MATHEMATICS 7
(Second Quarter)

I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
a. identify the different types of units use in measuring length,
b. convert measurements from one unit to another; and
c. perform the right way of using conversion table.

“When we say Metric System, it is a

kilogram, example units of this system are

tools; which is the ruler and meterstick are
most common to us.”

“One example of measuring too is a ruler. “Yes, Ma’am”

“With the ruler you have, kindly get the

length of your notebooks. Use the most
appropriate unit. As you can see, the ruler
as well as the meterstick have 2 common
parts. The first one, the upper part is for the
Metric System Units in the form of cm and
dm and the other one, the lower part is the
English System unit which is the inches.”

also has two system; the Metric system
