    ELA: This week students will dive into a new

    story called “The Good Garden”. The genre is


    realistic fiction, and we’ll review story
    elements and figurative language.

    Math: This week in math we will explore and


    create patterns. Students have a quiz on
    Order of Operations, and they can retake
    the Chapter 6 test.

    Science: We are wrapping up our unit of


    matter. This week we will learn what happens
    to matter during a chemical change.
