Programme students enjoy both the freedom and bear the responsibility of
studying a course that emphasizes on independence and self-reliance.

Academic Honesty is an essential aspect of teaching and learning in the 1B DP

where assessments/ assignments are based on inquiry, research and reflection.

As an IB Diploma Programme student, I recognize that:

The work or ideas of another person, if incorporated in my work, must be
acknowledged using a recognized convention of citation
The acknowledgement of sources is a standard academic practice that must
be observed.

The same piece of work cannot be submitted for different aspects of

assessment.

I must not give my own work to another IB student knowing that it will be
submitted for assessment as the work of that student.

That apart from collaborative work specified by the lB or a teacher,

producing an assignment with another person is collusion and therefore a form
of academic misconduct.

I must not attempt to gain or offer to another candidate an unfair advantage

in any aspect of assessment.

All work that I submit for assessment must be authentic and failing to sign a
declaration to this effect may result in my work not being assessed.
I t is breach of
a
regulationsto give or receive confidential information about

material into an examination.
