Nigeria Going Forward!

The next general election is just a few days away and we believe God for a
crisis-free general election this time.
I believe the following thoughts will help in charting the way forward for us as
a nation. I believe:
➢ There are no evil tribes but there are evil men, and they are in every tribe.
➢ There are no evil political parties but there are evil men and women, and they
are in every political party.
➢ There are no tribes without wicked people but there are no tribes without
compassionate and caring individuals.
➢ There are no evil religions, but there are evil men, and they are in every
religion, just the rate may differ.
➢ There are no indecent tribes, but there are indecent people, and they are in
every tribe, religion, and political party.
➢ There are no greedy religions, but there are greedy people, and they are found
in every religion.
➢ But while there are wicked men and women in every, political party, tribe and
religion across Nigeria, there are also loving, caring, decent and good people
in every, political party, tribe and religion across Nigeria.
➢ The good people of Nigeria in every political party, tribe and religion should
rise up to the occasion and flush out the wicked among them, so as to secure
the great future of our children and the posterity of our great nation.
➢ I believe democracy provides an open access for any candidate from any
political party, tribe or religion notwithstanding.
➢ I think it will be undemocratic for any region or tribe to think that presidency
is their birthright.
➢ There are no political party or tribes without men and women with the
required capacity and character to lead the nation and there are no political
party or tribes without incompetent and character-deficient individuals.
➢ This is why one should consider the capacity and character of every
contestant before one decides who to cast his vote for.
➢ I think the time is past when someone will try to bamboozle Nigerians of
what he wants to do, we should only be convinced by the records of what he
may have done in time past as contained in his or her service records.
➢ Every Nigerian is advised to vote wisely, vote his/her conscience, vote the
future of his/her children, vote the future of the coming generation, vote the
future of a one-Nigeria.
May God see us through a most peaceful and bloodless elections, free from all
post-election uproars and restore the peace, prosperity and dignity of our great
nation, as an aftermath of this forthcoming election! Amen.
