Mr. Voight develops well written plans that encompass both the objectives and the learning needs of all students. He has been
presented with times where he has had to change plans on the spur of the moment because of schedule changes, and he was still
able to be flexible and stay on pacing. Mr. Voight collected, analyzed, and provided feedback on independent tasks the students
completed and used the information to guide his planning. He also used formative data from his small group instruction.

Mr. Voight does an excellent job of engaging the students. He uses a variety of interactice learning strategies to keep the kids moving
and involved in the lessons. He uses all different ways to group the students for cooperative learning to include food pair cards,
numbers on desks, and planet partners (to go along with a science unit). Throughtout his lessons, Mr. Voight checks for
understanding, adjusts accordingly, and closes every lesson.

Mr. Voight used both formative and summative assessments to guide future instruction and to assess learning. He provided feedback
to the students so they knew how they were doing. For a math unit, Mr. Voight did a pre-assessment prior to teaching the unit and
grouped the kids accordingly. Throughout the unit, he conducted a variety of quick checks to assess learning. These grades were put
into a gradebook that he created a QR code for and shared with me so that I can have access.

Mr. Voight has taught all math lessons in small groups as well as provided on-level small group instruction in reading. He has also ran
small groups for both writing and science as he saw necessary. He is very fair, caring, enthusiastic, and respectful. The students
know what to expect from him. Instructional time is maximized. Mr. Voight uses timers often to keep himself on track and make sure
that lessons are on schedule.
