There is value in disease prevention.

It is better or more important to prevent diseases rather than

find an intervention for them. Prevention involves taking measures and practices to reduce the

possibility of having healthcare issues such as diseases, disabilities, or premature death. The

other value of disease prevention is that it improves health and also economic stability, for

example through routine vaccination. For example, vaccines save up to 3 million lives annually,

and yet 1.5 million children lose lives each year to diseases that could be prevented by

immunization (USC, 2020). Other than vaccination, people can also engage in practices that

increase immunity power such as eating low-oily and low cholesterol foods, regular exercise,

and jogging. People should bother about disease prevention as it lessens the adverse effects of

disease and it is also one of the most important elements of managed care. Therefore, prevention

services should be promoted to improve a healthy lifestyle.
