satellites were monitoring the area. Is the
stock market being price fixed the past year
way beyond the effects of “Tapering” and
why did 7 Bankers under 50 commit sui-
cides in January of this year? Did you really
believe that Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire
and Sammy Sosa were hitting all those
home runs legitimately? Has some of our
$18T debt been used to build an off world
space program? Are we just “sheepel” living
in “miceland” since 75% of you believe
everything they are told? Did you know that
corporations and the government hire web
trolls to sway public opinion on social me-
dia and in chat rooms? They reply to you
with propaganda! If you repeat a lie often
enough, 3 out of 4 people will believe it.
The Nazi’s proved that.
"What you see depends on what you
thought before you looked. Change the way
you look at things and the things you look
at change.” Should we blame the media
who is driven by ratings and have given us
shows like Honey Booboo and Wife Swap
or has the media also been duped? It’s no
longer, “All the news that’s fit to print”
but has become a commentary. I do be-
lieve that the Hangar 1 UFO show will
change opinions even though every sta-
tion now has a UFO show. Only Hangar 1
is based on real UFO files; the MUFON
files. All other shows are based on the
internet or third party info.
I next asked the audience, “What was the
most significant event in UFO history? Of
cause they replied with “Roswell”. Wrong,
the most significant event was the 1938
panic broadcast. It set the tone for non-
disclosure for the next 75 years and was
referenced in the Brookings Institutes
“Implications of Extraterrestrial Contact”
study as one reason why you can’t tell the
public the truth. The CIA also cites the
public’s reaction to ETs in this event as a
reason why they can never tell us the
truth. Did you know that in an October 13,
1996 interview with Cardinal Ratzinger
(Pope Benedict 2005-13) regarding the
third secret of Fatima, he said, “When one
reads that the oceans will flood entire
portions of land; that human beings will
die in minutes, and in millions, then one
should not desire publication of the
“Secret”? Knowledge means responsibil-
ity. It is dangerous when one only wishes
to satisfy his curiosity, if he is not pre-
pared to do something about his discov-
ery, or if he is convinced we can do noth-
ing to prevent prophesized disasters from
happening.” That is a policy statement
that all governments implement regarding
events they can’t control.
Now it’s time to discuss the C.I.A. who is
the gatekeeper of the UFO cover-up. The
release of 1000’s of C.I.A. UFO documents
in 1978 exposed the fact that Major Key-
hoe and Admiral Hillenkoetter and others
were replaced on NICAP’s Board by C.I.A.

agents in the late 60’s. The CIA agents
paid themselves salaries and expenses
that bankrupted the UFO organization in
1980 that did so much in the 60’s to offset
the lies of Project Blue Book. “The most
effective way of changing the structure of
society is to do it silently. Manage the
media and you can change everything; as
long as you do it covertly. No announce-
ment is made, just a simple policy
change”.
The C.I.A. got involved in 1953 with the
Robertson Panel and their conclusion was
to discredit, debunk and infiltrate UFO
groups. They also recommended that
school children should not receive a grade
on book reports involving UFOs. Walter
Cronkite hosted a CBS TV special organ-
ized by the C.I.A. to debunk UFOs. The
Project Blue Book years were marked by
the most fascinating spy drama that pitted
the C.I.A. sponsored Blue Book and Dr
Condon along with J. Allen Hynek against
the public and NICAP led by Major Donald
Keyhoe, Admiral Hillenkoetter, Captain
Ruppelt and later Dr James MacDonald
and Leonard Stringfield. NICAP’s efforts to
get Congressional hearings were con-
stantly thwarted by the secretive C.I.A.
and eventually led to the resignation of
Ruppelt and Hillenkoetter from NICAP on
the eve of possible Congressional hearings
and the eventual infiltration of NICAP by
C.I.A. agents and NICAP’s demise.
Even APRO, a Midwest UFO organization,
was under surveillance and infiltration by
the C.I.A. and also closed up shop. On
February 17 1954, the C.I.A. and the Mili-
tary Air Transport Service met with air-
lines officials and imposed military restric-
tions on commercial pilot UFO reporting
wherein they were subject to espionage
laws and a $10,000 fine and 10 years in
prison for discussing UFOs with the media
or public. On January 22 1958, CBS pulled
the live feed on Major Keyhoe when he
said UFOs are under intelligent control.

A newspaper article was mailed to me with
a note saying that, “This is how it is done”
but it is also an example of the media trying
to do its job. “The top U.S. special opera-
tions commander, Admiral McRaven, or-
dered military files about the Navy Seal raid
on Osama bin Laden’s hideout to be purged
from Defense Department computers and
sent to the C.I.A. where they could be more
easily shielded from the public. The secret
move set off no alarms in the Obama ad-
ministration even though it side stepped
federal rules and the Freedom of Informa-
tion Act.
Secretly moving the records allowed the
Pentagon to tell the Associated Press that it
couldn’t find any documents inside the
Defense Department that the Associated
Press had requested more than two years
earlier and would represent a NEW strategy
for the U.S. government to shield even its
most sensitive activities from public scru-
tiny. “Welcome to the new shell game in
place of open government”. The C.I.A. has
special authority to prevent the release of
“operational files” in ways that can’t be
challenged in federal court.
The Defense Department told the AP in
March 2012 that it could not locate any
photographs or video taken during the raid
or showing bin Laden’s body. It also said it
could not find any images of bin Laden’s
body on the U.S.S. Carl Vinson, the aircraft
carrier from which he was buried at sea.
The Pentagon also said it could not find any
death certificate, autopsy report or results
of DNA tests for bin Laden. It said it
searched files at the Pentagon, Special Op-
erations HQ and Navy command. The Pen-
tagon also refused to confirm or deny the
existence of helicopter maintenance logs
even though one of the stealth helicopters
that carried the SEALs in Pakistan crashed
during the mission and its wreck was left
behind.”
To top it off, Seal Team 6 dies a year later in
an old clunker Chinook helicopter and is not
allowed to return fire with the enemy. All
the witnesses are gone and that is a crime!
Everyone in the world knows that this event
took place but now we have created a con-
spiracy as to why there are no records of
the event. When I hear that the Roswell
and Kecksburg files were lost or the two
missing minutes from Apollo 11 were lost, I
have to think they are in the same room
with the bin Laden killing.
The C.I.A. operates as a separate entity
from the U.S. government. They imported
cocaine into the U.S. in the 1980’s, set up
and ruin lives or kill people who are
deemed a threat and create disinformation
and propaganda that topple governments
or cause rebellions. Kennedy was preparing
to take the C.I.A. on right before his assassi-
nation. But in a perverted sort of way, the
C.I.A. does all of this to protect you and I
because we don’t know and have never
been told the truth about the real world
we live in. The Air Force wanted to tell the
public the truth about UFOs but didn’t
know how to and the C.I.A. concluded
that the public can never be told! These
events take place because the average
person believes everything they are told;
is more interested in playing with their
smart phone, eating at MacDonald’s and
wondering about who is appearing on
Dancing with the Stars.
Now let’s take a look at the scientific com-
munity. Scientists are funded to find a
predetermined outcome. When they solve
it, their funding stops. What are the
chances of curing diseases if it makes you
unemployed? We have only cured two
diseases or plagues; polio and smallpox.
That’s it!
Why would SETI ever admit that “They”
are here when it would put an end to
their donations? The funny thing about
scientists is every 20 years they change
what they told you. I’d like my tonsils
back. But they are completely stubborn
with paradigms with their own field of
study. Take evolution or out of places
archeology finds. Evolution is a theory or
philosophy. All the evidence for it can fit
on your dining room table. All modern
finds are back dated to fit the evolution
model. I believe I came from a more supe-
rior creature, not a baboon! When arche-
ologists find something that doesn’t fit
like a gold chain or vase in a 250,000 year
old coal deposit, they say it was planted
there or they disregard it. I don’t believe
that we have the kind of science that can
solve the UFO enigma.
How about the oil lie? Every generation
there is an oil crisis or shortage which runs
the price up drastically. We’re told there
is just not enough oil; it will run out by
2050. The truth is that there is a 300 year
supply of oil that we know of and it may

actually be a renewing commodity pushed
up from the core of the earth.
How about the “Out of Africa” lies? This
was made up in the late 1980’s and prom-
ulgated in the 90’s to support affirmative
action. It is a political lie used to support a
program that reverse discriminates against
white males and violates the 14th amend-
ment. Humans did not originate in Africa
because Australian Aboriginal DNA is the
oldest ever found followed by DNA from
Spain. There is no African DNA found in
Russians. How about the Globalization lie?
This was sold to us in the 1990’s as good
for America yet all it did was move good
paying union jobs overseas so that multi-
national corporations could cut their costs.
These former union employees are no
longer able to retire, own a home, take
vacations or put their kids through college.
It is a vicious cycle for those without a
college degree. These same people now
work in the service industry and cheer $10
per hour and hope for the same in mini-
mum wage yet CEO’s earn $20 million dol-
lar salaries on the backs of these dumb
loyal Americans.
So has the media done its due diligence?
No. Has the C.I.A? Yes. Has the scientific
community? No. I think the media has
been duped by the C.I.A. into believing
UFOs are a joke. There are no phone calls
made anymore to kill a UFO story; it’s just
par for the course to laugh at UFOs unless
you can produce a body or craft. Only the
media has the power to change this soft
cover up even though the C.I.A. thinks it
has this one 99% licked. Remember; pay
no attention to the man behind the cur-
tain. And it is dangerous to be right on
matters in which the established authori-
ties are wrong. . .

 Artificial Intelligence and the Paranormal: By Brian Allan.

It has been suggested by various authorities on the subject of artificial intelligence (also
known as A.I.), that in recent years it has progressed in leaps and bounds. So much so,
that sophisticated algorithms in this area of research have developed to the point of al-
lowing decisions to be taken by machine intelligence alone based purely on data taken
from several sources being fed into to the circuits and processors associated with the
device. The type of components used by these devices include a range of processors etc
that use bio-technology and are known as ‘bio-boards’ and, as the name suggests, use
biological, molecular and other nano-components rather than conventional, solid-state
silicon based electronics to act as either the ‘brain’ in the decision making process. In
some cases the ‘bio-material’ is a liquid and is pink in colour.

This might be regarded as a worrying trend and the start of blending human beings and
machines; although it is also possible that the ‘bio’ component might be derived entirely
from lab grown DNA, bacteria, or even compatible animal tissue. This is of course infor-
mation that is currently in the public domain, so it’s anyone’s guess what is being
worked on out of sight in government controlled (i.e. military) laboratories. Also of con-
cern is the kind of research being carried out by extremely wealthy, hi-tec companies
such as Google and Microsoft plus the likes of Boston Dynamics, who produce human-
oid robots like ‘Petman’ and ‘Atlas’ that can actually walk unaided, although as far as is
known neither of these rather unsettling machines is capable of independent decision
making…yet!

Boston Dynamics is an interesting case in
point here, because they also manufacture
what are in effect robotic ‘dogs’ (‘Big Dog’
and ‘Little Dog’) that are intended for res-
cue and/or military use. Indeed, much of
the funding for these remarkable devices
comes from the US DARPA (Defense Ad-
vanced Research Projects Agency) budget.
These machines are designed for combat
duties in areas, like clearing landmines etc,
an extremely hazardous occupation best
not done, if at all possible, by human be-
ings. Some truly astonishing technology like
advanced A.I., which is of course highly
classified, is also underwritten by DARPA
and similar organisations in other countries.
As a result of developments like these,
more and more jobs traditionally done by
human beings are beings taken over by A.I.
and that to some extent human beings are
being superseded by machines. If taken in
the same context as films such as ‘The Ter-
minator’ and its clones, plus more thought-
ful examples like ‘Automata’ and, in par-
ticular, ‘Ex-Machina’, then that is a distinct
possibility. The latest iteration of artificial
human beings in film is ‘Morgan’, which
tells the tale of a completely artificial hu-
man developed from synthetic DNA. No
‘spoilers’ here, save to say that as one
might expect it does not end at all well for
the humans involved in the project.
There is also a TV series called ‘Humans’,
(currently entering its second season)
where the rather unsettling androids were
called ‘synths’ for synthetic humans and
looked exactly like human beings, however
they were also very much self-aware which
lead to all sorts of issues. In some ways this
was reminiscent of the groundbreaking film
‘Blade Runner’ and its artificial humans,
who were called ‘Replicants’. As in the TV
series, Humans, people were designated to
kill, or as Blade Runner called it ‘retire’ any
Replicants that became sufficiently self
aware to rebel against authority or indeed
their programming.
However, as far as is known using existing
(albeit highly exotic) technology, organisa-
tions such as the US National Security
Agency, (NSA), at Ft Meade, and there is no
reason to suppose that the UK Government
Communications Head Quarters (GCHQ)
does not employ similar systems, they are
able to actually monitor the thought proc-
esses of an individual. It is believed that
information can be inserted into the brain,
and more importantly that this works in
reverse and an individuals intentions can in
effect be read. All of this requires, not A.I.
as yet, but human operators to monitor
what is happening and make assessments
based on the information being received.
That said, it is probably only matter of time
before the operation is automated suffi-
ciently to hand over to machines to track
and record. All of this is before we even
consider the use of quantum computers
that make direct use of quantum-
mechanical phenomena, such as
‘superposition’ and ‘entanglement’, to
perform operations based purely on data
input. This means that instead of being in
the binary state of either on or off, the
components can be in any number of
states in between on or off, i.e. in the
aforementioned ‘superposition’, so the
computing capacity is, in theory at least,
near limitless.
Still the drive continues to keep pushing
the envelope regarding what A.I. can do
and the real danger here is if machines
develop beyond the need for any input
from human beings, in other words they
become totally independent and autono-
mous. One could also reach the situation
where machines were building and im-
proving on other machines, which is
something that occurs in a very limited
fashion today, particularly on automated
production lines in car factories and elec-
tronic manufacturing facilities. If this proc-
ess ever reached the stage where truly
intelligent machines were making other
intelligent machines, then is it conceivable
they might decide that human beings
were inferior to them and effectively lock
us out of the system. Worse still, if they
were aware that ultimately human beings
could, literally, ‘pull the plug’ on them and
shut them down, how might they react to
that?
Robotics and The Turing Test
This situation has of course occurred in
fictional accounts such as the aforemen-
tioned Terminator (and other) films. How-
ever, the implied danger to humans may
be preventable by creating some kind of
internal and irrevocable system of checks
and balances that could not be overrid-
den; a version of the idea produced by the
late author Isaac Asimov in his ‘three rules
of robotics’, that stated;
1. A robot may not injure a human being

