Objective: To plot the distribution of active volcanoes, earthquake epicenters, and


major mountain belts to Plate Tectonic Theory.

What you need: crayons and paper

What to do:
1. Use Table 1 to plot the coordinates of the volcanoes on the map by drawing red star.
2. Use Table 2 to plot the coordinates of the earthquakes on the map by drawing blue
circle. 3. Use Table 3 to plot the coordinates of the mountain ranges on the map by
drawing green square.
4. After all of the points are plotted, encircle any visible patterns you observed.
