1- Forward: 6+2+1=9
Backwards: 1-3-6=-8
2- Forward: 6+.5+4=10.5
Backwards: 4-.5-6= -2.5
3- Forward: 3+6+4= 13
Backwards: 4-6-3= -5
Activity B followed by Activity E then Activity G is the critical path.
(b) the probability that the project will be completed in 22 weeks.
Expected Activity Time = [Optimistic + 4*Most Likely + Pessimistic]/6
A = (3+4*4+5)/6 = 4
B = (6+4*7+14)/6 = 8
C = (6+4*9+12)/6 = 9
D = (.5+4*1+1.5)/6 = 1
E = (2+4*3+10)/6 = 4
F = (4+4*5+12)/6 = 6
G = (1+4*3+11)/6 = 4

Probability = (x – expected time)/σ


Probability = (22.5 – 22)/σ = .24
