Procedure:

Introduction (5 minutes):

Introduce the topic of present continuous tense by asking students if they know what it is. Write the
term on the board.
Explain that the present continuous tense is used to talk about actions that are happening now or
around the present moment.
Show pictures or flashcards depicting actions and ask students to describe what they see using the
present continuous tense.
Presentation (15 minutes):

Write the structure of present continuous tense on the board: subject + am/is/are + verb+ing.
Give examples of present continuous tense, such as "I am playing" or "They are singing."
Explain that the verb "to be" (am/is/are) changes depending on the subject of the sentence.
Practice (20 minutes):

Provide students with worksheets or handouts for practice. These should include fill-in-the-blank
exercises and sentence-writing exercises.
Encourage students to work in pairs or small groups to practice using present continuous tense in
conversation with each other.
If possible, provide interactive online resources for practice, such as games or quizzes.
Assessment (10 minutes):

Ask students to individually write five sentences in the present continuous tense.
Collect the sentences and assess them for accuracy and proper use of the tense.
Conclusion (5 minutes):
