"BLESSED are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled.

Not the one who has justice, but the one who longs for it, is the one who is blessed. Mother Ignacia
exemplified this beatitude by expressing a strong desire to serve God in a sincere and dedicated
manner. In order to make amends for their misfortunes and poverty, she urged them to work hard.
Through their retreat and catechetical activities, they moved out into the world to reach and win
individuals for Christ. And she was never satisfied with what she had; she yearned for the
completeness of justice, rather than just a piece of it. Mother Ignacia and the other beatas who
aspired to serve God and his people gave them hope because of their compassion and generosity.
Her merciful heart was a result of her exceptional spiritual life, which stemmed from her unwavering
commitment and fidelity to Jesus Christ during her lifetime.

I definitely agree, she attempted to dwell in God's presence by living a life of penance and self-
sacrifice, as well as by becoming a woman for others, in order to more closely resemble Christ.
Through her commitment to living the gospel message fully, she transformed into the salt of the
earth, providing zest and meaning to Christian living in the face of obstacles. She was referred to as
"the light of the world" by the Filipinos of her generation. What Mother Ignacia accomplished was
significant not just to the Filipinos of her day, but also to us now. We are supposed to be salt of the
earth and light of the world, which means we must turn aside from our self-willed lives and allow
ourselves to be transformed into the image of Christ.

She led a life founded on the deeper reality of her desire to become more like Christ, as did Mother
Ignacia, the beatitudes woman. She obeyed God's command and was given the confidence to give
her life to Him. She lived a life of abject poverty, relying on God's merciful hand. Inspired by her own
experience of God's infinite mercy, she decided to use her gifts to help others. Becoming humble,
gentle, and faithful after realizing her insignificance in God's eyes.
