20 EQUIPMENTS OF SWIMMING

1. AQUA JOGGER
Aqua jogging, aka deep water running, is a form of cardiovascular exercise that the motion of jogging while submerged in water.
You can do aqua jogging by running laps in the pool or wearing a flotation device around your trunk and running in place..

2. EAR PLUGS
Swimming earplugs are specially designed to prevent water intrusion in the ear canal which can often lead to infection while
swimming by the sea or in the pool. Swimmers Ear, also referred to as Otitis Externa, is a painful infection caused by swimming
for long periods of time and can result in a hearing loss.

3. WATER DUMBBELLS
Water dumbbells are made of buoyant foam that increases the resistance of body movement in the pool water. Unlike regular
fitness dumbbells that are heavy and provide low resistance, water weights are very light and provide upward resistance. You’ll
have to work hard to keep the weights submerged throughout the exercise movements.

4. HAND PADDLES
Hand paddles are most commonly used for swimmers looking to develop their upper body strength as they work the muscles in
the back, chest, arms and shoulders. They do this by stopping the water from flowing through your fingers, allowing you to
perform your arm pull with more power.

5. POOL NOODLE
Pool noodle are useful when learning to swim, for floating, for rescue reaching, in various forms of water play, and for aquatic
exercise

6. SWIM GLOVES
Swim gloves look and fit like a glove, but feature webbing between each finger to really help grab the water with each stroke.
Because of their softer, more flexible nature, you still get a lot of natural mobility in your hands while pulling.

7. STRETCH CORDS
Stretch cords are a varsatile linderrated tool to user for developing strength and technique in the water .

8. NOSE CLIP
Nose clips can help you stay underwater longer, control your breathing,and keep water out of your nose.

9.ARM BAND
Inflatable armbands, usually referred to as simply armbands, water wings, swimmies, or floaties, are swim aids designed to help a
wearer float in water and learn to swim.

10.FOREARM FULCRUM
The Forearm Fulcrums develop an early vertical forearm (EVF) position and increase stroke efficiency. An EVF position utilizes
the entire forearm during the pull, from fingertips to elbow. The Forearm Fulcrums promote stroke refinement through muscle
memory of proper hand, wrist and forearm position.

11 PARACHUTE
A swim parachute is a training aid that is attached to your waist held in place by an adjustable velcro strap. The strap tails behind
you dragging a small fabric parachute behind your kicking feet. In some ways it functions in the same way as swimming in lose
clothing increasing your resistance through the water.

12 FLOAT BELT
A piece of equipment, usually a ring filled with air or light material that floats, designed to help you float if you fall into water.

13 PULL BOUY
What is a Pull Buoy? A pull buoy is a foam buoy that is designed to provide extra buoyancy in the hips and force swimmers to
focus on the pulling motion of their swimming. Pull buoys are excellent for upper body training, reinforcing better body position,
and mixing things up in swimming workouts.

14 FINS
Swim fins to increase their speed through the water, helping to improve their posture and keeping their hips high in the water.
Using fins in this way helps you to focus on a particular aspect of your stroke such as hand position

15 KICK BOARD
Kickboard supports your arms and upper body, letting them rest so you can devote your focus and energy to training your leg
technique. When you’re swimming normally, the motion of your arms helps to keep your upper body afloat

16 GOGGLES
Swimming goggles are two pieces of clear plastic with rubber or silicone rims held snugly to the head with a band of rubber. This
forms a tight seal around the eyes, preventing water from coming into contact with them.
