In accordance with Then, P.

(2021). Students can enroll in their subjects before the start

of their semesters using our online student enrollment system. This enrollment system not only

allows international students to enroll online rather than on campus, but it also incorporates

business rules. These business rules cover a wide range of regulations and policies, including

subject prerequisites, student payment status, course coordinator decisions, and the

correspondence of students' seniority to the intended enrolling subjects. Aside from business

rules, the system also includes various notification mechanisms such as SMS and email.

Further to that, XML is used to store the business rules, allowing the system interface to

be portable to a wider range of devices such as Personal Device Assistant (PDA). The interface

works by detecting the user's device, which can be a PC/laptop or a device with a much smaller

screen, such as a PDA. In short, the enrollment system's server - side engine executes business

rules, while the front-end engine executes to provide an elevated user experience. The system

can run the work - flow of student enrollment from the online enrollment form to the permission

workflow cycle in comparison with the notification capability using the business and user

interface. Then, P. (2021).

As stated by Reio T. et, al. (2020) Students who enrolled online for comfort were more

likely to enroll in a future course, whereas students who enrolled because it was required for

their major were less probable. Almost 20% of the factor in this regard curiosity and enjoyment

of interaction as the primary reasons for taking the online course. Both prosocial behavior and

satisfaction with learning experiences were found to be significant positive predictors of

subsequent online enrollment intent in hierarchical regression analyses. In the regression

equation, social presence explained the most variance.

In consonance with Yang L. (2018) For decades, state support for public higher education

has been a top priority. Online learning has previously been identified as a potential revenue

source that can provide financial relief to universities and colleges. This study examines whether

public universities boost their reliance on online education in reply to decreases in state funding

using IPEDS data and a fixed - effect regression approach. We discovered a negative correlation

between state funding and online enrollment at public 4-year institutions, which is consistent

with resource dependence theory. Our findings indicate that public academic institutions,

particularly public doctoral institutions, seem so to be diversifying their revenue streams and

increasing their commitment to online education in response to declining state appropriations.

According to recent research, certain students are at risk of achieving lower levels of

academic performance in online settings when compared to peers who only study in the

classroom. Community college students have been a particularly vulnerable population. In this

paper, we hypothesize that online course load and institutional quality may have an impact on

outcomes for students who are at risk of completing fewer degrees.

In Addition, Shea P. and Bidjerano T. (2019) We conducted a statewide study to see if

there is a "tipping point" where online course load becomes troublesome for students at

community colleges pursuing a degree through a combination of online and face-to-face6

coursework. We also test the hypothesis that some institutions excel at continuing to support

online learner success among a higher-risk population of students who choose online study.

According to the findings, community college students who take more than 40% of their courses

online begin to lose the advantages of increased getting a degree conferred by a combination of

online and face-to-face enrollment. Moderating variables are identified and discussed as well.

Fray, D. (2021) mentioned that students can more easily cross geographic boundaries as

online access causes barriers to postsecondary education to crumble, and that non-US providers

currently meet more than 50% of the demand for online learning. As a result, there is a

significant opportunity for US educational institutions to increase enrollment by effectively

meeting global demand for online postsecondary learners.

Using a representative sample sample and predisposition score weighting, I discover that

taking some online courses is linked to a lower likelihood of dropping out of college. Results

additionally show a link between taking some online courses but also sub-baccalaureate markers

of lengthy academic achievement, such as earning an associate's degree as well as transmitting

from a community college to a four-year institution. (Ortagus J. 2020).

As stated by Jaggards S. (2021) Students had a higher likelihood to fail or pull back from

online courses than from face-to-face courses within a week of controlling for student

characteristics using multilevel regression techniques. Furthermore, students who took online

coursework in the first two terms were slightly but markedly less likely to return to school in the

second and third terms, and students who took a higher proportion of their credits online were

mildly but substantially less likely to earn an educational award or transfer to a four-year

organization. Students, on the other hand, were equitably likely to finish a hybrid course as a

face-to-face course.
As mentioned by Binayao K. et, al. (2021) The Online Enrollment System was proposed

to improve Liceo de Cagayan University's current enrollment system. The study's goal was to

develop a system that would provide another enrollment option while compensating for the

school's lack of manpower and time-consuming system. The Enrollment database is the system's

database. It contains many tables and stores information such as student academic records,

secretaries idles and records, class schedules, pre-requisites, subjects, curricula, and other

system-required data. The proposed system provides the following services to old, freshmen,

transferees, and shifters: subject evaluation, grade posting, curriculum viewing, and add and

update profile. The system reduces enrollment time, accelerates idle management, and reduces

inaccuracies and errors.

