Functions: Present Perfect Tense
Learn about the language: We use the present perfect simple to talk about life
experiences. We form the present perfect using the auxiliary verb to have + the past
participle on the main verb.
• You have painted the house.
• I have eaten taquitos.
We form the third person singular of the present perfect using the auxiliary verb has +
the past participle of the main verb.
• Helen has cleaned the kitchen.
• He has visited his family.
