Mark 1:7
"After me comes the one more powerful than I, the straps of whose sandals I am
not worthy to stoop down and untie"
The order of God in this passage is to show that Jesus is greater than John the
Baptist and that John is submitting to Jesus' authority.
Mark 1:7 invites us to reflect on the greatness of Jesus and the importance of
recognizing His divine authority in our lives. It challenges us to approach Jesus
with humility, reverence, and a willingness to submit to His will.

Mark 1:14-15
Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of
God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand;5
grepent and believe in the gospel.”
The order of God is to announce the arrival of the kingdom of God through Jesus'
ministry. Jesus is proclaiming the good news of God, which is the message of
salvation and redemption through Him. He is announcing that the time has come
for the fulfillment of God's plan of salvation, and that the kingdom of God is near.
This passage invites us to reflect on the significance of Jesus' ministry and message
of salvation. It reminds us that God has a plan for our redemption, and that
salvation is available to us through faith in Jesus. It also challenges us to respond
to Jesus' call to repentance and faith with a sense of urgency and a willingness to
follow Him wholeheartedly.
Mark 1:17
And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”
The order of God is for Jesus to call his disciples to follow him and to become
fishers of men. Jesus is inviting these fishermen to become his disciples and to join
him in his ministry of proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God.
This passage reminds us that following Jesus involves a transformation of our
lives. Jesus promises to "make" us become fishers of men, indicating that we
cannot accomplish this on our own. As we follow Jesus, he transforms us from the
inside out, shaping us into the people he has called us to be.

Mark 1:25
Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!”
The order of God is for Jesus to perform an exorcism and to cast out a demon from
a man who was possessed. The man had been in the synagogue and was speaking
with an unclean spirit, but Jesus rebukes the demon and commands it to leave the
man.
This passage reminds us of Jesus' compassion and concern for people who are
suffering. Jesus demonstrates his care for the man who was possessed by rebuking
the demon and setting him free. He shows that he is not only concerned with
people's spiritual well-being, but also with their physical and emotional health.

Mark 1:38
And he said to them, “Let us go on to the next towns, that I may preach there also,
for that is why I came out.”
the order of God is for Jesus to continue his ministry of preaching the gospel and to
share the good news with as many people as possible. It reminds us of the
importance of sharing the gospel with others and of being committed to fulfilling
our mission as followers of Jesus.
Mark 1:38 invites us to reflect on the importance of the mission of Jesus, the
urgency of the gospel message, and our role in sharing the good news with others.
It reminds us of the importance of being committed to fulfilling our mission as
followers of Jesus and of being willing to share the message of salvation with those
around us.

Mark 1:41
Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him, “I
will; be clean.”
The order of God in this passage is for Jesus to demonstrate his compassion and
power by healing the man with leprosy. Jesus shows that he has the power and
authority to heal all manner of diseases and afflictions, and that he is willing to
show compassion and mercy to those who come to him in faith.
This passage emphasizes the importance of faith and trust in Jesus as the source of
healing and restoration. The man with leprosy demonstrates faith in Jesus by
coming to him and asking to be healed, and Jesus responds by demonstrating his
power and compassion.

Mark 1:44
And said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the
priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, for a proof to
them.”As we reflect on this passage, we can be encouraged to seek healing and
restoration from Jesus in our own lives, both physically and spiritually. We can
also strive to obey God's commands and live according to His will, trusting in His
guidance and provision along the way.