or, through inaction, allow a human being
to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by
human beings except where such orders
would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence
as long as such protection does not conflict
with the First or Second Laws
These rules were first created by Asimov as
part of a short story he wrote in 1942 and
are included in the text of another of his
creations, “The Handbook of Robotics, 56th
Edition, 2058 A.D.” They also lay at the
core of his series of novels on robotics that
featured another of his creations, i.e. the
‘positronic brain’; these found expression
in the famous book, and eventually film, ‘I
Robot’. Another series of laws was devised
by the robotics physicist Mark W. Tilden,
who was a pioneer in developing simple
robotics. His version of the three guiding
laws of robotics reads:
1. A robot must protect its existence at all
costs.
2. A robot must obtain and maintain access
to its own power source.
3. A robot must continually search for bet-
ter power sources.
These are similar to those of Asimov, but
potentially much more dangerous for any
humans involved, who, according to rule
number one; could be in danger since ‘A
robot must protect its existence at all
costs’. Taken literally, that means any hu-
man being who got in the way of an A.I.
that was trying to ‘protect its existence’
and, in effect, stay ‘alive’, would be fair
game to be sidelined by any means neces-
sary. In the case of the aforementioned
film, Blade Runner, the Replicants safe-
guard was that they had a built-in lifespan
of four years. In other words A.I. is fine as
long as it does not supplant the need for
human input and becomes independent
and totally self-aware. If that was the case,

just how ‘human’ could robots, cyborgs
(cybernetic organisms, a splicing of human
and machine) and A.I. actually become?
The answered to this question has been
sought using such guides as the ‘Turing
Test’, named after the late, pioneering com-
puter scientist and mathematician Alan
Turing who created it in 1950. The Turing
Test sets out to establish using a ‘blind test’
scenario, (i.e. the questioner does not know
whether or not they are communicating
with a computer or a human being) to de-
termine if machine can exhibit intelligent
behaviour at least comparable to, or better
still indistinguishable from, that of a human
being.
The test is conducted in a ‘natural language’
situation. Turing also argued strongly
against those who said that machines could
not ‘think’. This leads to the question,
would it ever be possible for science to
totally back-engineer the human brain and
recreate it artificially? Could the billions of
links created by synapses, neurons and
micro-tubules ever by duplicated syntheti-
cally using anything other than biological
components? If this was possible, does it
mean that a fully synthetic brain (and pre-
sumably with it a form of self-awareness)
would develop the natural abilities and
sensitivities that seem to be latent in all
human brains, in other words an awareness
of the paranormal? Or is that something
only possible where there is an intangible
element of ‘humanness’ involved in the end
product?
As already mentioned, the only way this
might function is by using molecular com-
ponents, which have already been proven
to exist in more than one state; or quantum
computers which, theoretically at least, can
function in a near limitless number of
states. This might be a possibility because it
has been argued that the brain actually
operates at a quantum level as well in
terms of the way in which its components
function, but some physicists have rejected
this, arguing that this cannot be the case
because the brain is both ‘too noisy and too
wet’. This rejection is based on the premise
that at the subatomic level, in order to
function properly everything has to be in
absolutely perfect balance and the physical
environment inside the human head would
preclude this. Nevertheless, this possibility
has to come in to the equation simply be-
cause it is at the subatomic level that many
apparently paranormal events occur, or at
least events that appear to be an analogue
of the paranormal.
The Paranormal
and the Double Slit Experiment
An example of this is so-called ‘poltergeist
phenomena’, which, at this juncture, are
inexplicable occurrences that might be de-
monstrable in terms of the ubiquitous and
enigmatic ‘double slit’ experiment. Leav-
ing the technicalities aside for a moment,
what the double slit experiment boils
down to is this. Photons (discrete bundles
of electromagnetic, or light, energy) are
fired at a screen that has two slits situated
close to one another and the photons
pass through.
However, they change state (particle to
wave and vice versa) depending on
whether they are being watched or not.
You can't fool them either, because even
if the detectors which detect the individ-
ual photons as they enter the slits are left
in place they, (the photons), seem to be
aware if they are switched on or not and
behave accordingly. What has this got to
do with poltergeists? When poltergeist
phenomena takes place there are a whole
range of occurrences including the spon-
taneous movement of objects, but the
objects never move when they are being
observed; they only move when no-one is
looking.
They are either seen whilst in motion or
falling to rest, but not leaving their point
of origin. It's the same (or a remarkably
similar) phenomenon that occurs in the
twin slit experiment; the question in both
cases is why? Physicists do not have a clue
and prefer to ignore any possible answers
outside their own discipline, because they
have to drop the materialist reductionism
that is at the core of their science to do
so. If we can understand the one then the
other starts to make sense since the same
set of rules might apply and our place in
the cosmos a little easier to understand.
What we currently regard as ‘paranormal’
encompasses (among other attributes)
such concepts as precognition, telepathy,
out-of-body experience and its close
cousin near-death experience. Vitally, all
of these conditions are currently

unexplainable using current scientific
methodology and unfortunately science
continually sneers at such ideas when
there is considerably more proof of their
validity than there is for true A.I. An exam-
ple of this was the assertion by some com-
puter scientists (and the philosopher
Daniel Dennett) that a simple thermostat
changing state from open to closed (and
vice versa) depending of how hot or cold it
is, displays a form of rudimentary con-
sciousness.
That said, logically it also can be argued
that to change state in this manner is a
purely mechanical action; a change of state
brought about by the thermostat doing
precisely what it was designed to do; and
unless one applies a really esoteric use of
semantics, it is not a sign of either intelli-
gence or consciousness; except perhaps on
the part of whoever designed it. Oddly
enough, as far as A.I. and artificial con-
sciousness is concerned Dennett was un-
equivocal, saying: “If we made a conscious
robot we should enter it into the company
of persons. We should treat it with consid-
eration and respect.” It is also likely that in
the event of a genuine cloned human be-
ing created the same courtesy should be
observed, although for different reasons.
For example, would a cloned human, or
even farther in the future a human that
was created entirely synthetically in a labo-
ratory, have as soul? Using Dennett’s com-
ment as a yardstick then it might well do,
but that would depend on how one inter-
prets the concept of a ‘human being’.
As regards ‘psi’ phenomena, the problem is
that we still have no idea what psi is or
how it functions, but we assume that it is
somehow irrevocably linked to living, sen-
tient beings and how they interact with
their surroundings. Another example to
consider is this: could an artificial brain, i.e.
one made from silicon rather than

anything organic, have clairvoyance and a
‘mind’ rather than anything governed by a
processor? Would it be capable of ‘original
thought’, i.e. something that comes into
being as a result of what humans would call
intuition? Which, in turn, leads to the ques-
tion, does an A.I. have a subconscious mind
or could the human subconscious ever be
fully replicated using sub-processors to deal
with the many impressions and inputs that
a human being processes and evaluates as
matter of course?
The term, ‘psi’, in this case is derived from
the Greek work psyche (meaning “soul” or
“mind”). In the 1940's it was suggested by
B.P. Weisner and R.H. Thouless, that the
term should be used as a blanket identifica-
tion for various types of phenomena like
extra sensory perception (ESP), psychokine-
sis (PK), or even survival after bodily death;
in fact pretty much anything that falls
within the heading of ‘the paranormal’.
Could machines, irrespective of how sophis-
ticated, ever fit into this category?
This of course calls into question; is intui-
tion the result of the unconscious process-
ing of many ideas that emerge into the
conscious mind as a ‘brainwave’? Are the
impressions that one often receives on
meeting someone for the first time the
result of the same kind of unconscious
processing of almost subliminal signals
coming from the other person, or is it
something much more profound that
emerges from a much deeper and subtle
level? This also begs the question; if science
fails to recognise the existence of psi, could
we ever create a completely artificial intelli-
gence, or would the creation of a fully func-
tional A.I. produce psi as a kind of by-
product? A real chicken and egg situation.
However, it seems to suggest that unless an
A.I. was purely organic, perhaps even
grown piecemeal from human (or animal)
DNA, then all the algorithms in the world
are not going to produce a genuinely artifi-
cial intelligence possessing paranormal
capabilities. This in itself brings another set
of problems, because it is likely that any
scientists who try to create a fully func-
tional A.I. are themselves tied to the mate-
rialist reductionism mindset and may be
unable to think outside the box as regards
the wider implications of what an A.I.
should be capable of doing. Perhaps we
might consider the idea that A.I.’s as we
understand them at present would be in-
herently autistic, because unless they had
been adequately programmed to pick up on
the myriad nuanced subtleties and interac-
tions that surround us in everyday life and,
vitally, act on them, then they are little
better than a highly developed on/off
switch.
This is why Unmanned Arial Vehicles
(UAV’s) and Unmanned Combat Arial
Dassault Aviation Neuron Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle UCAV
Vehicles (UCAV’s) i.e. attack drones, al-
though they have limited A.I. and can act
autonomously up to a point; need a hu-
man operator to ‘pull the trigger’. After
all, a child or pregnant woman, or even a
rapidly evolving set or circumstances
mean nothing to an A.I. It does what it is
told to do when it is told to do it, but at
least the human being, depending on the
circumstances and protocols involved, can
decide on another course of action. This
brings us back to the original question,
could a truly artificial intelligence ever be
self aware, could it ever ‘think’ and could
it ever have paranormal abilities?
The Ghost in The Machine?
Maybe we are looking at this the wrong
way round, what if consciousness was
instead grafted piecemeal into a synthetic,
non-organic host? Would that work? Well,
according to Dr Chris Winter it just might.
In 1995, Dr Winter stated that in one
sense it was theoretically possible to tran-
scend death and achieve a form of immor-
tality using what he called ‘The Soul
Catcher Chip’. This remarkable claim was
based on a project conducted at British
Telecom’s Martlesham Heath Research
Laboratories as part of a £25,000,000
project to create future avenues of re-
search. Dr Winter suggested that by 2025,
given the incredible rate at which the
storage capacity of memory chips has
increased, such a chip would be capable
of storing a lifetime of information and
experiences, currently reckoned at 10
terabytes (ten to the 13th power) of data
for an eighty-year–old human.
Dr Winter went on to suggest that, “This
could be the end of death…by combining
the information with a record of the per-
sons genes we could recreate the person,
physically, emotionally and spiritually. All
we think, all our emotions and creative

brain activity will be able to be copied onto
silicon. This is immortality in the truest
sense – future generations will not die”.
Evidently Dr Winter eventually thought
better of his comments and now states
that this was “A concept, an extrapolation
of current technology that the press got a
hold of”; although he still insists his opin-
ion that ‘sensory information capture’ is
perfectly plausible. Given the work cur-
rently underway in Japan the US and the
UK to graft living tissue onto silicon matri-
ces it is equally likely that corporate sci-
ence would rather remain silent about any
breakthrough technology to avert possible
adverse reactions in the press about scien-
tific projects likely to incite ethical and
moral considerations.
As it is envisaged, the Soul Catcher Chip
would be implanted behind the eye and
linked to other chips sited in the brain until
all the senses were recorded. This would
theoretically give science the ability to
remove these implants at any point up to
death and replant them in the brain of, for
example, a newborn baby, although the
information could equally be downloaded
into the memory banks of a computer.
Such research opens up a whole minefield
of legal, moral and ethical considerations,
especially if the newborn infant was a
clone, not only would it look like the do-
nor, but after downloading the information
it would effectively be the donor.
If on the other hand the information was
downloaded into a virtual world, would it
make a difference to those already inhabit-
ing it and would the person downloaded
know the difference if they had not already
been forewarned? What is being discussed
here is of course similar to the technology
featured once again in recent films, ‘The
Matrix’, trilogy and ‘Transcendence’, are
two examples, the difference being that in
‘The Matrix’ the interface came directly

from the living brains of human beings held
in suspended animation rather than fully
synthetic programmes. In the case of
‘Transcendence’, consciousness was up-
loaded directly from the brain of a dying
scientist into a computer If it is feasible that
these programmes grow and develop into
thinking entities within the constraints and
context of their programming, and if an
external Soul Catcher programme was
‘parachuted’ into the existing programme
with the knowledge that it was not bound
by any of the constraints imposed on other
elements, would it become superior to the
indigenous programmes, effectively a
‘superhuman’?
If this is the case would it be possible to
have a degree of ‘crossover’ between them;
a link with the paranormal creating the
aliens, ghosts and demons that we occa-
sionally glimpse...and for similar reasons
too? In other words, do the occasional in-
terfaces we have with these entities in our
‘real’ world, (assuming it is not itself a rec-
reation, because we could never tell the
difference,) function because some of us
are sensitive enough to receive the delicate
tendrils of energy emitted from other, par-
allel continuums? In the virtual world which
the A.I. would inhabit the process would
probably be very similar, a sort of electronic
or energy ‘bleed over’ from the other pro-
grammes running in parallel with it, which
is directly comparable to the subtle energy
fields that surround our own reality.
It is at this point that several different ethi-
cal and philosophical questions emerge,
one of the ominous influences on technol-
ogy like this comes from proponents of
‘Strong Artificial Intelligence’ or ‘Strong
A.I.’, who claim that human consciousness
is little more than a naturally occurring
algorithm, which is all-to-similar to the algo-
rithms that enable A.I. to function in the
first place. This particular idea implies that a
sufficiently complex algorithm will eventu-
ally result in a conscious, thinking, reason-
ing device. These are questions that will
inevitably lead to furious and prolonged
debate, and perhaps they were designed to,
for the entities that arrive unbidden here
on this planet (or is it an exotic microchip?)
may be the programmers of humanity. They
may be our creators, our ‘Gods’, the build-
ers of a synthetic universe solely existing in
the memory of an electronic device to alter
and programme as they fit. Are we only
part of an ongoing project designed to see
what happens to synthetic civilisations if
left to develop and grow.
If this is the case, then as we have seen, the
contact with aliens, angels, ghosts and de-
mons become explainable in other terms
and may be demonstrations of the abilities
of entities inserted into the programme
with the prior knowledge of who and what
they are and the inherent limitation of the
programme. Is it possible that some of the
people who claim to be abducted each
year are temporarily ‘erased’ from the
programme and returned after
‘reprogramming’? The truly terrifying
thing is we would be unable to tell the
difference and the end of our existence
might be the simple opening of an elec-
tronic circuit, so perhaps leaving well
alone may even be preferable to discover-
ing the truth. Unlikely as it might seem, as
a last word on how this is perceived, per-
haps the most extreme version of what
computers could be capable of, or what
they might become comes, perhaps pre-
dictably, from the USA and the ministry of
one Rev Jim Peasboro. The Savannah,
Georgia based Rev Peasboro, a fundamen-
talist preacher of the old school, although
which particular branch of Christianity is
not clear, is of the opinion that anything
with a brain, any brain, has the capability
of being possessed by an evil spirit, and
that includes computers, but apparently
only those built after 1985, because prior
to that there was insufficient memory
available, but now, well, anything is possi-
ble.
The Rev Peasboro goes on the say that
many of his male parishioners have suc-
cumbed to the influence of on-line of
pornography etc, and he attributes this to
the presence of demons in the computer
leading them astray. The minister claims
to have checked out one case himself and
actually logged on the affected parishion-
ers computer. To his amazement and
horror, he says that the A.I. started up by
itself and began to talk to him directly and
on the screen and shortly afterwards the
printer, appeared words mocking him
saying 'Preacher, you are a weakling and
your God is a damn liar.' The computer
then apparently went mad and began
printing out what seemed to be nonsense.
The Rev later had the printout looked at
by an expert in dead languages and the
‘nonsense’ turned out to be obscenities
written in a 3 millennia old Mesopotamian
language. The Rev Peasboro claims that
one in ten of the computers in the USA
(and presumably worldwide if he is to be
believed) has a demonic presence and he
recommends that it be either exorcised or
have the hard drive removed and re-
placed. Unfortunately none of this is cor-
roborated and at first glance seems (at
best) highly unlikely, but it does show how
some people view the perceived threat
from A.I. as a real possibility and seem to
conflate processors with the human brain.
This also raises some interesting questions
about what occurs during the supposed
possession of a human being, does the
demon take over the brain or does it use/
possess the entry body?
Unfortunately a human being cannot just

