CONCLUSION
Introduction.

The teenager and the social network are one of the hot topics of our time.
More and more recently, information has begun to appear in the mass media
that social networks harm the health of young people and stupefy the modern
generation. It’s the twenty-first century. The century of computer technology
and novelties. It is for them that our future lies. It is quite difficult to imagine
today’s life of people of any age without access to the Internet. Already every
fifth child not only knows how to use a computer, but also knows the Internet
perfectly. Many schoolchildren began to spend a huge amount of time on the
computer, phone, not noticing anything around them. The Internet has
replaced communication with friends, classes in interest groups, reduced the
time for preparing homework. The aggressiveness of adolescents is formed in
the form of a protest against the misunderstanding of adults, due to
dissatisfaction with their position in the circle of acquaintances and friends.
The abundance of various games and applications attract children for a long
time, thereby reducing their health and academic performance. And what
awaits us in the future? Will computers really become our best friends? Not if
we can prevent it. For instance, any medicine can be poison, taken in too large
doses. We haven’t learned how to use our time on the Internet properly. It is
an indisputable boon of civilization, and in many ways simplifies our lives.

My chosen topic is “Online social networks and their influence on students

during COVID 19 pandemic (on the example of Uzgen region schools).” I
chose this topic, because it the most popular of our time after the pandemic,
and I think it lasts for a long time, as the growth of Internet users increases,
and I was wondering how it affected people, especially high school students,
and what are the cons and pros when using the Internet.

So, the purpose of my qualification paper is to demonstrate the role of the

Internet in the life of high school students during COVID-19 pandemic and
to get an idea of students' perception of online learning.

In this work I set a number of tasks as follows :

- to consider the concept of the Internet in different sources;

- to reveal and study the role of the global network among high school
students in Uzgen region schools.

– to conduct a survey among high school students of the school Akmataali

Abdykerimov №52 on the topic “the impact of the Internet on high school
students during the pandemic”

The relevance of the study is that the results obtained can give an idea of why
our high school students need the Internet. Hypothesis with age, the need for
the Internet changes: if at a younger age students have more fun on the
Internet, then at an older age the Internet becomes necessary for students to
study.

The topicality of my paper will be relevant for years, because the more
information Internet resources appear, the more children, teenagers and adults
begin to delve into the world of the Internet. The Internet plays a big role in a
person’s life. Every day the issue of personal data protection becomes more
relevant, and the vulnerability of our computers is getting stronger.

While writing my qualification paper I have used a number of methods of

investigation : survey, interview, experiment, literature, comparative.
The theoretical value of this qualification paper is to investigate the history
of emergence of COVID – 19 pandemic, using social networks and it’s
influence on high school students and the influence of social media on
psychosocial behavior and academic performance of high school students.

The practical value of this work - includes the idea, practical result and the
given materials can be utilized in society. This work also might be useful to
parents, teachers, students who are interested in this area, there are given a lot
of information about the online education, influence of social networks on
high school students, merits and demerits of online learning.

The structure of this work – is due to the subject, purpose and research of
the problem. Work consists of 4 parts: introduction, three chapters, conclusion
and list of the used literature.

1. The emergence of coronavirus

The COVID-19 pandemic is the current pandemic caused by the spread of the
SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

An outbreak of the virus was first recorded in Wuhan, China, in December

2019. On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization declared this
outbreak a public health emergency of international importance, and on
March 11 – a pandemic. As of November 14, 2021, more than 253 million
cases of the disease have been registered worldwide; more than 5.0 million
deaths have been confirmed, making the COVID-19 pandemic one of the
deadliest in history. Basically, the SARS-CoV-2 virus is transmitted by close
contact, most often through small droplets formed when coughing, sneezing
and talking. The droplets usually fall to the ground or surface rather than
travel long distances through the air. Transmission can also occur through
smaller droplets that are able to remain suspended in the air for longer periods
of time. Less often, infection is possible after touching a contaminated
surface, and then to the face. An infected person is most infectious during the
first three days after symptom onset, although spread is possible before
symptoms appear and through people who do not show symptoms. Common
symptoms include fever, cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of taste, and
anosmia (loss of smell), possibly with ear congestion. Complications can
cause acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and pneumonia
(inflammation of the lungs). The COVID-19 pandemic has caused serious
socio-economic consequences, including the largest global recession since the
Great Depression and massive famine, affecting about 265 million people.
This has led to the postponement or cancellation of many sporting, religious,
political and cultural events, and widespread supply shortages have been
exacerbated by panic buying. Reduced emissions of pollutants and
greenhouse gases. Schools, universities and colleges were closed either
nationally or locally in 172 countries, affecting approximately 98.5% of the
world’s school and student age population. Misinformation about the virus
spread through social media.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the largest in the history of disruption of
educational process and has already practically ubiquitous impact on learners
and teachers all over the world and at the work of preschool institutions,
secondary schools, institutions of technical and vocational education and
training, universities, institutions for adult education and centers advanced
training. Most of the confirmed COVID-19 patients were adults. Preliminary
evidence may indicate that children are less susceptible to the virus, but it is
suggested that children can spread the virus. School closures are generally
considered to be an effective way to slow the spread of disease, but more data
are needed to clearly assess the impact. In some cases, school closings are
considered ineffective if they are carried out too late. Since school closures
tend to occur concurrently with other measures, such as bans on public
gatherings, it is difficult to assess the specific impact of closings of schools,
colleges and universities. The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted tide the course
of daily life, and about 40 millions of children around the world who will
soon start studying, missed the opportunity to get an important preschool
education. Consequently, they were deprived of the opportunity to be in an
instructive and developing environment, learn new skills, interact with peers
and (in some cases) receive proper nutrition. Disruption of work processes
made it difficult to implement programs internships and on-the-job training
place that are essential elements of functional and meeting the needs of the
market systems of professional technical education.. In the field of higher
education, where distance learning, in most cases, has taken the form of
broadcasting recorded lectures and working with online platforms, some
universities have suspended their work indefinitely due to the lack of
information Technology (IT) infrastructure for both students and teachers.

Amid the COVID-19 episode, instructive teach were closed and understudies
around the world were locked in their homes. In an instructive environment,
understudies depend on coeducation (CL) to move forward their scholarly

and control of the educational process and the quality of education. One of the

technologies, practiced traditional lessons using online applications. Those

adapt to the new format. In many cases, teachers had the opportunity to
improve their qualifications through participation in online programs and use
telephone and video applications, however, teachers located in marginalized,
unlikely whether they had access to such support. Web class apps and
messaging apps become useful tools and new means of communication with
students and fellow educators. Teachers all over the world have found
themselves mostly not ready to provide continuity of learning and switch to
new teaching methods. Despite this, the teachers got along well, it was an
opportunity for some teachers to learn how to work with computers and
various applications.

70.2%, students and working– 71.4%), online classes with a teacher/teacher
and class/group (students - 68.2%, students and employees – 68.6%), and

students and employees were unable to continue their studies, so how
household obligations have increased. 6.5% of students and 9.3% of those
who combine work and study could not continue their studies due to lack of
Internet access, TV and computer. The educational process took place equally
regardless of the gender and place of residence of the respondents. The only
