Course Objectives
 Students will learn skills of spatial data entry, storage,
retrieval, manipulation and visualization. Students will
also learn various methods and models in earth
observation using remote sensing images to measure and
monitor changes in the earth’s surface and atmosphere.
Learning objectives:
At the end of the course students should be able to;
 Apply the knowledge and understanding of the
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in water
resource projects.
 Apply the principles of Geographic Information System
(GIS) in EIA and in water resources planning and
management.
