1 How to get time to distention and fuel remaining or any other airport or waypoint?
A. VNAV CRZ page 2/3, or
B. Legs last page and
C. RTE DATA selected or
D. Progress page 3/4.
2 How to get long and lat for a fix or point or VOR and ILS identifier?
A. INIT REF then Index then - NAV DATA and then go to L1 and type the required.
3 How to get wind and outside temp?
A. Progress page 2/4, Wind velocity and Sat. or on Position report page - Wind velocity and OAT in degrees.
4 How to get the actual time from the FMC?
INIT REF then Index then position 1/3
5 How to get the ground speed from the FMC?
6 How to hold at the fix or waypoint?
-if the FIX or the point is a part of the leg just select IT in the S/P .
-select HOLD CDU KEY if there is any programmed holding it will show then select next hold enter the fix or the point in 6L BOX
then modify as required . then EXEC.
-If the fix or the point not on the leg,
-Select the fix or the point in the leg then EXEC ,Select the point in S/P then
Follow the steps above
7 How to crate abeam a fix or a point?
A-If the point in the leg , select it in S/P then put in L1 .
ABEAM PTS R4 PUSH then EXEC.
B-if the point not in the leg then select the required point in the FIX page the select
ABEAM PROMT then select the abeam prompt in the S/P then
Insert it in the leg page the EXEC.
8 How to go offset route?
Select RTE CDU KEY. Type L or R followed by miles (L6 or R6 ) then insert R6 EXEC.
NOTE : MUST BE NO ON SID , STAR , HOLDING AND NOT MORE THAN 99 MILES.
9 How to cancel the offset?
Enter 0 in R6 or DEL.
10 How to know exact altitude for waypoint if it is OBROD 4000A or 4000B?
Select the point from the leg in S/P the insert in PROG PAGE RTA.3/3 . R1 BOX.
or by selecting DEL altitude without EXEC
11 How to get TOC and TOD?
TOC shows In PROG PAGE
TOD displayed on PROG PAGE or VNAV CRZ PAGE when TOD within 200 miles of descend.
12 How to calculate the VRF?
Check remaining fuel at destination from CRZ or PROG page then
Subtract the remaining fuel from the actual fuel then
select INT REF CDU KEY  ENDEX  APPROACH L1 then
Subtract the same amount from the actual weight in APPROACH REF PAGE then
Read the VRF for the required flaps and SET IN R4
13 How to extend final?
Select DEP/ARR page then
Select The RWY approach type then select R6 then EXEC. Or
Select DEP/ARR page then
Select The RWY approach type then select leg page then
Select from which point to extend the set that point in L1 check and modify R6.
Then EXEC.
14 How to create a time in FMC?
Select FIX page then Wright the requested time followed by Z (1215Z) then insert in R6
15 How to know the ETA to direct point without execute?
Select the requested point in L1 then select LEG CDU KEY to Display RTE DATA the select RTE DATA R6.
16 How to require time of arrival RTA?
Cross TASPA time 1210 or before, or 1210 or after?
Select TASPA in S/P then select PRG PAGE 3/3 to get RTA PAGE
Type the time in RTA to get the speed
17 How to know bearing and distance for a NAV or FIX or point to And to make a circle?

IF THE LEG shows TASPA KIA OERK and you want to make discontinuity between KIA and OERK then you select KIA and insert
on top of OERK EXEC.