have their brain replaced like a computer
hard drive which is why the demonic pres-
ence has to be expelled. It also raises the
intriguing question of, if a demon can be
expelled from a human being using
prayer, then would the same ritual work
on a computer and if not why not? An-
other aspect of this might be, if A.I. ever
does become truly intelligent and ‘human
like’, if it was switched off for good and in
effect ‘died’, would it become a ‘ghost
machine’ rather than the ghost in the
machine? The answer is…maybe, but we
will have to wait and see, although as
previously mentioned, no doubt hidden
away in some black budget facility some-
where in the world this, along with other
remarkable and possibly terrifying experi-
mental technology, is being attempted.
Perhaps the final word should come from
Professor Steven Hawking who has com-
mented on AI several times in the past, "I
believe there is no deep difference be-
tween what can be achieved by a biologi-
cal brain and what can be achieved by a
computer. Speaking at the opening of The
Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intel-
ligence (CFI) in Cambridge, Prof. Hawking
said: "It therefore follows that computers
can, in theory, emulate human intelli-
gence – and exceed it." "In short, success
in creating AI could be the biggest event in
the history of our civilisation, but it could
also be the last unless we learn how to
avoid the risks." He also warned that in
the future AI, "Could develop a will of its
own - a will that is in conflict with ours, in
short, the rise of powerful AI will be either
the best, or the worst thing, ever to hap-
pen to humanity, we do not know which”.
While this rather unsettling observation
does not say that AI is, or ever will be,
capable of becoming able to handle para-
normal events, it does present a sobering
warning on the development on devices
that might, one day, make humanity their
creator, obsolete.

The struggle of the UFO-believing commu-

nity to wrest some sort of official disclosure
of the mystery phenomenon from the iron
grip of the government, the military and the
intelligence community has been part of
the overall flying saucer picture since the
1950s. Both Jimmy Carter and Ronald
Reagan spoke publicly about having seen
UFOs, and Hilary Clinton has joined the
choir of high-profile leaders who would like
to see the subject dealt with transparently
and brought before the American people in
a way we can all agree is trustworthy and
honest. It was suggested that Hillary was
courting the “UFO vote,” sneeringly in-
tended to mean the “lunatic fringe.”

But in 1979, across the pond in the United

Kingdom, a lone voice once rang out in the
House of Lords, a voice seeking the support
of his fellows in demanding that Her Maj-
esty’s government come clean and confess
to the reality of the UFO phenomenon as
well as the cover-up that had kept the pub-
lic so undeservedly in the dark about a sub-
ject that was of concern to all humankind.
That lone voice belonged to the late
Brinsley Le Poer Trench, the Eighth Earl of
Clancarty, a member of the House of Lords
from 1976 until his death in 1995.

HOW BRINSLEY BECAME A LORD

At the time, members of the House of Lords

were not elected officials, as was the case
with the House of Commons. To be an Eng-
lish Lord required that one be of noble
birth. According to an online posting by a
writer known as Steve on the Bear Alley
Books website, in Brinsley’s case, his family
tree can be traced back to Irish politician
Frederick Richard Trench (1681-1752), his
son Richard Trench, and grandson William
Keating Trench, who became the Earl of
Clancarty, taking the name from a “tenuous
link” to the Munster Earls of Clancarty. Le
Poer was an old Irish noble name dating
back to the Norman invasion of Ireland.

The Earl’s full name was William Francis

Brinsley Le Poer Trench, and he was the
fifth son of William Frederick Le Poer
Trench, the Fifth Earl of Clancarty. Brinsley
inherited his title following the deaths of
two older brothers (Richard in 1971 and
Greville in 1975), making him the Eighth
Earl of Clancarty and the Seventh Marquess
of Heusden. But he felt that one could more
honestly trace his family origins back to
around 63,000 B.C.E., when aliens landed
on Earth. Other aliens, the posting contin-
ues, ascended from below the surface of
the planet from civilizations that still exist.
“I haven’t been down there myself,” he
said, “but from what I gather these civili-
zations are very advanced.” He also be-
lieved that Adam and Eve, Noah and other
Biblical characters were brought here
from Mars to populate the nascent Earth.
BUILDING SOME UFO COMMUNITY CRED
Brinsley was raised in London and edu-
cated at the Pangbourne Nautical College.
He worked for a while selling advertising
for a gardening magazine. After the suc-
cess of his first book, “The Sky People,”

published in 1960, he was able to write
fulltime. His interest in UFOs began after
World War II. Finding others with similar
interests led to his involvement in the early
years of “Flying Saucer Review,” selling
advertising space for the fledgling UFO
publication and eventually taking over its
editing between 1956 and 1959. He also
founded the International UFO Observer
Corps in 1956, which had observers watch-
ing the skies until 1960. The organization
closed down that year because of a dearth
of reliable reports and a shift to other

forms of flying saucer evidence gathering,
like mediumship and the study of ancient
myths and traditions.
The list of his UFO efforts also included
serving as vice-president of the British UFO
Research Organization (BUFORA), founded
in 1962. He was chairman of the Interna-
tional Committee of the International Sky
Scouts, founded in 1965. The group held a
flying saucer spotting day on June 24, 1966,
the 19th anniversary of the Kenneth Arnold
sighting in Washington State that is often
seen as marking the beginning of the mod-
ern UFO era. The name was changed to
Contact International in 1967, with Brinsley
as their first president. He was also an
honorary lifetime member of the now de-
funct “Ancient Astronauts Society,” which
supported ideas that had been put forth by
Erich von Daniken in his 1968 book,
“Chariots of the Gods?” When he suc-
ceeded to the Earldom on the death of his
half-brother and was thus entitled to a seat
in the British Parliament, he used his new
position to found a UFO Study Group at the
House of Lords, introduce the “Flying Sau-
cer Review” to its library and push for the
declassification of UFO data. One of the
speakers he invited to speak to his study
group was the American publisher and jour-
nalist, Timothy Green Beckley.
TIM BECKLEY GETS UP CLOSE AND PER-
SONAL WITH THE EARL
Beckley had a long-distance friendship with
Brinsley years before the venerated Briton
would request his presence in London.
“Long before he invited me to London to

been in regular correspondence with the
hardworking Britisher. He had developed a
worldwide chain of correspondence in an
era long before it was possible to email
someone and have them receive your mes-
sage in mere seconds. It sometimes took
weeks to receive a handwritten letter that
was actually penned on a very lightweight
blue paper and folded over into a self-
mailer and then sent across the pond to an
American correspondent like myself, who
anxiously awaited the arrival of the latest
saucer news from the land of Her Majesty.
“Brinsley was known for making some fairly
bombastic statements,” Beckley continued,
“Such as having traced his family tree back
thousands of years to the time when aliens
first landed on Earth. He told me that dur-
ing WW II he had read of several incidents
in which our fastest military aircraft were
followed by what became known as ‘the
foo fighters,’ craft which could not be at-
tributed to either the Allied or Axis forces
and for which there was no rational expla-

With these words, the article continues, his

noble Lordship, the Earl of Clancarty, initi-
ated a historic debate in Britain’s venerable
House of Lords, over a “question” previ-
ously requested by him. The debate lasted
almost four hours, and not less than 14
Lords stated for the record their pro and
con positions concerning UFOs and, specifi-
cally, Lord Clancarty’s motion that Her Maj-
esty’s government initiate an “intra-
governmental study” of UFOs, as well as his
suggestion to set up a UFO Study Group
within the House of Lords to look further
into the matter. It was reported that within
48 hours of this debate, every single copy of
Hansard – the official Parliamentary De-
bates records – with the UFO transcript was
sold out.

“Lord Clancarty was certainly the right man

at the right place,” Huneeus writes. “Better
known as Brinsley Le Poer Trench, he was
described by ‘The Illustrated London Times’
as ‘the one uncontroversial personality, the
“elder statesman” of the British flying sau-
cer movement.’ Among other things, Clan-
carty has published seven popular books on
UFOs and was one of the founders and an
early editor of ‘Flying Saucer Review,’ per-
haps the oldest and most prestigious publi-
cation in the field.”
“WE WOULD LIKE TO GET TWO ALIENS OR

When Beckley did his exclusive interview
with Brinsley a couple of years after the
historic House of Lords debate, the Earl had
developed a new ambition regarding find-
ing the truth behind the UFO mystery.
“We would like to get two aliens or more to
come and talk to our group,” he told Beck-
ley.
“Is that an open invitation?” Beckley asked.
“Yes,” came the reply, “and I’m sure that
some of them speak our language and
many other languages. You are bound to
get some people who will say that they are
just Earth people pretending. But the point
is that if you get them to do their materiali-
zation and dematerialization, paranormal
abilities which are normal to them, that
should be proof.”
“Have you ever met anybody that you
thought was an extraterrestrial?” Beckley
prodded further.
“Yes, I have, on several occasions,” Brinsley
answered, “but I was probably completely
wrong. I had this idea in my head because
of certain things. But I always thought that

there was lots of life elsewhere, even
when I was very young.”
The Earl reflected further on his efforts to
bring about disclosure, which he phrased
as getting “the government to come
clean.”
“I’m sure they’ve got plenty of reports,”
he told Beckley. “There are reasons for a
cover-up. The original one, I think, has to
do with panic, but also a number of coun-
tries might be trying to get hold of an
alien spacecraft in operational condition,
or in good order, not a crashed, smashed
one.” “Do you think that the British gov-
ernment has a crashed UFO?” “It’s possi-
ble,” the earl said, “but I wouldn’t know. I
couldn’t give you a good answer to that
one. But think that if one country were to
get hold of one and were actually able to
make more of them, that particular coun-
try would rule the world. That, of course,
is the reason that a particular government
would have a cover-up.
“Another possible reason for a cover-up,”
he continued, “is that, if they are using a
free electromagnetic method of propul-
sion, this would be a blow for a lot of in-
dustries: the nuclear industry, the electri-
cal, oil, coal. It would be a good thing,
because a lot of these industries are caus-
ing pollution.”
SOME IMPORTANT WRITINGS ARE GIVEN
NEW LIFE
Many years before he made international
headlines by introducing the debate on the
UFO question in the House of Lords,
Brinsley was paying his dues as a re-
searcher and writer. Beckley has repub-
lished two of the late Lord’s titles through
his Global Communications/Inner Light
Books publishing house.
“Legacy of the Sky People,” which also
includes updated material by Nick Redfern,
Tim Swartz and, in the interest of total
disclosure, myself, is a reprinting of the
bestselling, “The Sky People.” In an inter-
view I conducted with Brad Steiger, who
has long been one of the most respected
journalists specializing in the field of the
paranormal, he wholeheartedly praises
Brinsley’s pioneering exploration of the
Ancient Astronauts theory of UFOs. “I read
Brinsley’s book when it came out in the
1960s,” Steiger told me. “I haven’t had the
privilege of hanging out with him, the way
Brother Tim (Beckley) has, but I certainly
am familiar with his work. It’s the ground-
breaker aspect that is so important.”
Steiger said that in one of his own best-
selling books, “Atlantis Rising,” he quoted
quite freely from Brinsley’s work, adding
that it was a new field at the time and the
Earl was one of the few proponents of the
idea that UFO contact had begun in an-
cient times. Nevertheless, it was Erich von
Daniken, years later, who seemed to get
the most recognition. “Brinsley was gener-
ally neglected,” Steiger said, “Because
Erich von Daniken was the fair-haired boy
at the time and was given a great deal of
credit for coming up with the whole an-
cient astronauts concept. A book such as
‘The Sky People’ was read by a few indi-
viduals, but the great masses of people

were not interested. Then something
comes out and gets a lot of attention, like
‘Chariots of the Gods?’ As people said, von
Daniken just happened to be standing in
front of the cosmic slot machine when it
paid off.”
Steiger feels that Trench stands out from
his contemporaries because the late earl’s
approach was more scholarly and careful in
terms of the claims he made. “Brinsley
would present things as a hypothesis,”
Steiger explained. “He would say ‘PERHAPS
you find this daring; PERHAPS you find this
offensive to your beliefs. But consider that
Jehovah may have been a leader of people
who came from the stars.’ There’s a differ-
ence between presenting things and allow-
ing your readers to ponder them and then
make up his or her own mind as opposed to
coming out and saying, ‘These entities came
from outer space and built the pyramids.’
There’s a difference between presenting it
as a hypothesis and presenting it as fact.”
Another interesting testimonial comes from
Giorgio Tsoukalos, the spokesman in the
English-speaking world for none other than
von Daniken himself. “Brinsley Le Poer
Trench’s books,” Tsoukalos told me, “have
been quoted in many classic ancient astro-
nauts works. An argument definitely can be
made for the points he has written about,
especially because he based a lot of his
research on more ancient texts that are not
available as readily as they were back when
he was alive. I do think he is one of the
founders of the modern-day ancient astro-
nauts theory.”