Modern technological advancements are at their pinnacle. The Internet has emerged as a

powerful tool in dealing with information management as a result of these advancements. Web-

based applications are now widely used due to their accessibility. "The Internet is neither an

extraordinary nor a revolutionary communication tool." It simply represents the current stage of

human capability development through written language, which evolved from spoken language"

(Holmes, 2006). Because of its current and potential growth, the Internet has evolved into a

channel for e-commerce, providing transaction convenience and service efficiency.

Corresponding to Forman (2007)” in his article “New Research Perspectives on Mobility,

Organizations, Systems and Technologies,” Continuous technological innovation can lead to

organizational changes that range from improving day-to-day operations to providing end users

with easy access. Many schools today have adopted this innovation in their service delivery.

Western Mindanao State University provides Web-based services such as Online Class

Scheduling and Online Course System.

From the standpoint of Chamilco M. et, al. (2021) When the average wait is extended and

crowds of people form, the enrollment process of an educational institution becomes extremely

complex. The most effective way to address this issue is through technological tools. As a result,

the purpose of this research is to optimize the processes that comprise an educational institution's

enrollment management by implementing a digital enrollment system. The digital enrollment

system's development was divided into four stages. Planning: The description of the system

requirements. Design: To meet the established requirements, a simple model was chosen.

Coding: Programming languages were used to aid in the system's structure, customization, and

operation. The system was tested for errors.

Furthermore, in this regard, the digital enrollment process, such as student enrollment,

registration, and reports, was optimized, allowing for a reduction in crowds, time, and human

effort. It enabled collaborative work at a distance between the institution and the students, and it

is a technological and innovative aid that reduces the time of the enrollment processes in an

equitable and transparent manner, ensuring freedom of choice and equal access opportunities to

remote education in pandemic situations. (Chamilco M. et, al. 2021)

In a way that agrees with Quinn J. and Duruski K. (2018) The authors describe the

creation of a real-time tracking, notification, and Web-based enrollment system tailored

specifically for emergency department research. The system was created through a collaboration

between an emergency medicine researcher and a medical information software company. The

system design and implementation, as well as the security measures taken to ensure compliance

with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and database

security, are described.

In congruence with Mina J. et, al. (2021) However, zeal and dedication are insufficient;

this institution has been severely harmed in terms of procedures and processes as a result of the

New Normal's drastic changes. No face-to-face enrollment, virtual evaluation, online payment,

virtual classrooms, and virtual consultations, to name a few, are procedural strategies and tactics

implemented by the university to address health issues, defend the institution's manpower, and

comply with National Government mandates, resulting in confusion, upset, and

miscommunication due to a lack of preparation—everyone caught off guard.

As mentioned by Custodio, E. and Castro M. (2022) One of the many benefits of using

internet technology is online processing. Enrollment procedures in many universities, not just in

the Philippines, are still done manually, despite the advent of the internet and many sophisticated

technologies. The goal of this research is to create an online registration and grade evaluation

system to help advance the Pre-Enrollment Procedure. The system can help Bulacan State

University, one of the Philippines' universities, improve its student registration, grade evaluation,

and record keeping systems. The system can provide online registration for students, grade

viewing through their personal account, subject and curriculum creation, management of

different user accounts for faculty members and students, and online evaluation of grades using

the subject prerequisite system.

The proponents created this Online Registration and Evaluation System for the

University's various programs. Not all colleges use a LAN-based enrollment system, and the

majority of them enroll students manually. Proponents believed that the Internet could provide a

more effective and efficient way of enrolling in the system. (Custodio, E. and Castro M. 2022)
