Reflection:

During the Liyang research conference, my biggest takeaways is all about the
importance of the utilization of gadgets in this era and also the sustaining of research in the new normal.
The essential part of gadgets today is it gives us way to connect with our family/love ones, relatives,
friends, and to the news. Currently, it is really helpful for us especially to those who go to school/study,
and who are working, since as what the government throughout the world implemented is that the
usage of cellphone, computer, and other devices must really followed to initially stop or reduce the
spread of the COVID-19 virus, that’s why when the pandemic starts, the using of gadgets is really
mandatory in the side of the students. On the aspect of sustaining of research in the new normal or the
importance of making research in the new normal is really a must to do because it is a way to find a way
or solution in such problems, especially when it comes to the Covid-19, since to determine its causative
agent, we must first do research so that we will understand how and why did it occur, and most
importantly its management. Some research interest that are embraced in the new normal which are
discussed in liyang conference are the infectious diseases, nutritional immunology, music therapy,
political misinformation, plant science, sustainable agriculture, mental health, and mood disorders.
Those topics are somehow popular or should I say the most common study that the people made since
it relates to the condition nowadays, like the importance of mental health, it is really important because
it is the only way to cope up with the problems in the environment, which is if we have psychological
problems, our mind will let our self-down and full of negative stuffs, thus, makes ourselves prone to
suicides, not unless if the person has some supportive friends or love ones to help boost his self-esteem.
Research must be sustain not only today but also up to the future so that the future students will gain
lots of important information and to help the people gain information in any type of problems.
