ِ‫ﺑِﺴْﻢِ ﷲﱠِ اﻟﺮﱠﺣْﻤَٰﻦِ اﻟﺮﱠﺣِﯿﻢ‬

30 Beautiful Dua's with their meanings.

Dua 1
ٍ‫ ﯾَﺎ ﺣَﻲﱡ ﯾَﺎ ﻗَﯿﱡﻮمُ ﺑِﺮَﺣْﻤَﺘِﻚَ أَﺳْﺘَﻐِﯿﺚُ أَﺻْﻠِﺢْ ﻟِﻲ ﺷَﺄْﻧِﻲ ﻛُﻠﱠﮫُ وَﻻَ ﺗَﻜِﻠْﻨِﻲ إِﻟَﻰ ﻧَﻔْﺴِﻲ طَﺮْﻓَﺔَ ﻋَﯿْﻦ‬Я

O Ever Living One, O Eternal One, by Your mercy, I call on You to set
right all my affairs. Do not place me in charge of my soul even for the
blinking of an eye (i.e. a moment).

Dua 2
‫أَﻧْﺖَ وَﻟِﯿﱡﮭَﺎ وَﻣَﻮْﻻَھَﺎ‬، ‫ وَزَﻛﱢﮭﺎ أَﻧْﺖَ ﺧَﯿْﺮُ ﻣَﻦْ زَﻛﱠﺎھَﺎ‬، ‫ اَﻟﻠّٰﮭُﻢﱠ آتِ ﻧَﻔْﺴِﻲ ﺗَﻘْﻮَاھَﺎ‬Я

O Allah, grant my soul its piety and purify it, for You are the best to
purify it. You are its protector and guardian.

Dua 3
ِ‫ اَﻟﻠّٰﮭُﻢﱠ اِﻧﱢﯽْ اَﻋُﻮْذُﺑِﻚَ ﻣِﻦْ ﻣُﻨْﻜَﺮَاتِ اﻻَْﺧْﻼَقِ وَاﻻَْﻋْﻤَﺎلِ وَاﻻَْھْﻮَاء‬Я

O Allah! I seek refuge in You from a bad character and bad actions
and bad desires.

Dua 4
ُ‫ اَﻟﻠّٰﮭُﻢﱠ اِﻧﱢﯽْ اَﻋُﻮْذُﺑِﻚَ اَنْ اُﺷْﺮِكَ ﺑِﻚَ وَ اَﻧَﺎ اَﻋْﻠَﻢُ وَ اَﺳْﺘَﻐْﻔِﺮُكَ ﻟِﻤَﺎ ﻻَ اَﻋْﻠَﻢ‬Я

O Allah, I seek refuge in You lest I associate anything with You

knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I know not.

Dua 5
‫ ﺑِﺴْﻢِ ﷲِ اﻟﱠﺬِي ﻻَ ﯾَﻀُﺮﱡ ﻣَﻊَ اﺳْﻤِﮫِ ﺷَﻲْءٌ ﻓِﻲ اﻷَْرْضِ وَﻻَ ﻓِﻲ اﻟﺴﱠﻤَﺎءِ وَھُﻮَ اﻟﺴﱠﻤِﯿﻊُ اﻟْﻌَﻠِﯿ ُﻢ‬Я

In the Name of Allah, Who with His Name nothing can cause harm
in the earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the
All-Knowing.

Dua 6
ِ‫ اَﻟﻠّٰﮭُﻢﱠ ﻓَﻘﱢﮭْﻨِﯽْ ﻓِﯽ اﻟﺪﱢﯾْﻦ‬Я

O Allah! Grant me the understanding of Deen.

 Dua 7
ْ‫ وَأَﻏْﻨِـﻨﻲ ﺑِﻔَﻀْـﻠِﻚَ ﻋَﻤﱠـﻦْ ﺳِﻮَاك‬،َ‫ اَﻟﻠّٰﮭُﻢﱠ اﻛْﻔِـﻨﻲ ﺑِﺤَﻼﻟِـﻚَ ﻋَﻦْ ﺣَـﺮَاﻣِـﻚ‬Я

O Allaah! Provide me with lawful (Halal) livelihood, adequate to

my needs instead of the unlawful (Haram), and make me suffice with Your
graces needing nothing from anyone else.

