STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Browtoeful Premium Spa are dealing with a problem regarding to their current manual

process of tracking their sales. They use a Microsoft Excel for recording all of their transactions

and for monitoring their revenue. The estimated sales of the spa in a daily basis is approximately

six thousand pesos up to twelve thousand pesos and they service fifthteen customer everyday.

They are also having problems using the said application because it lacks the feature for security

and anybody can edit the information that is stored in there. It is also prone to errors like if the

manager or the cashier accidentally move something inside the cell or put the the records to

another excel tab. They are also manually calculating and computing their sales (e.g., daily sales,

weekly sales, monthly sales, annual sales) with the use of calculator. Also, the way they are

monitoring their sales is through manually summarizing their sales everyday.

MAIN OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the study is to develop a Point of Sale system for Browtoeful

Premium Spa. The system will automate the current manual process of monitoring the sales (e.g.,

daily sales, weekly sales, monthly sales, annual sales). It will also generate a report about the

total revenue of the business.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

Specifically, it aims to:

1. it allows the manager to;

a. monitor the sales of the business (e.g., daily sales, monthly sales, weekly sales,

annual sales);

b. add discount coupon or gift cards in the computation; and

c. update the pricing of the services;

2. display the performance of the employees;

3. generate monthly sales report;
