On the 22nd November 1963 President Kennedy visited

Texas to campaign for the upcoming Presidential election.


It was a date that shook the world. He was only 46-year
old when he died, the following was what happened at the
scene:
As the motorcade passed the Texas School Book
Depository in Dealey Plaza, shots rang out and the
President clutched his neck with both hands and slumped
in his seat. A second bullet caused his head to 'explode'.
Connally (Governor of Texas who was in the car with
Kennedy) was also struck by a bullet. A bullet that later
became known as Exhibit 399 was found on the stretcher.
At 1:00, President Kennedy is pronounced dead at
Parkland Hospital. His body also left Parkland Hospital
and was taken to Love Field will be carried to Washington
DC on Air Force One.
A rifle was found on the sixth floor of the Texas School
Book Depository. Authorities found it was Lee Harvey
Oswald’s and he was arrested.