Beckley has also republished Brinsley’s
1974 book, “Secret of the Ages: UFOs Inside
the Earth,” giving it the title “Finding Lost
Atlantis Inside the Hollow Earth.” As the
new title suggests, one is required to buy

on the fringes of generally accepted reality:
one, that Atlantis actually existed, and, two,

endorsed the idea that aliens may have
been coming here since the time of crea-
tion,” Beckley explains, “in his later career

commonly refer to as the Lost Continent
of Atlantis. Intermingled with this At-
lantean culture were space beings arriving
for various reasons – some beneficial,

long, panoramic narrative in the form of
legends and myths, telling us of gods that
came from outer space, who ruled over
Atlantis and were the progenitors of our
own civilization. They also fought terrible
wars and made grotesque monsters and
giants with reptilian legs that turned upon

Immortal Masters of Earth: By Mark Bennett.
We are not the
evolutionary highpoint of creation.
Conventional science will tell us that we –
mankind as a whole – are the evolutionary
highpoint of creation. That nothing more
intelligent than us has ever existed on Earth
– and certainly that nothing more intelli-
gent exists on Earth now. This is a rather
depressing outlook – given the state of
mankind – with the majority spending much
if not all of their time doing things that are
very far from intelligent – whether simply
frivolous or downright evil. An ant may well
be of the same limited viewpoint with re-
gard to its own species. How many ants
ever see a human being? And if they do, do
they recognize it as a higher life form?
What if there were one ant who was a bit
more adventurous and a bit brighter than
all the others, and saw humans, and did
appreciate that this was a more evolved
species, and then decided to tell his fellow
ants this amazing news. It would seem
unlikely that the ants, as they busied them-
selves with carrying food, building colonies,
and breeding baby ants, would take much
interest – and even if they bothered to
listen at all, would they believe such a
strange story? And even if they believed it,
would they change their lives as a result of
it, and try to become more evolved them-
selves? With regards to the truth about the
existence of immortals on Earth – it is we
who are the ants: too limited in experience
and perception; too preoccupied by daily
problems and pleasures; too incredulous of
truth, and too resistant to change.
The evolution of consciousness.
Evolution isn’t just a physical phenomenon;
it’s a phenomenon of consciousness. In fact
the evolution of consciousness is far more
important than physical evolution, and is
the driving force behind physical evolution.
For centuries seers and prophets have
talked about the existence on Earth of be-
ings of wisdom and great power – higher
life forms that may resemble us physically,
but are without doubt our superiors. In
more recent years the veil of secrecy about
such beings has been lifted. In the 19th cen-
tury perhaps most notably through the
Theosophical Society, spearheaded by the
great pioneer Mme Blavatsky, and more
recently by Dr. George King (1919-1997),
founder of The Aetherius Society.
Reincarnation is a reality.
Reincarnation is a reality. In fact it is a logi-
cal necessity. Consciousness can no more
fade into nothingness than a physical
object can. Things can change when force
is applied, but nothing can ever simply
disappear. Consciousness is a living thing,
and when its home – the body – can no
longer support it, it simply moves else-
where, existing in a more “subtle” state,
before eventually beginning a new life in a
new physical body. This explains the
countless, well-substantiated cases of
ghost sightings; of verifiable mediumistic
communications; and extraordinary cases
of past-life recall – which are especially
impressive as evidence in the case of chil-
dren remembering a completely different
time, place, culture and lifestyle – to
which in their current life they have had
no exposure. In fact the evidence for life
after death is literally overwhelming –
certainly vastly greater than the evidence
required to deny someone of their liberty
in a court of law and lock them in jail for
20 years, or even execute them, or worse
still go to war – even in parts of the so-
called democratic, free world.
Karma is logical and all encompassing.
We pass from life to life in order to gain
experience through karma. Karma is all
about learning – not about punishing. It is
not a supernatural force superimposed on
a logical universe – karma is the very es-
sence of logic, and all other natural laws,
whether applying to the physical world or
not, are either an aspect of karma, or, at
the very least, work in complete harmony
with karma. In fact karma is often de-
scribed as the principle that action and
reaction are opposite and equal, which is

of course Newton’s third law of motion.
That illustrates just how integral it is – not
just to “moral issues” – but even to the
movement of physical objects.
Beyond the cycle of rebirth.
What is the goal of all this experience,
from one life to the next? The answer is
simple: eventually we will reach a point
where we no longer need to reincarnate;
where we have learnt all the lessons that
we, as points of consciousness, can learn
through reincarnation upon Earth. At that
point we have a choice – whether to begin
a new, higher life cycle on another planet,
or whether to stay on Earth, working be-
hind the scenes, as it were, to help man-
kind to advance. But regardless of what
choice is made, the intelligence in question
no longer suffers the limitation of a mortal
body like the rest of us do. In other words,
they do not get old and die and then get
reborn as babies. They may change their
bodies from time to time (maybe every
few hundred or even few thousand years),
but they would do so in full consciousness,
reusing the energy of their former physical
structure, for their new physical structure.
And yes – they are physical beings just as
we are physical beings – but, unlike us,
they are capable of moving freely from one
frequency of vibration to another, i.e. of
vibrating their physical structure on to a
different material plane.
The Ascended Masters –
where are they and what do they do?
Those who choose to stay on Earth are

known as “The Ascended Masters”. They
work together in what is termed “The Spiri-
tual Hierarchy of Earth”, sometimes called
“The Great White Brotherhood” – which is
not a very good name for it in some ways
since it could be seen to imply that they are
all white and all male, which is certainly not
the case. Sexism and racism are the foul
inventions of mankind – totally alien to the
Divine justice of karmic evolution. All As-
cended Masters have amazing powers. For
example, he or she could cut a mountain in
two using only the power of thought, or sit
in a blast furnace without being burned.
They also have phenomenal psychic abili-
ties, such as advanced clairvoyance and
telepathy. They live primarily in or under
various mountains around the world – the
location of their retreats including: Sri
Lanka; Luxor in Egypt; Mount Kilimanjaro in
Tanzania; Ben Macdui in Scotland; the An-
des; Grand Teton, Mount Shasta and Castle
Peak in the USA; and the Himalayas. Each
specializes in different activities, for exam-
ple in the Scottish retreat they examine and
keep records of all spiritual organisations
throughout the world.
There are also various other more minor
retreats. Much of their work centres on the
invocation, storage and radiation of spiri-
tual energy, which was discussed in the
article entitled ‘Operation Prayer Power –
an amazing true story of extraterrestrials,
futuristic technology and religion’ in the
June 2016 issue (No. 86), and indeed the
Ascended Masters are engaged in work
very similar to Operation Prayer Power –
storing energy in specially-designed
“batteries” for later release – though no
doubt their version of this mission would be
vastly more advanced than anything that
we would be capable of – as yet. Spiritual
energy – which is a huge topic in itself – is
a real power which brings about healing,
ecological balance, and perhaps most
important of all – it raises consciousness;
in other words, it helps people access the
inspiration within themselves to bring
about positive change.
Mediumship –
true, false and somewhere in between?
The Ascended Masters also give spiritual
teachings – which is done in various differ-
ent ways, one of them being through me-
diumship. Dr. George King is an out-
standing example of a medium who has
genuinely channeled an Ascended Master,
and in this he is extremely rare, though
certainly not unique. There are countless
claims of such a feat, but in many cases a
careful examination of the so-called spiri-
tual teaching given is enough to prove to
the discerning mind that the claim is false.
In such cases it may be that the medium is
being deluded by their own imagination;
or is deliberately lying; or is being de-
ceived by an entity falsely claiming to be a
great Master; or is simply mistaken about
the identity of a well-meaning spirit guide
or other contact.
The Ascended Masters are great enlight-
ened beings; they do not concern them-
selves with the trivia of the daily life of an
ordinary individual. You cannot learn to
channel an Ascended Master in a week-
end seminar and then use your supposed
contact to help you find a new job, a new
romance, or a better place to do your
shopping. Likewise, even when the mes-
sage is more general, all too often it is
little more than vague sentimentality –

proving that it cannot be authentic. These
intelligences do not indulge in such non-
sense; they are highly practical, logical,
action-orientated adepts – if they were
not, then they would not have been able
to go through the initiation of Ascension
giving them their current advanced evolu-
tionary status.
We need them – they don’t need us.
While the work they do is of tremendous
benefit to mankind, their most important
function is simply remaining on Earth as
the advanced intelligences that they are.
Their very presence here has a huge and
very positive effect on the karma of the
world as a whole, which staves off the
karmic cataclysm that would otherwise
inevitably ensue. In fact, Dr. King stated
that he believed humankind would only
last on Earth about three and a half days if
they were to leave us alone to fend for
ourselves.
Why don’t they walk openly among us?
Given their importance, you might wonder
why they do not walk openly among us
and spread their wisdom freely to all. The
answer is that there is nothing they would
like more – but we are not yet advanced
enough to handle such a thing correctly.
Imagine how people would react to the
appearance of a great, wise being of tre-
mendous power. Some would welcome it,
certainly; but many would ignore it, at
least after the initial curiosity wore off; and
appalling though it is to even think it – a
considerable number would actively op-
pose such a being. An Ascended Master
would have no reservation in quashing a
lot of nonsensical religious dogmas – no
doubt resulting in his or her being called

the “Anti-Christ” or similar such terms. And
they would have no reservation either in
denouncing the abominable unfair distribu-
tion of wealth on Earth – where some have
hundreds of millions of dollars and others
starve due to extreme poverty. Likewise,
they would have little time for the barba-
rous taste for war demonstrated by a num-
ber of countries around the world, including
certain countries which supposedly pride
themselves on the ideals of freedom and
democracy. It is when – and only when –
mankind as a whole has grown up enough
to welcome the presence of an Ascended
Master – that such a being will be allowed,
by karmic law, to walk openly among us.
We have to sort our own problems out – as
a planetary race – before we will deserve
this kind of direct, face-to-face spiritual
assistance. We have to prove that we would
use such an opportunity wisely before it can
happen.
Who are they?
Here are some examples of intelligences in
the Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth:
The Lord Maitreya – is a member of the
Spiritual Hierarchy’s Inner Council. He fea-
tures prominently in certain ancient writ-
ings under the name Maitreya Rishi, and is
the guru of Count Saint Germain.
Count Saint Germain– is perhaps the most
famous, at least in the Western world, be-
cause, as far as we know at least, he has
had more contact than any other Ascended
Master with ordinary mortals like you and
me, including certain European royalty
(who were certainly very ordinary from a
spiritual point of view). He did this for
around 700 years. Some believe he was
Christian Rosenkreuz, the legendary foun-
der of the Rosicrucian order; and there are
numerous other identities which have been
put forward for him.
Swami Vivekananda – who lived from
1863 to 1902, is now an Ascended Master.
One of the foremost disciples of Sri Rama-
krishna, he brought eastern wisdom to
the West when he represented Hinduism
at The World’s Parliament of Religions in
Chicago in 1893, also spreading Vedanta
philosophy in Britain and other parts of
Europe. He died in his homeland – India –
aged 39, thereby fulfilling his own proph-
ecy that he would pass on before the age
of 40.
Madame Blavatsky– who lived from 1831
to 1891, is also in the Spiritual Hierarchy,
though it has not been revealed whether
or not she has been through the initiation
of Ascension (Note: not every member of
the Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth is an As-
cended Master – but all are very advanced
in spiritual matters). Some refer to her as
the “Mother of the New Age”, in recogni-
tion of her outstanding contribution to
revealing aspects of Eastern wisdom and
occultism at a time when virtually nothing
was known about either in the Western
world. She claimed contact with a number
of intelligences referred to in Theosophy
as “Mahatmas”. It would seem very likely
that these Mahatmas were either in the
Spiritual Hierarchy, or, at the very least,
worked with it. Two well-known examples
of these advanced intelligences are the
Masters Morya and Kuthumi (also written
Koot Hoomi).
Saint Goo-Ling – who has lived in the
same physical body for some 2000 years,
holds the prominent position of “Keeper
of the Great Seal”. He communicated
through the trance mediumship of Dr.
George King a number of times, and had
the honour of introducing certain Trans-
missions from even more advanced intelli-
gences than himself, originating from
other planets.

The Lord Babaji – who, incredible though it
sounds, has lived in the same physical body
for some 3000 million years, is a Cosmic
Master from another planet rather than an
Ascended Master from Earth.
He comes from a higher material plane of
the planet Saturn – the most advanced
planet in the Solar System – and is the
political and spiritual head of the Hierar-
chy.
This gives him a position of unique impor-
tance on Earth – and he is a Master to
whom we owe a tremendous debt of grati-
tude for being instrumental in staving off
world catastrophe on countless occasions.

America Needs a Space Age President.

There was a moment in our history when

‘We, the People’ could vote for a man who
bravely championed contact and friendship
with extraterrestrials and who attempted
to lead us into a bright new day! I am proud
to have known Gabriel Green who ran for
President of these United States in 1960
and again in 1972. Gabe would have been
the “Flying Saucer President” who would
have disclosed the existence of extrater-
restrials in Earth skies, and explained their
positive motivations to the people of Earth.
He wanted humans to benefit immeasura-
bly from the advanced Space Brothers and
Sisters’ knowledge and wisdom.

However, Gabe was ahead of his time; even

in 2016, we still struggle to accomplish UFO
Disclosure. Gabe did not meet the required
number of voters to be on the ballot with
Richard Nixon and his Democratic rival,
John F. Kennedy in 1960, but he nonethe-
less put together a full platform, covering a
range of economic and social policies based
on information received from the Space
People, and campaigned mostly in his na-
tive California. He ran a full-page spread in
the Los Angeles Mirror News. Despite early
enthusiasm, Green withdrew in October,
giving his endorsement to Kennedy. In
1972, his campaign drew even less atten-
tion but Gabe was intrepid and brave; he
always gave it his best.

Have we taken two steps backward? In
1960 we at least had a presidential candi-
date who waged a serious campaign in-
volving Disclosure and Contact. In 2016,
there is no candidate who even mentions
extraterrestrials, although Hillary Clinton
is said to have a real interest in the sub-
ject and would like to disclose at least
some of the truth.
I knew Gabriel Green when he was a few
decades older than during his presidential
and senatorial campaigns, but he was still
a dedicated Disclosure/Contact pioneer. I
first met Gabe at his home in Yucca Valley,
California, in 1983. My good friend Timo-
thy Green Beckley was visiting the area
and asked if I would like to meet Gabriel
Green who was famous in the George van
Tassel days at Giant Rock. Of course I
wanted to meet Gabe Green! He had
blazed a trail for me to follow in my UFO

appeared on Art Linklet-
ter’s “People Are Funny”
television show.
Gabe’s home was full of working com-
puters and I wondered who he was
communicating with; were they on a star-
ship? I will never know, but Gabe was a
fascinating man and I loved to listen to his
tales of extraterrestrial contact at Giant
Rock and then, ongoing ET communica-
tions in his life.
Gabriel Green was born in Whittier, Cali-
fornia, in 1924. He studied at the Los Ange-
les Art Center School of Photography, but
his career aspirations were put on hold
when he was drafted into the U.S. Navy. At
war’s end, Green returned to civilian life
and operated a photography studio as well
as working in the Los Angeles school sys-
tem.
The Space People’s Candidate.
As George van Tassel began drawing tens
of thousands of people seeking contact
with the Space Brothers and Sisters at
Giant Rock in the High Desert of California,
Gabe founded the Los Angeles Interplane-
tary Study Group in 1956. He promoted
interplanetary messages and music.