Dua 8
ُ‫ وَأَوﱠﻟَﮫُ وَآﺧِﺮَهُ وَﻋَﻼَﻧِﯿَﺘَﮫُ وَﺳِﺮﱠه‬،ُ‫ دِﻗﱠﮫُ وَﺟِﻠﱠﮫ‬،ُ‫ اَﻟﻠّٰﮭُﻢﱠ اﻏْﻔِﺮْ ﻟِﻲ ذَﻧْﺒِﻲ ﻛُﻠﱠﮫ‬Я

O Allah! Forgive me all my sins, great and small, the first and the
last, those that are apparent and those that are hidden.

Dua 9
َ‫ رﱠبﱢ اﻏْﻔِﺮْ وَارْﺣَﻢْ وَأَﻧﺖَ ﺧَﯿْﺮُ اﻟﺮﱠاﺣِﻤِﯿﻦ‬Я

My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of those
who show mercy!

Dua 10
ْ‫ وَأَﻋُﻮذُ ﺑِﻚَ ﻣِﻦَ اﻟﻨﱠﺎرِ وَﻣَﺎ ﻗَﺮﱠبَ إِﻟَﯿْﮭَﺎ ﻣِﻦ‬،ٍ‫ وَﻣَﺎ ﻗَﺮﱠبَ إِﻟَﯿْﮭَﺎ ﻣِﻦْ ﻗَﻮْلٍ أَوْ ﻋَﻤَﻞ‬،َ‫ اَﻟﻠّٰﮭُﻢﱠ إِﻧﱢﻲ أَﺳْﺄَﻟُﻚَ اﻟْﺠَﻨﱠﺔ‬Я
ٍ‫ﻗَﻮْلٍ أَوْ ﻋَﻤَﻞ‬

O Allaah, I ask of You for Paradise and that which brings me closer
to it of statements or actions. And I seek refuge with You from the Hellfire
and that which takes me closer to it of statements or actions.

Dua 11
ُ‫ اَﻟﻠﱠﮭُﻢﱠ إِﻧﱢﻰ أَﻋُﻮذُﺑِﻚَ ﻣِﻦْ ﻋِﻠْﻢٍِ ﻻﱠﯾَﻨْﻔَﻊُ وَﻣِﻦْ ﻗَﻠْﺐٍِ ﻻﱠﯾَﺨْﺸَﻊُ وَﻣِﻦْ ﻧَﻔْﺲٍِ ﻻﱠ ﺗَﺸْﺒَﻊُ وَﻣِﻦْ دَﻋْﻮَةٍِ ﻻﱠ ﯾُﺴْﺘَﺠَﺎب‬Я
‫ﻟَﮭَﺎ‬

O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the knowledge which is not

beneficial, and from a heart which does not fear (You), and from desire
which is not satisfied, and from prayer which is not answered.

Dua 12
‫ اَﻟﻠﱠﮭُﻢﱠ إِﻧﱢﻲ أَﺳْﺄَﻟُﻚَ اﻟْﮭُﺪَى وَاﻟﺘﱡﻘَﻰ وَاﻟْﻌَﻔَﺎفَ وَاﻟْﻐِﻨَﻰ‬Я

O Allah ! I ask You for guidance, piety, safety and well-being, and
contentment and sufficiency.
 Dua 13
َ‫ ﯾَﺎ ﻣُﻘَﻠﱢﺐَ اﻟْﻘُﻠُﻮبِ ﺛَﺒﱢﺖْ ﻗَﻠْﺒِﻰ ﻋَﻠَﻰ دِﯾﻨِﻚ‬Я

Oh Turner of the hearts (Allah, the Most High), keep our hearts firm
on your religion.

Dua 14
َ‫ رَبﱢ ھَﺐْ ﻟِﻲ ﻣِﻦَ ٱﻟﺼﱠـٰﻠِﺤِﯿﻦ‬Я

My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous.

Dua 15
ِ‫ رَبﱢ اﺟْﻌَﻠْﻨِﻲ ﻣُﻘِﯿﻢَ اﻟﺼﱠﻼَةِ وَﻣِﻦ ذُرﱢﯾﱠﺘِﻲ ۚ رَﺑﱠﻨَﺎ وَﺗَﻘَﺒﱠﻞْ دُﻋَﺂء‬Я

O my Lord ! make me one who establishes regular prayer and (also)

from my offspring, our Lord! and accept my prayer.

