    What is acting:

    Acting is when you have a person playing a different imaginary character and living this character using
    different elements and techniques to let people feel it real.
    Constantine Stanislavsky is the father of modern acting and he wrote an imp book and invented different
    techniques so that acting be real.

    Techniques of acting:
    Objective every actor has to know his
    objective(goal), Objective is what the
    character wants in the scene.
    Subtext: it is the real meaning of the lines, it
    is according to the intention, the character
    should analyze the subtext and not his text.
    Magic If: the director give the character a
    situation, what if the character was in this
    situation what he will do.
    Emotional Memory: it is going back to go to
    place where you had an emotional memory.
    Sensory Memory: it is where you remember
    according to the 5 senses and these senses
    will help the character to receive this
    emotion.
    tools and instruments
    of the actor:
    physiological tools:
    body and voice(the
    pitch, tone,
    characteristics of the
    voice)
    psychological tools:
    imagination/mind:
    1-the actor needs to
    imagine well the
    environment
    surroundings time and
    place, they need to
    believe that.
    2-believe/imagine
    that you are the
    character.
    3-how creative the
    actor is in making this
    character interesting
    and real.
    4-displant they
    should be on time
    work with others... the
    actor is working with
    everybody else so
    there is a limit.
    Actor's Approach:
    objective
    research
    readint the script and analyze it
    finding the objective
    finding the tactics for the objective
    research

    Actors Routine:
    Auditions: when the actors are being tested to be picked, the actor shows his skills
    it is the technical term used in theatre it is the process where actors present a scene monologue (audition
    monologue), so the director sees there acting and chose. the actor fills a sheet, if the director liked the actor
    they call back the actor and now they give them a part of the script so the test them again.
    Rehearsals: repetition, the actor analyze read research, the find the objective then find the tactics then they
    memorize the lines and blocking (movement on the stage) the last week is called tech week.
    Performances: the actor play out the character in the theme of the play