He also became regular speaker at flying
saucer events, including Giant Rock gather-
ings. He then launched the Amalgamated
Flying Saucer Clubs of America (AFSCA) as a
successor to his study group and published
a national newsletter inviting the Space
People to please continue contact with
humans.
Gabriel Green was also a trance medium
who channelled messages from the Space
People himself. He led UFO circles in past
life regressions and taught individuals how
they too could make psychic contacts with
far-distant beings. It was at this point in his
career that 1960 rolled around and he ran
for President of the United States.
In November of the same year, Green mar-
ried Helen Isabel Sibert. The couple re-
mained together until her passing in early
May of 1970; Gabriel never remarried and I
could always sense his sadness and how
much he missed her. They were married a
brief ten years before she passed.
In 1962, Gabe launched a campaign to be-
come the Democratic Party’s California
nominee for the United States Senate.
However, he failed to make an impact and
he put politics behind him for the time be-
ing. He made claims to having telepathic
connections to John F. Kennedy and Robert
F. Kennedy via his Alpha Centauri contact
“Renton.” While there is no way to prove
this, I saw no reason to ever doubt Gabe’s
sincerity.
In 1972, Green took part in his second and
final presidential campaign, this time as the
nominee of the Universal Party, with fellow
saucerian Daniel Fry as his vice-presidential
running mate. This time Gabe was regis-
tered on the ballot in Iowa but his efforts
garnered less success and less press than
previous years.
Gabriel Green retired in the mid-seventies
to Yucca Valley, near Giant Rock. It was in
his comfortable home there that Tim Beck-
ley and I enjoyed talking with him on

several different occasions. He continued
his work as a medium, relating messages
from the Space People. He remained an
active member in the UFO field until his
passing in September 2001. I like to be-
lieve that he is now one of the Space
Brothers himself; I know Gabe would
agree with that possibility too!
Interview with Gabriel Green at
the August, 1960 AFSCA Convention
The following is a transcription of a re-
corded interview, conducted at the Au-
gust 13-14, 1960 meeting of the Amalga-
mated Flying Saucer Clubs of America.
Question: What made you decide to take
on this campaign, aside from the other
duties of your organization?
Gabriel Green: Well, I decided as a result
of a request from the Space People that I
do so. At first I was very reluctant because
I felt very humble with being asked to
undertake such a responsibility. Frankly,
at first, I really didn’t feel that I wanted to
take up on my shoulders such a tremen-
dous project. But when the Space People
talked to me about it, and pointed out
that our civilization was doomed unless
somebody took the effort, made the ef-
fort, and took the action to change the
present direction in which mankind is
heading that we would not very long have
a civilization on this earth. And, like many
others, my buddies in the service, I was in
the war too, and I was fortunate enough
to come back alive, and I feel that I owe
something to my buddies, and to those
who are yet living, to dedicate my life to
attempting to resolve the many problems
which mankind is facing now, and as a
result of the advanced information with
the Space People have over a period of
many years have been a party to us, we
now have this information in our

possession, and I have decided to submit
to their request to carry through with this
program, to attempt to bring to the Ameri-
can people these solutions so that they
may evaluate them for themselves, and
decide for themselves whether or not they
feel they have merit.
Q: I see. When you say Space People, are
you referring to actual personal contacts or
psychic contacts?
GG: I’m referring to personal contacts with
the people from other planets.
Q: Now, are these individuals present in
our civilization? Are they free, walking
around–?
GG: Yes, there are many of them walking
our earth, as fantastic as that will undoubt-
edly seem to many of our people who have
not had the opportunity of becoming
aware of the overwhelming existence of
these people visiting our earth at the pre-
sent time, which our flying saucer move-
ment has accumulated over a thirteen year
period of investigation.
Q: What is the main difference between an
extraterrestrial person and a person born
on this planet? Is there any physical differ-
ence, or mental makeup difference, or
anything of that sort?
GG: You would not be able to recognize
any physical difference, although, in gen-
eral, I would say they are perhaps better
looking than the average earth person;
although we, of course, have many very
handsome people, movie stars for in-
stance, and a great many very good look-
ing people on our own planet. The differ-
ence would be, I would say, primarily, a
mental and spiritual advancement, as well
as having an understanding, a greater un-
derstanding of all that is, that means

scientific and technological information,
which allows them to live in a non-
destructive society.
Q: Will these people actively participate in
your campaign, or merely offer suggestions
during the campaign?
All planets must go through an evolution-
ary period, and they know that it is impos-
sible for people to learn anything if every-
thing is done for them. They could, at any
time, take over our earth between break-
fast and lunch, and make robots out of all
of us, but this would be against their uni-
versal laws, and against their principles.
They are here to help us help ourselves,
and we all know that you can hold a
baby’s hands, but you cannot walk for
him: he must learn to walk for himself so
he can do things on his own if the help
that is given to him is to remain perma-
nent.
I say that if we had 1/10th of 1% of the
wealth behind just one of our candidates,
that we could be successful in reaching the
presidency in 1960. But if we are not suc-
cessful this time, we will have a four year
period in which to campaign, and present
our plan to the people, and by that time,
the Space People assure us, that we have a
very excellent chance of being successful.

GG: There is a certain limit to which they
can intervene in our behalf, or will inter-
vene, and the limits of this intervention in
behalf of the welfare of our people of earth
depends on universal laws.
Q: Is the actual success coming in Novem-
ber or do you merely see an opportunity
to bring your question to the people?
GG: Our main purpose this year is to at-
tempt to get information about our plan
before the public, and when our people
understand this plan, it will sell itself on
the basis of its obvious merit; but, and I
say this, that if we receive sufficient pub-
licity before November, we would be in
the White House this year.

Could it be a part of a UFO? Villagers are left baffled after a mysterious object
fell from the sky leaving a burning crater

Resident in a Chinese village were left baffled after an unknown object had apparently fallen
from the sky and left a big hole on the ground. They said the object landed on the top of the
mountain with a loud bang on December 12 in Zhangjiapan village, Shaanxi Province, re-
ported People's Daily Online.

The crater was burning when some residents rushed over but mysteriously no object was report-
edly found in the hole. Some people have linked the incident with a UFO. The crater reportedly
measured one metre long (3.2 feet) and 50 centimetres wide (1.6 feet). The police of Fugu
county, which manages the village, said they had found objects that might be related to the
incident in three locations, according to HSW.cn. All of the locations were in the south-western
part of Fugu county. Among them, one was a large metal ring, said the police. Letters and num-
bers could be seen marked on the surface. The ring is thought to have fallen at high speeds and
crashed into the rooftop of a house. The police said all the objects had been sent to experts for
tests. No injuries have been reported.

QQ.com posted a video on December 13, which was thought to be

taken by an eyewitness. The clip shows fire burning in the crater,
however no solid object can be seen in the crater. A villager, sur-
named Zhang, told a reporter of HSW.cn that he heard a deep sound
in the sky at around 1pm on Friday. He looked up and saw an object
rapidly falling towards the mountain, the villager said. '[It] made a
loud bang when it hit the ground. Then it started burning. The dry
grass nearby was quickly set aflame,' Zhang added. The mysterious
incident has attracted thousands of comments from Chinese netizens
on QQ.com, a major portal in China. Many are guessing what the
object could be, with some suggesting it could be a part of a UFO. 'It
must have fallen from a crashed alien spacecraft,' one such person
wrote while another one said 'the ring looks like the door of a UFO
cabin'. 'It must have been the wheel of an alien's vehicle,' another
user suggested. A web user asked: 'Are they parts of Shenzhou 11
spacecraft?' 'It probably came from a failed time-traveller,' another
user commented. A fourth user, apparently terrified by the incident,
said: 'I will look to the sky while I am walking.' The fire has been put
out by the villagers. The incident is being investigated by the police.

At last AMC puts fans of the satisfying spin off from The Walking Dead franchise out of their misery with the release
of Fear The Walking Dead Series Two in all its gory glory. This time, after making the journey south aboard ‘The
Abigail’, the survivors find themselves settled in Mexico and while still fending off hoards of brain and flesh munch-
ing zombies, discover the true scale of the zombie apocalypse that has engulfed them.

We also discover that some of the survivors are psychopaths who are more dangerous than the zombie hoards. Although the first series
was rather short at six episodes, this new iteration more than makes up for it by making fifteen episodes available and allowing fans to see
the characters develop. This release will find a new fan base and hopefully allow AMC to make even more episodes of this immensely sat-
isfying, albeit terrifying, horror genre which I thoroughly recommend.

“Don’t make me angry, you wouldn’t like me when I get angry”, ah yes, that line of dialogue takes me back to
less troubled times and a huge, green, heavily muscled guy taking revenge on the bad guys. What makes if really
fascinating is that a body-builder actor played The Hulk and not a collection of pixels created by CGI in recent
COMPLETE SERIES iterations. This new release from Fabulous Films takes all four series of the original ‘The Incredible Hulk’ now
REMASTERED AND remastered in also available in high definition Blu-Ray and gives a new generation the chance to marvel as mild-
mannered scientist David Banner (Bill Bixby) morphs into his violent alter ego, The Incredible Hulk (Lou Ferrigno),
and storms around smashing everything in sight, but fortunately his aggression is always aimed at the bad guys.

The story: well it concerns the aforementioned scientist, Bruce Banner, getting zapped by radiation which, rather inconveniently, causes
him to transform into the raging green Hulk if he gets annoyed or frustrated. It always made we wonder how his clothes always seemed to
stay more or less attached to him, since the Hulk is more that twice his bulk. This rather splendid, action packed collection, as one would
expect, comes with loads of extras and would make a great Christmas gift for fans of 1980’s Sci-Fi.

Since last month's article, news and media

have reported on a few interesting revela-
tions, some from individuals whose fields of
interest and expertise, lie well outside of
what would be considered ‘Alternative’
ideologies or thinking. Usually, mainstream
media would not provide coverage or detail
on what is, and should be for most people,
alarming and disturbing information origi-
nating from highly respected people hold-
ing positions of political and commercial
prominence, influence and importance.
Searching questioning, theories or inter-
views by those agencies who, 'allegedly'...
dedicate themselves to the provision of
unbiased public information, are normally
never given space or air time.

One of the events reported on was covered

by a variety of sources including an inter-
view on RT’s (Russia Today) 'Breaking the
Set' from three years ago, but which has
only come to the fore through a recent
reposting reaching a much wider public. In
it, former World Bank Senior Council mem-
ber Karen Hudes states; all six major banks
are controlled by one group and they in
turn, are controlled by "Non-humans", a
"second species" she calls them. Here is a
direct quote from her:-

“These countries are not monolithic, there

are forces fighting the corruption and there
are forces that have totally been co-opted,
and the way they act is treasonous to the
people in those countries. The group that’s
behind the network of control are the Jesu-
its, and there are also some groups behind
them. One of these groups are hominids,
they’re not human beings. They are very
smart, they are not creative, they are
mathematical. They had a much stronger
force in the earlier ice-age. They have elon-
gated skulls, they may produce offspring in
mating with female humans, but that off-
spring is not fertile. We live in a world of
secret societies, and secrets, and the infor-
mation that ought to be public is not pub-
lic.”
She has been attempting to bring this, and
further exposure of a vast international
financial criminal corruption to the public's
attention, and it is worth emphasising and
repeating; this is a former member of the
mainstream financial council speaking. It is
also worth pointing out, her information is
totally consistent and confirmative of de-
tails revealed in earlier articles in this maga-
zine. This is a person one would not associ-
ate with Ufology, cryptology, the esoteric,
or any other related areas. Again, the
complete blanket neglect of mainstream
media, in its failure to report or cover in
any way, this lady's explosive and shock-
ing revelations during the intervening
period since her initial interview. It is in-
dicative of the collective conspiracy of
silence and cover up of the media
‘presstitutes’.
Alongside this news was an article from
two years ago entitled; "Paul Hellyer con-
tinues to blow the whistle". Paul Hellyer,
the former Canadian National Defence
minister is quoted as stating; "at least four
alien species have been visiting the Earth
for thousands of years" and went further
saying - “Many are benign and benevo-
lent, and a few are not. They come from

various places, for a long while I only knew
about ones that came from different star
systems, the Pleiades. There are extrater-
restrials that come from Andromeda, and
ones that live on one of Saturn’s moon’s.
There is a federation of these people, and
they have rules, one of them is that they
don’t interfere with our affairs unless they
are invited.
They have accepted the fact that this is our
planet, and we have the right to run it but
they are very concerned, they don’t think
that we are good stewards of our planet.
We are ruining our planet, we’re doing all
sorts of things that we shouldn’t be doing,
and they don’t like that. They’ve made it
clear, and they have given us a warning.”

Again I would emphasise, that this remark-
able statement is coming from what is con-
sidered to be a trusted pillar of the estab-
lishment, and yet again one must ask:- why
does the press keep ignoring him? A fact
often stated in previous articles, is the dan-
gers involved with and for whistleblowers,
endeavouring to expose governmental and
elitist agendas and/or secrets. This was a
danger also highlighted this week by the
reporting of the tragic death of Max Spiers.
Max was a 39 year old investigator and
researcher or as the mainstream press puts
it - a "conspiracy theorist and UFO expert".
Although relatively new to the field of phe-
nomena, he was invited to speak at an
event in the city of Warsaw, Poland, at a
scheduled conference in June. Before he
could give his lecture, he died suddenly,
while spending the night on a recent ac-
quaintances couch. Officially it is stated that
he died of 'natural causes' and this has
been reported as the cause of death with-
out any autopsy having taken place in Po-
land.
This is highly suspicious given his mother
received a text message from him just two
days prior to his demise saying - " Your
boy's in trouble, if something happens to
me, investigate". For once, strangely
enough, reports of this death have ap-
peared in mainstream newspapers, even as
far afield and politically mainstream as 'The
Washington Post', all confirming what
would normally be ignored or if covered at
all, would fall under the heading of 'the
usual conspiracy paranoia' concerning
events surrounding his death. However,
mainstream reports surprisingly furnished
details of the very odd and suspicious cir-
cumstances involved, such as; Max vomit-
ing black liquid just before he died, com-
plaining of headaches and slurring his
speech in an interview a day or two earlier,
even printing that poison may have been
used and most astounding of all... that the
reason behind his death, may have been
linked to the lecture he was scheduled to
deliver in Warsaw. His subject concerned
Satanic child abuse, its links to the 'Presido
Army Base' in San Francisco, its notorious
child day centre, and the ritual abuse case
which took place in 1985 (check out and do
your own research). Max Spiers also stated
that he was a recovering mind control su-
per soldier, he had personally seen under-
ground breeding facilities where females
were used as mass producers of children,
both being victims and used in the tortur-
ous mind control programming of the elites.
Before proceeding further, lets revue what
has been covered in only the last week of
news. Mass mind control, murder, Satan-
ism, sex abuse, government lies and cover
ups, Worldwide control systems, financial
crimes, alien and extraterrestrial visitors,
etc. There were additional reports on vac-
cine cover ups, cancer treatments killing

