Translocation in
plants
Definition of Translocation
Translocation is a process of transporting organic substances such as
sucrose, amino acids, and hormones in the phloem from the leaves to
other parts of the plant such as roots and stem. In general, this
happens between where these substances are made and where they
are used or stored.
