A. JOB PURPOSE:
Please define the purpose of the job
Responsible for translating requirements into good quality web application. This effort needs to be
conducted in close collaboration with the Solution Architect and other developers to ensure the design of
code complies with the overall architecture
1. Create, maintain, audit and improve applications/systems to meet particular needs, often as
advised by a Business Analyst or Solution Architect. He/she tests both on related hardware and
software systems needed. Diagnose and resolve systems/applications faults. Make
recommendations for future developments, when required.
2. Design, implement and test the software/web application to meet requirements as well as test
any supporting databases.
3. Frequently integrate the developed application with the work of other developers in the team;
4. Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects;
5. Work closely with other staff, such as project managers, graphic artists, interface designers,
other developers, systems analysts and sales/marketing professionals;
8. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior(s) from time to time.