people, cancer cures, medicinal marijuana,
big pharmaceutical profiteering and many
more, but, not from any conspiracy source,
alternative media, supernatural source, or
Phenomena magazine. This was all reported
in the mainstream press and from 'so
called', reliable sources, and all within just a
few days?
This is where the jigsaw begins to be recog-
nised as one complete picture, and the
Dolphins emerge from concealment within
the coloured kaleidoscope of the seemingly
unrelated collaged cover up. There has
always been people attempting to reveal
the truth of what is really occurring, but
usually the press ignore or sneeringly cover
any such report as lunatic ramblings. There
has always been misinformation flooding
into those areas where true investigative
questioning is occurring, this is to misdirect
and complicate any attempts to uncover
factual evidence and truth. When the
propagandistic press begin to highlight
inconsistencies in official narratives and
speculate or theorise, or on possible hidden
hands being involved at some level, it is also
time to ask the obvious question... why?
In this darkly devious environment, there is
always purpose behind what may at first
appear to be an error of revelation in a
report, or an error of judgment but... the
pre-emptive value of providing examples,
information and indeed warnings, for any-
one who has access to inside information or
knowledge that they may be tempted, or
may not as yet have been tempted to dis-
close, but who can, through the disclosure
provided in the mainstream, be made
aware and therefore dissuaded from, or
encouraged to remain silent when the un-
fortunate fate awaiting those who attempt
this course of exposure or action is revealed
to them. As has been previously expressed
in prior articles in Phenomena Magazine;
ruined careers, family life, reputations,
mental health, death and torture threats to
the person involved and /or family, friends
and relatives and in so many cases too nu-
merous to be counted... mass torture and
death inflicted on all. Even those just unfor-
tunate enough to have been in the wrong
place, on the wrong transport or in the
wrong social circle become expendable
liabilities and 'collateral damage'
Max Spiers death, as it stands, does indeed
give rise to theories of possible cover up
and foul play, as does the now, over two
month delayed report from the pathologist
who carried out the post-mortem on his
body once it arrived back in Britain. There
has been no toxicological examination per-
formed and his Mother is still awaiting an
answer. Anyone who has been following
these articles, will be able to recognise the
connecting points in what has been recently
reported and the information appearing for
the past year in this magazine. Although

this lends credence and validation to the
information in those articles, their content
has been known and written about for
many years (in some cases thousands of
years) prior to this. These were carried out
by a number of people whose often lonely,
emotionally difficult and personally costly
efforts, enlightened and inspired others to
follow their research, work, knowledge
and wisdom. Now, through their own com-
plementary work, others continue adding
to that already vast but sadly, still mainly
unknown and unheard of facts, historical
truths and esoteric knowledge, which, in
reality is not hidden, but does need per-
sonal effort to uncover and make oneself
aware of. It is an unfortunate fact that the
majority of modern mankind are ignorant
of and far too often totally apathetic about
- truth.
Max Spiers
Max Spiers was about to speak on and
reveal information concerning the previ-
ously mentioned 'Presido' child abuse case
and its links to Satanic rituals. Satanism is a
major factor emerging in all cases involv-
ing M.K. programmes and so called Paedo-
philic circles being operated on a local and
a global scale. In the 'Presido' case, Baptist
minister, Gary Hambright was accused of
abusing at least 60 children, aged from 3 to
7, from the families of serving military
personnel over a period of years. Also a
central figure in the accusations was the
camps commanding officer Lt. Col. Michael
Aqueno who always openly admitted to
having been a member of Anton LaVey's
'Church of Satan', and now claimed to be a
High priest of the 'Temple of Set'. He had
built a temple in his and his wife 'Lilith' as
she was named, military accommodation
on the base. Although children were found
to have been infected with STDs and one
later developed then died of H.I.V. Even
with the large number of young victims
testimony and all the other evidence, no
person was charged and the case was dis-
missed.
There are an estimated, quarter of a mil-
lion children going missing each year in
Britain, 800,000 in America, over 100,000
in Germany. It is estimated that at least 8
million children go missing worldwide each
year! There are far too many Satanically
originated, paedophile incidents occurring,
in the past and present, in this country and
globally, on and in a daily basis to possibly
cover in any detail or meaningful manner,
but this must not distract from the

individual horrors being experienced and
perpetrated, nor the true reason and pur-
pose at the root of these diabolic practices,
initiation sacrifices and frenzied feasting.
There are indeed rituals and a price of entry
required by those ruling this planet and its
population, from all and any who aspire to
a position of power or seek inclusion within
their ranks. These are conducted in a man-
ner that, through its very nature and the
ritualistic procedures exposed during them,
is enough to terrify, disgust, dismay and too
often - delight initiates, thus ensuring com-
plete obedience from all involved through
fear and by their active participation in
these cruel activities.
Once again we enter into a world which
would appear, to the great majority, as
some sort of delusional nightmare. Children
suffer from nightmares, in fact; many at this
moment are living in one. Should none seek
understanding, a reason or cause to what
lies beyond or behind their nightmare, an
answer will never emerge and an escape
from their terror will never be found. Disbe-
lieve without due deliberation of the moun-
tain of empirical evidence available, is the
means by which this atrocity continues in
its torment and torture of innocence and
innocents.
There are, as Karen Hudes states, 'creatures
that are not human already here', and as
Paul Hellyer implies; not all are benign or
benevolent. There is a division between
them from an ancient time, one desires to
ingest and posses the energy of the soul
spirit, especially a pre-pubescent child's;
and the other to perhaps assist in enlight-
enment or experience of it. Describing the
manner in which the child is manipulated
into a state of overwhelming terror, which
induces an enormous emotionally charged
energy flowing through their small frame,
how that level is maintained whilst differing
bodily fluids are extracted then ingested,
along with details of the resulting euphoria
induced and experienced by those dimen-
sional demons, Aliens, Archons, or what-
ever name each religion, cult or new age
creed has given them, is far too extreme to
detail and unimaginably horrifying to out-
line without causing great distress and
emotional trauma.
Do not for one moment imagine that this is
some sort of fantasy story or has no factual
base because you have no personal experi-
ence of it and do not know of anyone who
has. It is happening right now in some of
the largest and most prestigious estates,
mansions, castles, palaces, churches,
houses and homes throughout Britain and
the rest of this world on a regular basis and
especially tonight (Samhain, Halloween, All
Hallows Eve etc,) which, synchronistically,
happens to be the very date this is being
written on. Be assured that tonight there
will be even more suffering and pain in this
world than is its usual terrible quota and
will be experienced by those who should
expect and deserve their trust, love,
laughter and innocence, to be fiercely
protected by those charged with their
care rather than being another suffering
sacrifice through apathy and ignorance of
their plight, or through fear of mockery
from others by those who should have
been their guardians.
All forms of fear and other emotive dis-
charges act as a form of sustenance for
entities, dimensional and otherwise to fed
off or utilise for their own ends. One of
the worst, if not the worst problem, in
exposing and therefore enabling in-
creased insight into this, the greatest of all
threats to life on Earth, is the constant
declarations of insight and understanding,
from so many quarters, by those claiming
to know what they are dealing with. Lim-
ited by their ego's, bias, desire for fame,
fascination with fantasy, notoriety or in-
tellectual delusion, they attempt descrip-
tion of that which defies human concep-
tion. As does Quantum science which
emerged in the early part of the nine-
teenth century and perhaps much earlier
but after all this time, as any good quan-
tum physicist will tell you; they don't
know what they are dealing with, only
that the world, as it was once believed to
exist, is no longer possible. We are living
in what can only be described as- a com-
puter simulation, a matrix, as is proven
through many scientific equations and
experimentation to be the only objective
answer possible but... as with all scientific
statements, it should be premised by the
proviso - 'as far as we can know, at this
moment'.
It is not known by or in any scientific,
spiritual or esoteric sense, whether the
phenomena ascribed to and witnessed
within Ufology, Spiritualism and other
paranormal occurrences are differing
experiences emanating or created from
the same source or energy from a variety
of sources. Is a demon an Alien from an-
other world, dimension, or a devils emis-
sary? Is a ghost a residue image, an emo-
tionally entrapped memory or an individu-
ally existing entity? Is a Poltergeist a pu-
berty problem, a personal possession
problem or a dimensional disturbance and
so on? Allowing personal, egotistical ex-
citement or emotional preferences to
sway or dictate opinions leads only to self
deceit, distraction and the distortion of
truth and there are plenty of experts in
these areas, whilst real experts in Quan-
tum fields, Dimensional realms, super-
natural anomalies, paranormal occurrence
are non-existent. Those experiencing phe-
nomena that have even one brain cell
operational, know themselves to be mere
amateurs in answers and are aware that
any or all of these events, very likely have
explanations beyond what may appear at

first, to be the obvious or most appropriate
to a humans mind. In practice, those ex-
periencing phenomena are very aware of
how limited their human reasoning is
when faced with conditions defying all
previous presumptions. It is those con-
stantly claiming to have expertise and/or
complete comprehension of the super-
natural, its creatures, creators and causes,
religious and otherwise, because they have
studied, witnessed, been exposed to, other
-worldly occurrences, these are the true
self-delusional distracters and disinformers
hampering and harming real research and
true understanding.
There are good sensitives, mediums, ex-
periencers, investigators and researchers
amongst the dross and there are many
honest people questioning our 'reality'
who proffer theories, insights, knowledge,
interesting ideas etc., but always open
minded enough to admit their limits, mis-
takes, to being completely wrong and be
grateful when shown it because they won't
continue in error. To be prepared to com-
pletely change or identify any wrong in
their opinions, beliefs or theories in the
pursuit of the Grail known as truth. There
are those who have a knowledge beyond
the amateur but there is very few of them
and even fewer using that knowledge in a
positive manner. Divinity defies definition
and is beyond human cognition.
Satanism, along with a few other descrip-
tions, is but a metaphor being used to
distort the true nature and purpose of the
energetic entities responsible for the en-
slavement of humanity. There was and is a
war being waged between divinity and
demonology but both are mere human
titles inadequately attempting to describe
that which defies description.

Time and again, I have been asked by well-meaning people why I believe individuals who claim to have special psy-
chic and supernatural powers—like psychokinesis, telepathy, remote viewing, astral projection and precognition—
when there is no scientific proof. My answer is simple. Not only have I read about the extraordinary abilities of these
people, as demonstrated before skeptical scientists and investigators and reported in reputable journals, but I have
actually and personally witnessed many of these myself. Among the most highly documented of these psychics was
the Russian psychic Nelya Mikhailova (who changed her name to Nina Kulagina). She showed baffled scientists her
telekinetic ability to move small objects, like cigarettes and matchboxes, with her mind, and without touching them.

These objects were under a glass cover to prevent hidden strings or magnets which she could manipulate from the
outside. I have seen video tapes of Israeli psychic Uri Geller bending metallic spoons with his mind, and without us-
ing physical force, and have read the results of scientific experiments done on him at Stanford Research Institute in
Menlo Park, California.

Laying of hands

Extraordinary spiritual healer Estebani has demonstrated before scientists his ability to accelerate the healing proc-
ess of wounds by simply placing his hands on top of the affected area for a few minutes. I also saw a healer remove
the eyeballs of patients, wash them in a basin of water and return the eyes to their sockets without any harm done.
Among those I had personally witnessed both locally and abroad are the following: In the Philippines, I have seen
Filipino faith healers and psychic surgeons pull out broken pieces of glass, plastic, human hair and even a dead cock-
roach from the bodies of witchcraft victims. I also saw a healer remove the eyeballs of patients, wash them in a ba-
sin of water and return the eyes to their sockets without any harm done.

In Urdaneta, Pangasinan, I saw a well-known female psychic surgeon, Josephine Sison, pull out various veins from
the legs of a foreign patient without removing her stockings. When the healer wiped the blood off the patient’s legs,
I saw her stockings to be intact. Rosita Agaid, another healer from Villasis, Pangasinan, could dip her hand into boil-
ing oil and rub it on a patient’s body without getting hurt or burned. I saw this myself many years ago. In Buenos Ai-
res, Argentina, I saw the mediumistic painter, Luis Gasparetto, paint on canvas the works of the great masters in less
than 10 minutes while in a trance and without using a brush. He uses his hands and sometimes his feet to paint, and
he even signs the paintings in the name of the masters. He claims it is not he who paints them, but the dead masters
themselves using his hands.

Brazilian journalist Elsie Dubugras, whom I met in Brazil, told me she showed the signatures on the paintings to a
forgery expert and said they were genuine signatures of the masters. Cory Quirino was also in Buenos Aires at the
time and I invited her to witness Gasparetto demonstrate his incredible ability. In Dusseldorf, Germany, I witnessed
Israeli psychic Uri Geller demonstrate the germination of radish seeds in his palm by mental power. He held out his
hand with the radish seeds without moving it, while he asked everybody in the audience to mentally command the
seeds to grow. One of them did grow to about an inch in less than two minutes.

It is, of course, possible that I have been deceived, that these demonstrations of so-called psychic powers were
nothing more than clever tricks or sleight-of-hand. Of course, this is possible. But given the circumstances under
which these took place, trickery is an unlikely explanation. It is difficult for the average person to accept such facts
because they cannot be explained by orthodox and materialist science. They are not supposed to happen, but they
obviously do. Saying that there’s no such thing as psychic and paranormal phenomena does not mean they do not
exist. The evidence is just too much to be ignored...

December 11 - Mercury at Greatest Eastern Elongation. The planet Mercury reaches greatest eastern elongation of 20.8 degrees from the
Sun. This is the best time to view Mercury since it will be at its highest point above the horizon in the evening sky. Look for the planet low in
the western sky just after sunset.

December 13, 14 - Geminids Meteor Shower. The Geminids is the king of the meteor showers. It is considered by many to be the best
shower in the heavens, producing up to 120 multicolored meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by debris left behind by an asteroid
known as 3200 Phaethon, which was discovered in 1982. The shower runs annually from December 7-17. It peaks this year on the night of the
13th and morning of the 14th. The nearly full moon will block out many of the fainter meteors this year, but the Geminids are so bright and
numerous that it could still be a good show. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constella-
tion Gemini, but can appear anywhere in the sky.

December 14 - Full Moon, Supermoon. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be will be
fully illuminated. This phase occurs at 00:06 UTC. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Cold Moon because
this is the time of year when the cold winter air settles in and the nights become long and dark. This moon has also been known as the Full
Long Nights Moon and the Moon Before Yule. This is also the last of three supermoons for 2016. The Moon will be at its closest approach to
the Earth and may look slightly larger and brighter than usual.

December 21 - December Solstice. The December solstice occurs at 10:44 UTC. The South Pole of the earth will be tilted toward the Sun,
which will have reached its southernmost position in the sky and will be directly over the Tropic of Capricorn at 23.44 degrees south latitude.
This is the first day of winter (winter solstice) in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of summer (summer solstice) in the Southern
Hemisphere.

December 21, 22 - Ursids Meteor Shower. The Ursids is a minor meteor shower producing about 5-10 meteors per hour. It is
produced by dust grains left behind by comet Tuttle, which was
first discovered in 1790. The shower runs annually from December
17-25. It peaks this year on the the night of the 21st and morning
of the 22nd. The second quarter moon will block many of the
fainter meteors. But if you are patient, you might still be
able to catch a few of the brighter ones. Best viewing will
be just after midnight from a dark location far away from
city lights. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Ursa
Minor, but can appear anywhere in the sky.

