I would like to use this letter to inform you of the requirements that the electrical service provider “CFE”
made regarding the connection of the new production building to their system, they required group
operated fuses and fault line indicators be installed at the connection point (please see note on attached
drawing)

The department of “CFE” that is responsible for approving the project for the new production building,
determined that additional equipment was required at the service point, it is not until we reached this point
of the project that we were informed and it was required by them, this equipment to summarize is installed
for the protection of the electrical system of the industrial park and its users, in case of an electrical fault
by one of its users, it ensures that faults don’t reach the system and disrupt service for other users, hence
protecting your plant from other users and vice versa.

This requirements are determined only by “CFE” and on a case by case basis, every time that a new users
connects to the system they have to evaluate how this impacts the whole system, they take in to
consideration certain criteria that could impact the performance of the electrical grid, for example, how
many users are under the same circuit, how much demand does that circuit have and what is the expected
demand in the future, the number of faults they have had in the system, just to name a few.
Additionally, as it has been mentioned in previous meetings and in our proposals, “CFE” will most likely
require that in the future an automatic recloser be installed at the connection point, this from previous
experience will not likely happen until you expand your production and your contract with them to reach
approximately 1500KW of demanded load, again as mentioned above this is determined by them on a case
by case basis, but we have seen that around this demand is when they require this equipment. The price of
the installation of this type of equipment can hover around 50 to 80 thousand dollars, this price depends
on the final specifications of the equipment that “CFE” will solicit.
I sincerely hope this letter clears up any questions that arose from this requirement at such a late stage of
the project