Dua 16

ِ‫ رَبﱢ اﺑْﻦِ ﻟِﻲ ﻋِﻨﺪَكَ ﺑَﯿْﺘًﺎ ﻓِﻲ اﻟْﺠَﻨﱠﺔ‬Я

_ Rabbi ibni lee ‘indaka baytan fil jannati_

My Lord, build for me, near You, a house in Paradise

DUA 17

‫ رَﺑﱠﻨَﺎ اﻏْﻔِﺮْ ﻟِﻲ وَﻟِﻮَاﻟِﺪَيﱠ وَﻟِﻠْﻤُﺆْﻣِﻨِﯿﻦَ ﯾَﻮْمَ ﯾَﻘُﻮمُ اﻟْﺤِﺴَﺎب‬Я

_Rabbanaghfir lee waliwaalidayya walilmu’mineena yawma

yaqoomul-hisaab_

Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents and the believers on the Day
when the account will be established.
 DUA 18

َ‫ رَبﱢ ﻧَﺠﱢﻨِﻲ ﻣِﻦَ اﻟْﻘَﻮْمِ ٱﻟﻈﱠـٰﻠِﻤِﯿﻦ‬Я

_ Rabbi najjinee minal-qawmidh–dhaalimeen._

My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people.

DUA 19

ٌ‫ رَبﱢ إِﻧﱢﻲ ﻟِﻤَﺎ أَﻧﺰَﻟْﺖَ إِﻟَﻲﱠ ﻣِﻦْ ﺧَﯿْﺮٍ ﻓَﻘِﯿﺮ‬Я

_ Rabbi Innee Limaaa Anzalta Ilayya Min Khayrin Faqeer_

O Lord, verily I have need of what You have sent me of the good.

DUA 20

َ‫ اَﻟﻠﱠﮭُﻢﱠ أَﻋِﻨﱢﻲْ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ذِﻛْﺮِكَ وَﺷُﻜْﺮِكَ وَﺣُﺴْﻦِ ﻋِﺒَﺎدَﺗِﻚ‬Я

_ Allaahumma a’innee alaa thikrika, wa shukrika, wahusni ‘ibaadatik_

O Allah, help me to remember You, to THANK You, and to

perform Your worship in the best manner.

Dua 21

ً‫ اَﻟﻠّٰﮭُﻢﱠ اِﻧﱢﯽْ اَﺳْﺌَﻠُﮏَ ﻋِﻠْﻤًﺎ ﻧﱠﺎﻓِﻌًﺎ وَرِزْﻗًﺎ طَﯿﱢﺒًﺎ وَﻋَﻤَﻼً ﻣﱡﺘَﻘَﺒﱠﻼ‬Я

_ Allaahumma ‘innee ‘as’aluka ‘ilman naafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban,

wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan._

O Allah, I ask You for KNOWLEDGE that is of benefit, a good

PROVISION, and DEEDS that will be accepted

DUA 22

َ‫ اَﻟﻠّٰﮭُﻢﱠ اِﻧﱢﯽْ اَﻋُﻮْذُﺑِﻚَ ﻣِﻦْ زَوَالِ ﻧِﻌْﻤَﺘِﻚَ وَﺗَﺤَﻮﱡلِ ﻋَﺎﻓِﯿَﺘِﻚَ وَ ﻓُﺠَﺎﺋَﺔِ ﻧِﻘْﻤَﺘِﻚَ وَﺟَﻤِﯿْﻊِ ﺳَﺨَﻄِﻚ‬Я
_"Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matika, wa tahawwuli
'afiyatika, wa fuja'ati niqmatika, wa jami'i sakhatika_
 O Allah! I seek refuge in You against the declining of Your Favours,
passing of safety, the suddenness of Your punishment and all that which
displeases You

DUA 23

ُ‫ رَﺑﱠﻨَﺎ ﻻَ ﺗُﺰِغْ ﻗُﻠُﻮﺑَﻨَﺎ ﺑَﻌْﺪَ إِذْ ھَﺪَﯾْﺘَﻨَﺎ وَھَﺐْ ﻟَﻨَﺎ ﻣِﻦ ﻟﱠﺪُﻧْﻚَ رَﺣْﻤَﺔً إِﻧﱠﻚَ أَﻧْﺖَ اﻟْﻮَھﱠﺎب‬Я

_Rabbanaa Laa Tuzigh Quloobanaa Ba’-Da Id’hadaytanaa Wa Hab

Lanaa Mil Ladunka Rah’mah Innaka Antal Wahhaab._

Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and
grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.

Dua 24

ِ‫ﺣَﺴْﺒِﻲَ ﷲﱠُ ﻻَ إِﻟَٰﮫَ إِﻻﱠ ھُﻮَ ﻋَﻠَﯿْﮫِ ﺗَﻮَﻛﱠﻠْﺖُ وَھُﻮَ رَبﱡ اﻟْﻌَﺮْشِ اﻟْﻌَﻈِﯿﻢ‬Я

_H’asbiyallaahu Laaa Ilaaha Illaa – Huwa A’layhi Tawakkaltu Wa

Huwa Rabbul A’rshil A’z’eem_

Sufficient for me is Allah ; there is no deity except Him. On Him I

have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.