December 29 - New Moon. The Moon will located on the

same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in
the night sky. This phase occurs at 06:53 UTC. This is the best
time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies
and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere.

What happens when you take one of the oldest prisons in the United Kingdom, soak it in a bloody
history of torture and execution for a couple hundred years, then open it up for curious paranor-
mal investigators? You get the Shrewsbury Prison, one of the most haunted buildings in the
country.. and they need your help. The Shrewsbury Prison, sometimes referred to as “The Dana”,
was a functioning jail from 1793 to 2013, which means that there’s well-over two centuries of
fear, isolation, and criminal element soaking into the ancient stone walls. After fielding thousands
of strange reports involving paranormal activity, the property owners have recently decided to
allow ghost hunters to investigate the prison in the hopes of understanding why the former
prisoners have refused to leave their cells, even in death. Though the current Shrewsbury Prison
isn’t the original, it was constructed on the exact same spot as the former in 1877. Unfortunately,
the updated building didn’t help with the overcrowding and neglect the original had become
famous for. Executions were not uncommon at the prison, in fact, they had an entire room dedi-
cated to hanging prisoners, all of whom had murdered or raped women. One of the jail’s more
grisly historical details involves the early hanging process, which required someone to stand at
the prisoner’s feet, yanking them down hard so the rope would choke them to death more
quickly. The last execution took place in 1961.
When you consider the amount of suffering that has taken place inside of the Shrewsbury Prison,
its no surprise that the old jail has gained a reputation as one of the scariest buildings in Britain.
Over the years, both prison guards and prisoners alike have reported unexplainable encoun-
ters with the spirits of the Shrewsbury. The ancient Georgian tunnels left over from the jail’s first
incarnation are still located under the building, and have for years been a hotspot of terrifying
activity that ranges everywhere from disembodied voices calling to you from the darkness to full-
blown apparitions with a bad habit of getting physical. For a time in the prison’s history there
occurred a rash of suicides, peaking with as many as three men dead by their own hands in the
span of two weeks. Though the deaths were never associated with the paranormal activity, many
of the prisoners would often whisper about the overwhelmingly oppressive feeling experienced
by those who spent any extended length of time in the jail. In 1896, the Shrewsbury Prison’s
feeling of hopelessness was captured in a poem by A. E. Housman titled A Shropshire Lad, which
follows the midnight thoughts of a man preparing to be hanged in the jail...
On moonlit heath and lonesome bank. The sheep beside me graze; And yon the gallows used to
clank. Fast by the four cross ways. A careless shepherd once would keep. The flocks by moonlight
there, And high amongst the glimmering sheep. The dead man stood on air. They hang us now in
Shrewsbury jail: The whistles blow forlorn, And trains all night groan on the rail. To men that die
at morn. There sleeps in Shrewsbury jail to-night, or wakes, as may betide, a better lad, if things
went right, than most that sleep outside. And naked to the hangman’s noose. The morning clocks
will ring. A neck God made for other use. Than strangling in a string. And sharp the link of life will
snap, and dead on air will stand. Heels that held up as straight a chap. As treads upon the land.
So here I ’ll watch the night and wait. To see the morning shine, when he will hear the stroke of
eight, and not the stroke of nine; And wish my friend as sound a sleep as lads’ I did not know,
that shepherded the moonlit sheep a hundred years ago.
Since its closure in 2008, the jail has become a haven for paranormal investigators hoping to
capture some of the activity that has been reported for over 200 years. Some of the most active
areas of the jail include the Vulnerable Prisoners Wing, the Hanging Room, and of course, the
ancient tunnels that snake under the building. Investigators are experiencing everything from
intelligent responses during EVP sessions to shadow people who can be seen darting back and
forth along the cellblocks in full view of terrified onlookers. Shrewsbury Prison is slated to appear
on the upcoming season of Paranormal Lockdown, during which seasoned ghost hunters Nick
Groff and Katrina Weidman investigate the terrifying location, one that’s never been featured on
an American television program before, for themselves. In fact, Shrewsbury Prison has seen so
few paranormal investigations that the owners of the building are actively asking ghost hunt-
ers to help answer some of the questions about who it is that is haunting their building, and why.
With every group that investigate, the closer the prison comes to solving its haunting mysteries.

Scientists find place on earth where
Gravity hardly exists

The mystery surrounding a strange place on earth where gravity barely exists has finally
been solved by a crack team of scientists. For more than 40 years experts were baffled
by an “anti-gravity zone” surrounding the Hudson Bay are in Canada, with some conspir-
acy theorists even claiming the spot might be a portal into another dimension. Scientists
conducting a global gravity field survey first noticed the strange anomaly in the 1960s
but have been unable to explain why gravity is so much weaker in the Canadian region –
until now. It has been revealed that the Laurentide Ice Sheet, which covered much of
present-day Canada and the northern United States, was so large that it dented the
earth 10,000 years ago, literally bending gravity. The earth is taking a long time to
bounce back, currently it flattens by around half and inch a year, which is minuscule
when compared to the amount of pressure it came under from the monumental ice
sheet, which was 2.3 miles thick. Scientists believe it will be 5,000 years before it has
recovered to a normal level of gravity. Until the deep indentation in the earth is flat-
tened out, gravity in the region will always be less than anywhere else in the world. But
there is also another reason why the Hudson Bay defies the laws of physics – it is a
convection current hot spot. The earth’s mantle, located around 100 miles below the
surface, is a constantly swirling vortex of seething magma and this creates the convec-
tion currents, which drag the continental tectonic plates down. This decreases the mass
in the area and reduces gravity. But the region is also acting as a natural geographical
diet for scores of people who flock to the Hudson Bay in a desperate bid to lose weight.
A lack of gravity means less density and humans weigh less in that part of the world than
they will anywhere else. The bay is the second largest in the world and has an average
depth of 100 metres. Hudson has long fascinated believers in the supernatural, with
many scientists assuming its distinctive shape was formed from tectonic activity, but a
growing school of experts believes it could have come to be because of extraterrestrial
activity. It is likely a massive meteor thundered into the Bay, creating the deep cavern of
anti-gravity activity. It was heavily militarised during the Cold War to watch for potential
Soviet bombing raids coming over the North Pole.

Supernatural Today App. There's a new app out from the guys who brought us Cryptozo-
ology Today and it's another winner. They've basically followed the same format they
used with the cryptozoology app and applied it to a different theme--this time covering
ghosts and hauntings. The app opens to a news feed with stories from around the globe
from various sources. It's easy to just stick to the main page and a couple of people I
spoke with about the app have done just that. But in doing this, they're missing out on a
whole lot more. In the upper left corner of the screen is a drop down menu that will lead
you to a blog list and a sightings map. The blog list will pull up postings from popular
blogs that deal with the supernatural. The map covers the globe and clicking on pegs will
show you what was encountered and where, and of course, there's a hot link to take you
to the full story. Still lacking is any kind of events page to lead people to conferences,
lectures and such, but that may be too difficult to manage, or require a whole app in and
of itself since there's so much happening on a regular basis. Since the app is designated
as part of the "Today" series and they're covering the world of the strange, I would as-
sume we may see a UFO version of the app soon.

Why are ghosts seen to wear
human clothing?

Paranormal enthusiasts often report sighting spirits dressed in Victorian period clothing,
flowing white dresses, or just jeans and t-shirts. Why? If ghosts are, as paranormal investiga-
tors would have us believe, essentially human spirit energy stuck in purgatory between earth
and the great beyond, why do their manifestations include the manufactured convention of
clothing? We consulted paranormal and death experts from around the globe on what ghosts
are wearing these days and why. Putting aside for a moment the (irrelevant) question of
whether or not ghosts exist, let’s focus our metaphysical energies on exploring the latest in
phantasm fashion. Up in Vermont, Betty DuPont, director of Paranormal Investigators of New
England (PI-NE) says she had her first brush with the paranormal while renting a room in an
old Victorian home. After several days of returning from work to strange unexplainable phe-
nomena, she awoke one night to an apparition of a short man in an overcoat standing next to
her bed. As to why an overcoat and not say, lederhosen, DuPont has a theory. "[Ghosts are]
projecting themselves in the way that they last perceived themselves. Even if they burnt in a
fire or they died in surgery, they still appear wearing clothing because that’s how they best
knew themselves," said DuPont. She says ghosts wear neither what they died in nor what they
were buried in. They wear the clothes that feel most closely attached to their identity in life.
DuPont reflected, "the clothing that is coming out now, is going to be what ghosts are wearing
in the future. The designers that are designing now, their designs will live on for eternity." One
such fashion designer, Pia Interlandi, has built a unique career in Melbourne, Australia design-
ing for the dead. Through her practice, Garments for the Grave, she creates custom biode-
gradable burial garments for the deceased and for clients who are preparing for death.
She describes her fashion phi-
losophy as one that, "neither
denies nor flirts with death, but
presents it in a way that invites
observers to view it as natural,
undeniable, inevitable and at
times, beautiful." She began
experimenting with dissolvable
fabrics as a method of exploring
life’s transience and views cloth-
ing as a second skin. Interlandi
investigates the role that fashion
can play at the end of life, but
unfortunately for us, not in the
afterlife. Once the deceased is
buried underground, the gar-
ments break down and become
part of the earth, along with the
naked human form.
Which begs the important question, can ghosts appear naked? Dawn DelCastillo of ANPU, a
small Portland, Oregon team of experienced paranormal researchers, says yes. "Let's say we
have a grieving husband who's wife passed away and they were young and in their sexual
prime. A lot of that sexual energy still lives within him, in the home and carried over with the
wife. If he were to want her to appear to him, and be intimate, and in life she was comfortable
with her body, more than likely she will appear naked. I feel they choose in that moment,"
said DelCastillo.
"The designers that are designing now, their designs will live on for eternity." DelCastillo is a
self-described Daemonolator that practices chaos magick. "Daemonolatry is the practice of
worshiping and working with what Christian's label as demons but that we label as gods/
divine beings, in an everyday way of life," said DelCastillo. "Chaos magick is the creation of
one’s own way of magical working that isn't constrained to one system or pantheon." DelCas-
tillo says she defies many societal norms. She is "highly conservative," but also a lesbian, but
not a feminist. She has a very successful career and insists she’s not one of these "paranormal
dweebs" who "lives in their mother’s basement." Instead, Djinn, Demons, Gods and other
supernatural beings live in her home with her, her partner, and their many animals. Fascinat-
ing. But more importantly, do these supernatural beings have style? "Demons have great
style, they are flashy dressers and like flashy things."
"Absolutely. Demons have great
style, they are flashy dressers and

to a different form on a dime so
why not human spirits? I feel the
same about angels. While I don't
work with them, they are no differ-
ent than demons and probably
have their own sense of fashion as
well," said DelCastillo. Paranormal
investigator Marie Yates has also
seen some shit, but she has a
different theory on incorporeal
fashion. She says she had never
experienced the paranormal until
she started dating her perpetually
haunted husband Jay.
Jay told her he had always attracted the supernatural, but Yates was skeptical. "I felt I had to
see it to believe it," said Yates. During their first month of courtship, Jay was sharing some of
his spectral stories with Yates, when large hunks of meat began flying out of her fridge. A dark
cloud moved over her house and a freaky gargoyle looking thing scampered across her back-
yard. "It was the most chilling experience," said Yates. But creepy spirits couldn’t stand in the
way of true love. They married and started The Crossing Over Paranormal Society (The COPS
crew), an Arizona based team of paranormal investigators exploring "the darkest corners of
the desert Southwest." Yates believes that our clothes take on our emotional energy. "I’m
very fashionable, I love clothes. I mean, if I could shop everyday I would," said Yates. "But
even if you’re not into fashion — we wear these clothes every day through pain, suffering,
happiness, heartache. Some women appear in their wedding dresses because it was one of
the happiest moments of their life." Interesting stuff. So what materials are trending these
days in the realm of the immaterial? Susan Barton, a paranormal investigator in the ethereal
ghost region of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania says she has seen a few clothed apparitions with her
own eyes. Her and her team, After Dark Investigations lead groups most often onto Sachs
Bridge, a historic site haunted by soldiers of the American Civil War.
One night around the anniversary of the Gettysburg battle, she saw what she at first thought
was a Civil War reenactor in a blue union army suit sitting down on the bridge with an old gun.
"He looked like he was in pain and he was dirty. I didn’t know if he was weirdo or whatever so
I walked past him. When I looked back four second later, he was gone," said Barton. That’s
when she realized he was a ghost. Another time, she came upon a little girl in the woods
wearing a 1960s-style dress and digging in the dirt. "It was like a little light yellow shift dress
with pockets," said Barton. She approached the little girl to see if she was okay, but the girl
took off. Barton and her colleague ran after her and then after her footprints, but she disap-
peared. Spooky business. Down in Georgia, Heather Dobson and her team Paranormal Georgia
Investigations want to "ease your fears with fact, not fiction." On her entertaining blog she
describes herself this way: "I wish I was Wonder Woman, but I'm actually a wife, mother of
three little ones, a blogger, a paranormal investigator, and a lunatic." She has mostly seen
"shadow people," dark human figures without distinguishing features, but her team and
clients have seen clothed apparitions. While investigating historic artifacts from the Titanic
exhibit at the Georgia aquarium, Dobson says people spotted ghosts in woolen, tailored suits
characteristic of the early 1900s. She herself smelled the strong scent of old-timey men’s
cologne, despite an absence of male investigators. Although she’s explored the psych ward of
an abandoned Tennessee hospital and numerous haunted houses, Dobson says the scariest
part of her work is not the dead, but the living. "We’ve investigated the homes of some peo-
ple who are just not in their right mind," said Dobson. As for the dead, she believes that ghosts
manifest themselves wearing the clothes they were most comfortable wearing in life. "If I end
up haunting this place, it’s definitely going to be in a t-shirt and jeans," said Dobson.

jury is out on why nebulous spectres of supernatural electromagnetic energy appear in cloth-
ing. We the living have our theories, but nobody can really say for sure. What we do know is
that how we choose to dress is deeply entwined with our sense of identity. And depending on
who you are, that identity might to roam the earth for all of eternity in a pair of baggy sweat-
pants and a ratty t-shirt or fancy shoes and a stylish hat. It’s never too early to start dressing
for the afterlife.
Woman’s Smartphone Sleep App Records Terrifying
“Ghost Voice” Responding to Her Sleep Talking

