ECON NO-MIX: ANNUAL ECONOMICS CONVENTION

The University of the Philippines (UP) Organization of Business Economics Majors
(OBEM) will hold the Econ No-Mx, an annual economics convention that aims to bring together
over 300 high school students nationwide on March 25 and 26, 2023 via online platforms.
The activity primarily aims to promote economics by introducing different economic
concepts in various field and talks.
Attached is the communication from UP OBEM Finance for your ready reference.
The participation of learners and personnel of the Department of Education from the
regional and schools division offices, including public and private secondary schools, shall be on
voluntary basis.
The activity shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy stipulated in DepEd
Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and
Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
