The poem discusses the power of hope to fuel dreams and inspire children to believe that they can achieve anything, even dreams that seem impossible. The narrator holds onto hope to motivate their pupils and help them believe in themselves, dragging themselves to school each day with a smile to spread hope. They show the children pictures of dreams to plant the seeds of aspiration and whisper that the children can achieve what they wish through hope.

Dreaming of becoming the impossible, Dreaming of anything we want to be, Dreaming of the day of glory.
I hold onto that dream
To make my pupils believe, The impossible thing they can reach, Even the stars they like in the sky.
I dragged my feet to the school,
Hold onto the same hope, To see pupils come to school, With a wide smile on their face.
I walked to the class,
A pupil came to me, Telling me how he wished, To be just like me.
I show them a picture,
A picture of a kid, With his favourite cartoon characters, Mickey and Minnie.
The pupil tell me,
How great it would be, If he or she, Can go to that place they dream. I whispered to him, You can and you will, Holding onto the same hope, To make them believe.
I hope the best for them,
Wishing that one day, We will meet, On the day of glory.