DUA 25
‫ رﱠبﱢ أَدْﺧِﻠْﻨِﻲ ﻣُﺪْﺧَﻞَ ﺻِﺪْقٍ وَأَﺧْﺮِﺟْﻨِﻲ ﻣُﺨْﺮَجَ ﺻِﺪْقٍ وَاﺟْﻌَﻞ ﻟﱢﻲ ﻣِﻦ ﻟﱠﺪُﻧﻚَ ﺳُﻠْﻄَـٰﻨًﺎ ﻧﱠﺼِﯿﺮًا‬Я

_Rabbi adkhilnee mudkhala sidqin wa akhrijnee mukhraja sidqin waj’

al lee min ladunka sultaanan-naseeraa_

My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and cause me to exit

a sound exit and And grant me from Yourself an authority to help me

Dua 26

ُ‫ رﱠﺑﱠﻨَﺎ ﻋَﻠَﯿْﻚَ ﺗَﻮَﻛﱠﻠْﻨَﺎ وَإِﻟَﯿْﻚَ أَﻧَﺒْﻨَﺎ وَإِﻟَﯿْﻚَ اﻟْﻤَﺼِﯿﺮ‬Я

 _Rabbanaa A’layka Tawakkalnaa Wa Ilayka Anabnaa Wa Ilaykal Mas’
eer_

O our Lord, we put our trust in You, and we turn repentant to You,
and to You is our final returning.

DUA 27

ِ‫ ﺳُﺒْﺤَﺎنَ ﷲ وَﺑِﺤَﻤْﺪِهِ ﻋَﺪَدَ ﺧَﻠْﻘِﮫِ وَرِﺿٰﯽ ﻧَﻔْﺴِﮫِ وَزِﻧَﺔَ ﻋَﺮْﺷِﮫِ وَ ﻣِﺪَادَ ﮐَﻠِﻤَﺎﺗِﮫ‬Я

_Sub'han-Allahi wa bihamdihi, 'adada khalqihi, wa rida nafsihi, wa

zinatah 'arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi_

Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many
times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good
Pleasure, equal to the weight of His Throne and equal to the ink that may
be used in recording the words (for His Praise).

DUA 28

َ‫ رَﺑﱠﻨَﺎ ظَﻠَﻤْﻨَﺎ أَﻧﻔُﺴَﻨَﺎ وَإِن ﻟﱠﻢْ ﺗَﻐْﻔِﺮْ ﻟَﻨَﺎ وَﺗَﺮْﺣَﻤْﻨَﺎ ﻟَﻨَﻜُﻮﻧَﻦﱠ ﻣِﻦَ ٱﻟْﺨَـٰﺴِﺮِﯾﻦ‬Я

_Rabbanaa dhalamnaa anfusanaa wa-in lam taghfirlanaa watarhamnaa

lanakoonanna minal khaasireen_

Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us

and have mercy upon us we will surely be among the losers.

DUA 29

َ‫ ﻻﱠ إِﻟَٰﮫَ إِﻻﱠ أَﻧﺖَ ﺳُﺒْﺤَﺎﻧَﻚَ إِﻧﱢﻲ ﻛُﻨﺖُ ﻣِﻦَ ٱﻟﻈﱠـٰﻠِﻤِﯿﻦ‬Я

_ Laa ilaaha illaa anta subhaanaka innee kuntu minadh–dhaalimeen._

There is no god except You; Glory be to You! Indeed, I have been of

the wrongdoers.
 DUA 30

ً‫ وَأَﻧْﺖَ ﺗَﺠْـﻌَﻞُ اﻟْﺤَﺰْنَ إِذَا ﺷِـﺌْﺖَ ﺳَﮭْـﻼ‬،ً‫ اَﻟﻠّﮭُـﻢﱠ ﻻَ ﺳَـﮭْﻞَ إِﻻﱠ ﻣَﺎ ﺟَﻌَﻠْـﺘَﮫُ ﺳَﮭْـﻼ‬Я

_ Allaahumma laa sahla ‘illaa maa ja’altahu sahlan wa ‘Anta taj’

alul-hazna ‘ithaa shi’ta sahlan_

O Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy. If You
please You ease sorrow .

Those who want to memorise , may Allah make it easy for them.