Sleep apps are a great way to monitor your sleeping habits and make sure that you’re get-
ting a full night’s rest, but when they start recording ghosts talking to you in the wee hours
of the morning, they’ll probably have the opposite effect. That’s what happened to one
woman when she played back her midnight recordings only to hear a ghostly man’s voice
whispering answers to her sleep talking.. and she lives alone. Most sleep apps will start
recording audio the second they hear any kind of movement in the room, that way you’ll
know exactly when your sleeping becomes restless. Unfortunately, sometimes the apps also
record the sounds of ghosts talking to you in your sleep. After discovering something terrify-
ing on the audio playback, a woman named Jenny turned to the internet for help in figuring
out her ghostly problem. Jenny, who who goes by the screen name Redwantsblue80, had
been using a popular app called “Sleep As Android” to help improve her sleep for a month
before it captured anything other than the normal snoring and coughing, but at 2:04AM on
October 30th, the app began to record an unexplainable clicking sound that grew louder and
louder throughout the night. After a few hours of the clicking passed, Jenny’s voice can
clearly be heard asking, “what are you doing?” What she recorded next could send chills
down anyone’s spine. Responding to her sleepy inquiry is very clearly a man’s voice replying
“nothing”. Not only did Jenny have no memory of the event in the morning, she swears
there were no men in the house at the time of the recording. “The clicks become very loud…
and at the very end of the recording you hear the same voice say “That’s them” (I think?). I
am pretty creeped out by this. I don’t remember being awake that night. The only plausible
explanation is that I answered my own sleeping talking but the voice doesn’t even sound like
me or something I could emulate.” – Jenny. As expected, there were more theories tossed
out in her thread than you could shake a stick at, all of which were equally as terrifying as
the next. Many of the readers pointed out that the male voice on the recorder falls into the
95Hz zone, while the posters voice is 265Hz, and that would be pretty much impossible for
her to emulate that vocal tone. “Your voice’s pitch in the question “what are you doing?” is
around 265Hz (C4 in musical notes) and the answerer’s voice seems to be around 95Hz (F#2).
That is relatively low voice for even a man. Unfortunately the recording seems to have
clipped a lot of the lower frequencies, which makes it seem like the “man’s” voice is around
190Hz. But there’s a little hint of the 90Hz tone left, and judging by the upper frequencies
and some test recordings of my own voice (I’m a man) it definitely seems and sounds like a
man to me. If I had a recording of you talking normally and then trying to make a really low
voice I could definitely tell if my theory is true.” Many asked about the possibility of an in-
truder, pointing out that the “clicking” recorded sound more like the someone rummaging
though the posters belongings, and though Jenny agreed that was the most logical explana-
tion, many were still not convinced, as absolutely nothing had been taken from the
house. After months of continued recording, Jenny updated the thread saying there had
been no unexplainable recordings since the original, and that she had decided to move out
and find a new, less creepy, place to live… and after listening to the audio recording I can’t

'Reinforcing Fiction Until It Becomes Fact':
The Truth About Fake Memories

In fitting fashion for the 'post truth' era, researchers have found that almost fifty percent of
people make up their memories. "Sometimes we blur the lines between speculation and imagi-
nation — and people are unaware of how easy that can happen and how we should be more
aware of how fragile our memory is," Dr. Kimberley Wade at the University of Warwick's psy-
chology department told Sputnik. "Our findings build upon what we already know about the
malleability of memory — but it also highlights the problems with some suggestive questions
and techniques." "If you ask someone to repeatedly imagine something has happened, or distin-
guish something that they imagined has happened, then people often speculate over things that
never happened," Dr. Wade told Sputnik. The paper, 'A Mega-analysis of Memory Reports from
Eight Peer-reviewed False Memory Implantation Studies' has been published in the journal
Memory. A team of researchers including Dr. Wade combined data from eight different pub-
lished studies with 400 participants to work out how many people come to generate false
memories. "We found that half of these people came to believe than an event happened, but 30
percent went even further to describe the memory they had. They even elaborate on it and talk
about their emotions, so this is the first time we've been achieved a better understanding of
how these people come to believe in something that never happened." The analysis also sug-
gested that 23 percent showed signs that they had accepted the suggested even to some degree
and believed it really happened. The university of Warwick's findings raise questions about the
authenticity of memories used in forensic investigations, court rooms and in interviews and how
collective memories of a large group of people could be incorrect — due to misinformation in
the news. "People are unaware of how easy that can happen," Dr. Wade told Sputnik. "Beliefs
and attitudes drive our memory distortions," she said.

‘Dead People’

(For those of you already confused, we’re referring to Meat Loaf, the rock singer … not the
savory dish that goes well with mashed potatoes and gravy.) In an interview this week, Meat
Loaf addressed death. Not his own – although he had some things to say about the rumours –
but the ghosts of dead people he claims to see while walking down the street. Any street? I
think if we walked together down a busy street in London, somebody that looked like a nor-
mal person would no doubt pass us, but you might feel a temperature change and a heavy
feeling. It would be a like a weight was on your chest and you’d got tired all of a sudden. If we
turned around at that moment and followed the person who just passed us, he would disap-
pear. By “we” he means Meat Loaf, or at least the half of him that’s left after a major weight
loss due to his own alleged near-death experience in June during a concert in Canada. Meat –
the name he prefers to real name Marvin Lee Aday – has lost 50 pounds since the incident,
even though he claims it had nothing to do with his weight – he collapsed from dehydration.
His diet secret is to only eat some of the things on his plate. How many omissions makes a
good weight loss program? Two out of three ain’t bad. Just kidding. He admits giving half of
what he orders at a restaurant to his second wife. But this story isn’t about what Meat Loaf
eats … it’s about what he sees, like the ghost he encountered in a London hotel. He claims it
came through a wall at 6 am (Meat’s a rock star so he was probably just getting in) and stood
at the edge of the bed. I turned and shouted, ‘HEY HEY HEY’. He never turned and never
looked at me. It wasn’t merely his spirit, it was an energy that was left. He wasn’t ready to die.
He was probably just repeating the same thing over and over again. If it was an intelligent
haunting, he would have turned and stopped. Meat obviously knows his ghosts and is ready
for them – he says he communicates with the dead using a K2 Meter device (a meter that
detects changes in electromagnetic fields (EMF)). His encounters go back at least to when he
recorded “Bat Out of Hell” in 1977 at Cleveland International Records, where he says this
happened: When we were making ‘Bat Out of Hell’ I saw a blonde girl in a white dress. I went
downstairs and told the guys, ‘There’s a groupie up on the balcony,’ and they go, ‘How would
she get up there?’ Everybody went up and no one was there. Meat has had other near-death
experiences – he was in a serious car accident, he was hit on the head with a 12-pound ball
tossed by a shot putter and he suffered from Wolff–Parkinson–White syndrome, a heart
condition that causes a frightening rapid heart rate. Are these real sightings or the drug-
induced memories of a big rock star? Probably a little of both. Whatever the case, at age 69,
Meat Loaf is still here and still seeing ghosts.

to show a UFO soaring through the clouds

A bizarre video appears to show a UFO arriving at earth through a bright blue wormhole - or at
least that's what it looks like. The footage, shot at an unknown location, looks like it shows a
space ship being beamed down to earth via a bright blue tractor beam. It is not known who
shot the weird clip - or what it really shows - but it was first posted on a Spanish Facebook
group. The clip has sparked a debate online as people argue over whether the video is real or
fake, and what it actually has captured. Many have argued that the video is a spoof and that it
was made to attract money through the advertisements that feature before a video on You-
Tube. Others think it could be a natural phenomenon such as lightning. While it is not known
where the shot was captured, Nevada and Arizona are hot-spots for alleged UFO sightings -
leading some conspiracy theorists to suggest a spaceship could have been spotted there. Scott
C Waring from UFO Sightings Daily told the Sun: 'Arizona is a famous hot-spot for UFOs and
Alien bases, so its nice to get this substantial evidence of their existence in that area. 'This is

and a paranormal dragon: The bizarre theories
surrounding 'haunted' ghost village built
as a seaside holiday resort

A spate of suicides, a Dutch graveyard, and a paranormal dragon: this is the story of a doomed
holiday resort which remains shrouded in mystery. The UFO shaped would-be holiday homes
of Sanzhi Pod City were built in New Taipei City, Taiwan, in 1978 as a seaside holiday resort for
US military officers and affluent Taiwanese. But after construction was abandoned in the wake
of several mysterious deaths, the site has become the centre of sinister conspiracy theories
and shot to infamy as a dark tourism attraction. According to locals, a burial ground for Dutch
soldiers lies beneath the futuristic designs. Some of the construction workers claimed they
were haunted by ghosts before the site was abandoned, fuelling a theory the spirits did not
want their resting place to be disturbed. Another theory circulates online that the resort was
haunted by an paranormal ornament of a dragon destroyed during construction. Rumour has
it the large concrete dragon was knocked down to make way for the entrance of the pod city,
thereby cursing the site.

after investment losses by developers Hung Kuo Group and a number of bizarre deaths, in-
cluding several suicides from construction workers with no signs of depression and mysterious
and car accidents. Apparently, these retro futuristic building styles were popular at that time,
but the price was so high that they failed to sell most of the units. The pod resort was knocked
down around 2010 and not a trace of it remains, so the cloud of mystery hanging over the
story will likely never be cleared.

In this, the latest in the Watkins series of ‘What is’ books, we are treated to an explanation of the ancient and mys-
tical practise of numerology. It has been said, rightly, that ‘all is number’ and in one sense this is absolutely correct,
because number is the only true form of Esperanto that exists. However, in this new book the author, a practising
numerologist, begins by explaining how numerology works and leads the reader through the process in an easy to
follow manner. I can guarantee that everyone who opens these pages, whether a sceptic or not, will find them-
selves doing exactly what is set out here, just to see if it is accurate or not.

This includes personality traits, life purpose, character weaknesses, soul vibration and other truly fascinating aspects of the human condi-

'Portraits From Beyond' offers a highly informative and thought provoking insight into the exceptional lives of Eliza-
beth and May Bangs, or the 'Bangs sisters' as they are more commonly known. It is well researched, providing the
reader with an intriguing investigation into the factual and oral evidence of spiritual phenomena, accredited and
ascribed to the sisters. The author utilises numerous fascinating written testimonies taken from witnesses, con-
vinced of the authenticity of the events occurring in their presence, as well as examining the credibility of attempts
to debunk and discredit these same marvels.

A good number of the fascinating spiritual portraits alleged to have been created through astral energies are also included within. For my
own part as the reviewer, I found this book captivating and it formulated many questions in my own mind, including one akin to the au-
thors apt query, i.e.; if they really were fraudulently producing these miraculous effects in front of people in close proximity, why did they
not stop calling themselves mediums, take it on stage, become famous, and make a fortune as mystical magicians? I recommend this book
as a valuable addition for those interested in the complex field of understanding and attempting to unravel the history and mystery of
phenomena and its associated areas.

John Ventre is one of the very few Ufologists who successfully maintain an open mind on the nature of the UFO
phenomenon and its possible causes. In this new book, John presents a very plausible case based on personal ex-
perience, that UFOs and their occupants are not necessarily from other worlds or galaxies, but could also have dis-
tinctly occult and magickal origins. He bases this on a series all too close encounters with a number of entities that
could sit comfortable in either camp. These are views shared by such noted luminaries as the late John Keel and
Jacques Vallee and, as it happens, also with this reviewer.

The author also quotes other paranormal/UFO investigators such as Nick Redfern and mentions the shadowy, quasi-governmental CIA at-
tached group called ‘The Collins Elite’, who came to a very similar conclusion, i.e. that ET’s were almost certainly demonic in nature. John
elaborates on this by listing signs of demonic infestation and also the hierarchy of demons (and angels). Helpfully, he also includes the rite
of exorcism as well. He also shares his timeline of personal haunting by a ghostly ‘something’, that may have had UFO connections and
what he describes is truly alarming. This book may not appeal to the rigid mindset of the die-hard ETH Ufologist and this is a pity, because
in this field of study we need all the support we can get. However, to anyone else with a genuinely enquiring outlook the book, which is
available from www.johnventre.com and Amazon, is truly enlightening and above all entertaining and well worth the purchase price.

 Landing of the ‘merry beings’ in Gidle, Poland: By Piotr Cielebias.

In April 2016 I visited an elderly couple from Gowarzow (pronounced: Gho-vash-

ouv) village the in Radmsko area of Poland who had very interested story to tell.
Gowarzow is a small, quiet community located amongst fields and forests in the
Gidle commune in Central Poland. Neighboring Gidle village is famous from a
Marian sanctuary with a miraculous stone figure, that, centuries ago, was found
in a field by a local farmer.
But Mr. and Mrs. R., now both in their seventies had an even more miraculous
story to tell. The sighting occurred on January 10th 2011. The couple was return-
ing home at about 9 pm from a visit to their severely ill relative living several
houses away. The witnesses recalled that the main road was empty and all the
inhabitants were in their houses because the winter night was cold but very
calm, without any wind, snow and ice.
At about 9:10, R’s saw a blood-red spherical object coming out of the western
sky. They observed the UFO descending on to their neighbor’s field, about 300m
from their house. When they arrived at the location they clearly saw the strange
object standing on the field behind a barn of their neighbor. Mr. R. who was the
main witness in this incident said that at that moment his frightened wife went
inside and he decided to examine the strange sighting from afar. It was about
9:20 pm when he began his observation of one of the strangest UFO landings
I’ve ever heard of. Mr. R was observing the object standing near the barn on his
lot. Although the UFO landed about 300 m away, it was clearly visible.
The object was blood-red, spherical and about 5-6 m in diameter. Around the
UFO there were at least 3 ‘small people’ visible. It seemed that they stood on a
sort of platform around the object and were bustling around. There were also
three ‘shafts of light’ 2-3 m long, protruding from the top of the sphere. Mr. R. -
a man of sharp mind and a very reliable observer stressed that the beings
around the object must be very small, just around 0.6 m tall. He said that they
looked like excited children and were “joyfully” moving around the object. He
was unfortunately too far away to recognize any features of the midget-like
beings and Mr. R decided not to approach the scene any closer.
But the most interesting aspect of the Gowarzow landing is the sound accompa-
nying the landing. Mr. R. is sure that he could hear the “voices” of the beings.
Their speech must have been very loud and intensive and resembled “excited
talk”, although he couldn’t recognize any details or words. After about 10 min-
utes the beings “disappeared” in some unknown way as well as the bright shafts
of light. The ball - according to Mr. R. jumped up and down twice and then shot
upwards disappearing off to the west.
On the next day Mr. R and his neighbor examined the place of the alleged land-
ing. The object must have stood on or was hovering over a small field between a
grove of trees and a small pond. The grove of trees is close to a barn of Mr.R.’s
neighbor, who unfortunately saw nothing strange on that day (the barn ob-
scures the view from his house). There were no traces left by the UFO or the
beings.
Mr. R. tried to discuss the encounter with his neighbors but it seems that he and
his wife were the only witnesses to the UFO landing in the field. Several days
after the incident Mrs. R. asked the local priest what the object could have
been? The priest had no idea. Five years after the incident the landing site has
changed dramatically. The pond had dried up and the shrubs had grown block-
ing the view on the landing site from Mr. R’s lot. Mr. R is still puzzled by the
incident and asked himself: “Why did the small people seem to be so happy?”
