Dear William Allen High School Learning
Community:
I trust this message finds you healthy and safe. As
we approach Spring Break, I want to share that our Executive Leadership Team is deeply aware of the climate, culture, and leadership challenges at William Allen High School. We are addressing these areas through a multi-pronged approach that prioritizes the safety of students and staff.
As part of my entry to the District, as your acting
superintendent and now your superintendent, I created multiple opportunities to build relationships and garner information to determine strengths, areas of growth and opportunities. Through these sessions, I spoke with multiple stakeholders and a few themes emerged across the district and our schools, including numerous needs at William Allen High School.
To gain deeper insight into the needs of William
Allen High School, we conducted focus groups and disseminated a climate survey to staff, students, and families. The dedication and love of William Allen High School and the Allentown School District Community resonated as nearly 1,000 students, staff and family members submitted survey responses, and more than 125 staff participated in Focus Groups. We heard your concerns and understand the sense of urgency for change. As a result of this honest and candid participation, our Administrative Team identified the need for:

Estimada comunidad de aprendizaje de William
Allen High School:
Espero que se encuentren bien y seguros. A medida
