Call For Clients

Process Overview At a Glance

Step 0: Post Call for Clients Post (Content)

Step 1: Reply to Comments (Comments)
Step 2: Send Initial Personal Message
Step 3: Ask Probing Questions (Conversation)
Step 4: Transition To Next Steps Call (Calendar)
Step 5: Follow Up If The Prospect Ghosts

Step 0: Post Call for Clients Post

NOTE: Make the ‘call for clients’ post on your Personal Profile, Story, Instagram, Email or even
Facebook Groups that you own or are part of (wherever you get the most engagement from
potential clients).

This tool will get you phone calls, out in front, and generate awareness. Do this even if you don’t
have a solid audience. You can always do it again and even if it doesn't get traction it will show
your audience that you're starting out and doing a thing.

I still do this every 2-3 months.

Elements of a good call for clients include…
● Desire - Tangible outcome with a clear # or goal
● Scarcity - Limited # of people
● Time Frame - Short timeframe (<7 days and preferably 2-3 days)

Example Post:
Framework -> I’m looking for [X type of client] that wants [Y result] in [Z time]

You can be generic like -

Looking for 3 more local businesses that want 20-30 leads in 5 days or less
Looking for 1 more local businesses that want 3-5 customers in 3 days or less
Looking for 6 more local businesses that want 20-30 reviews in 7 days or less
Looking for 6 more local businesses that want 20-30 old customers coming back again in 7 days
or less

OR

You can be specific like

Looking for 2 more gyms that want 20-30 sign ups in 5 days or less
Looking for 4 chiropractors that want 4-5 patients in 3 days or less
Looking for 3 dentists that want 10 more patients in 7 days or less

.
Step 1: Reply to Comments

NOTE: After posting, block off 1-2 hours to reply to comments and to move conversations to
next step calls ASAP. This will take focus. X out of everything else that may be a distraction.

Like the comment and comment back - “NAME! Can I send you a personal message?”

(Prospect replies “yes”)

Like the comment and send the initial personal message.

Step 2: Send Initial Personal Message

“Hey - thanks for showing interest! Would you mind if I ask you 2-3 questions so I can better
understand your current situation and goals? Just want to make sure that I can help you :)”

[SEND]

(Prospect replies “yes”)

Step 3: Ask Probing Questions

NOTE: The objective here is to better understand their current situation, desired situation,
perceived challenges, and background information.

Background Information Question:

awesome!

[SEND]

for starters… what’d you do/offer for clients and how is it priced?

(Prospect replies)

nice!

[SEND]

And how many X’s do you get every month on average? [the X is what you offered in your
original post such as reviews, leads, etc]
(Prospect replies)

[note: avoid getting sucked into their story and passing off long blocks of texts back and
forth. Keep this simple and moving forward to a phone call].

awesome

[SEND]

If you don’t mind me asking, do you have a goal as far as how many X you're looking to get next
month?

(Prospect replies)

[SEND]

Gotcha, and if we got you X would that help you move forward with your goals? X is from your
original post.

(Prospect replies)

[SEND]

...and what’d you think the biggest challenge is in getting from there to X goal?

(Prospect replies)

[SEND]

Ok cool, well I’m pretty sure I can help you move your #s forward, would you like to know how
this program would work?

(Prospect replies “Yes”)

If the prospect replies no you can say “Ok if that’s the case let me ask you this, why did
you raise your hand on the post?

Then you can either get the conversation back on track or close the loop with ““Ok I
understand. If you know of anyone else that wants X result, let me know and I’d be happy to
help them””
Step 4: Transition to Next Steps Call

Great - The way this program works Is I don't charge you anything for my time, I’ll set this up at
no cost, just pay for the ad spend.

[click enter and send the message]

The only thing I ask is if I generate you results that you get on a video call with me, talk about
how it was working with me, and answer a few questions so I can use it as a testimonial video.
Does that sound like a plan?

OR

Great - I’m learning facebook ads right now and about to add it to our service offering. So far
we’re getting amazing results and before I start charging full price, I need to find a business
willing to let me experiment with what I have learned.

[click enter and send the message]

Just pay for the $100 of ads, I won’t charge anything for my time. And if you like the results, all I
ask is you leave me a video testimonial? Does that sound like a plan?

[click enter and send the message]

(Prospect replies “Yes”)

If they cannot afford the $100 you can transition to another campaign such as a google review
campaign or re-activation campaign

“Ok I understand. If you’d like we can run a Google Reviews campaign and get you 20-30 more
5 star google reviews or a Client Reactivation Campaign. Both are at no cost. Would that be
better for you”

If they ask how many leads/reviews/results they can expect, you can say

‘Honestly, I don't know. You’d be my first client with this program and I’m still learning it. Are you
comfortable with that?’
If they reply no, then you say

“Ok I understand. If you know of anyone else that wants X result, let me know and I’d be happy
to help them”

(Prospect replies “Yes”)

Great - do you have time X or Y to get on a desktop computer and set up a next steps call?

After you offer a few dates, the prospect will typically respond “Sure, Monday work”

Now you respond with two times: “Great - does 10am or 4pm PST work for you?”

They will say: “4pm works”

You will say “Perfect - what’s your email?”

Then they give you their email.

Then you will say “Thanks - what’s your mobile?”

Then they will give you their mobile.

Then you respond “Gotcha in the calendar. Talk then!”

At this point head to a calendar program like calendly, set up a paid or free account, and
manually type in their information. It will email them a reminder as the meeting gets closer.

About 5 minutes before the meeting text them

‘Confirming our call in about 5 minutes. Make sure you're by a desktop computer, in a room you
can concentrate, and we’ll get everything setup. We will use a screenshare program called
zoom. Use this link to join -> [LINK]

And then send them the same script by email.

You can setup a free Zoom account at https://zoom.us/ and setup a meeting. Once you install it
and log in, click new meeting, click participants, click invite, click copy invite link, and paste that
into the message. It will look like this https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83451888181.

After they log in they can click the share screen button and you can request access and control
their screen.
We will cover the next steps/launch call in another document.

Step 5: Follow Up If The Prospect Ghosts

A fair amount of prospect will ghost during the conversation.

Give them 20 minutes, then send one of the following →

● “?”
● *Waiting GIF*
● “Just bumping this to the top of your inbox :)”

After 24 hours, send one of the following →

● “You alive? Lol”
● *Ghost gif* “Don’t ghost me! LOL”
